I use them on a daily bases and don't even what to think of, what I would do if I couldn't get them anymore. I use them on our Time Card, yes, we still use paper time cards :-). I use them on all of our letter. our Shop guys use them to label products and parts...... we use them for so many things I don't have the time to type it all up :-) so, I sure hope these label will never be discontinued, ever

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Label Bad Conversion I really like these labels but the conversion process the Wizard never worked right, I tried many times. Ended up crashing my MSWord. I ended up creating a format in Excel and doing it in there. I do love the labels and they work perfect for my barcoding.

They never jam the printer, either. My text is always perfectly lined up. These labels make it easy to provide a professional appearance to my correspondence.

The Easy Peel is the best thing ever!! When I'm doing a larger mailing the Easy Peel really cuts down on the time it takes to get the labels on the envelopes. I would not buy anything but Avery Easy Peel address labels of this size.

I can accompolish in a few minutes what used to take me a day or more to do, whether using a merge system for sending out to numerous individuals or needing a full page of the same label. They truly are smudge free, jam free, and easy to peel as stated on the box, and that Avery guarantees. Although the box of 3000 I am currently using is designed for Ink Jet printers, they print equally as well with my laser printer. I depend on them to lighten my workload, and they have not let me down. Thanks, Avery.

I maintain all my addresses on the Avery template, then just print when time to mail. I also use these labels on everyday mailings when I make a mistake in writing the address. Just put one of these labels over the mistake and you have a fresh writing area to start over and looks clean!

His office was bought by a new company and all file folders had to be redone with new account numbers. They take the ink so nicely- no smearing! Also, they are much brighter white than many other brands. The adhesive is plenty sticky and I've used these for lots of other uses than addresses.

I have a sheet hanging with a sharpie right on my refrigerator. Everyone one eats the leftovers now because they are clearly labeled with contents and date stored. Next step up is all the fancy labels for canning and uses in my home office and art projects. Excellent job Avery. Innovative, high quality products for the entire home and office.

They are a bright white so they print clearly and the colors look great. Once in a while, they sheet doesn't go into the printer just right and I waste the whole sheet because they don't print on the labels.

It was very quick and easy to make nice matching labels with the Avery online Christmas templates. One I needed was a nutcracker, one was ornaments, and the last was a Santa.... awesome that all the graphics I needed were available online. I like that I could print exactly how many I needed of each style exactly where I wanted them to print on my sheet of labels.

I get two per sticker, and hand them out 60 at a time (one sheet. We start each lesson with the 2-5 stickers we need while I'm reading the text. I've been doing this for 10 years, and they work great!

One of the things I like best about them is that I can print just one label if that is all I need or I can print the whole page it is my choice. Another thing I like about them is that I can use the Avery design and print online service and print labels with different designs on that are appropriate for holidays or seasons.

The adhesive adheres well and they have maintained their (white) color without yellowing over time. Love them!

It was so easy I liked it much better than programs I have used on my computer. I also have used it to make To & From labels for presents. Using the web site program I was also able to put pictures on the labels very easily. Everything printed up perfectly. I would highly recommed Avery products and using the on line program to design it. Avery made it so easy that is the only way I will make my labels from now on.

I have stored a template in MS Publisher in which I drop a photo of the new house as well as the new address and phone number. Before Facebook, this was a necessity. I also use these for Christmas card mailings. In one city, our primary bank did not have any local branches, so I used these labels for 2 years to send my deposits by mail to my bank. I get the most compliments when I carry these with my contact information to conventions to stick onto those drawing slips for giveaways or for mailing list subscriptions. The Avery brand labels are of a thicker and brighter stock than any other brand I have ever used, and they almost never jam. I am a loyal Avery user!

I was afraid the labels would not line up right or it would get jammed in my printer. Well after spending too much time and money sending my projects out & still not getting back what I wanted, I gave Avery a try. I must say I did have to tweak the settings slightly for one batch to get the alignment correct. In all fairness it did contain a graphic. Otherwise, I am thrilled with the results and will NEVER outsource for labels again! I esp love the option to keep all info the same on all labels or change on each! Keep up the great work Avery!

Using the Avery template, the print stays centered on the labels from top to bottom of the page. Overall, a useful tool.

I find them convenient and easy to use for large mailing lists, such as Christmas cards and invitations to special occasions. Although I did have concerns when I transitioned from Microsoft to an iMAC I found I had no difficulty in using the labels. A good product, I will continue to use it.

However as christmas approches and it is time to prepare those Christmas cards using LAbels cuts preperation time down by 90%. I use them both for addresses and return addresses. My wife has Arthritis and this makes her life easier.

I hate to break it to all of the naysayers, but I do believe it may be user error, or an issue with your printer that you are all compaining about.

Every Christmas, I make up a sheet of labels for each child with their own unique decal, color and font for each present. The labels stay nicely on the wrapping paper unlike gift tags or generic brands that tear when you take them off their sheet. When I buy Avery products every sheet comes out perfect without any effort, but when I buy the big box office supply brands I end up wasting about half the sheets and they never look anywhere as nice as the Avery labels...lesson learned!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For essential jobs - a great product I do many things in my business but one thing I do regularly is mail out groups of hundreds of envelopes for different clients. I use mailing labels to speed up the process and also printing them is easier using a merge program. When you are running a production - one person, trying to make the most of your time, you do not want the label you are using to 1. get stuck on the sheet, 2.) be difficult to grab, or 3.) smear. Avery has the advantage over the rest of the store-brand labels because they use the "Easy Peel' feature - boy does that make grabbing and positioning a label MUCH FASTER for me. I never have to stop and re-do an envelope because the labels are so easy to remove from the sheet. This DOES make a difference when you have many envelopes to do and I appreciate the non-smear quality of the Avery labels as well. They do not snag in my printer like some other brands do. I have used this product for about 10 years now and am completely happy with the product and buying the brand-name Avery as opposed to an in-store copy. We were able to download a customized template for graduation that was exactly her style (very important to a 17 year old!). It was quick and easy to print them on our home computer printer.

When Christmas time rollls around I know that Avery will have cute labels for me to download and add my addresses on them to send out to all of my family and friends. I have always used these certain labels and absolutely love them. I would recommend them to everybody who does not like WRITING out all of those Christmas card envelopes. Avery makes it easier for the busy mom to get the task done right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT LABEL Not only do I use this label at work for return address, mailing labels, labels for special catalogs with our address, e-mail etc, but I use lots of them at home for mailing labels for paying bills, and also for labeling pictures. I have old photos of grandparents, etc that were handed down to us, and we don't know who they are because they are not labeled and everyone who knows who they are are deceased, so I am trying very hard to label all my photos so future generations will know who they ancestors were. This is a great label, because I can put lots of info on it for the pack of a photo.

I use a FileMaker Pro database program to produce the labels, which makes it easy to make labels for addressing envelopes too. They print out nicely, peel off easily, but don't peel off what you stick it on as long as it's dry and clean. I keep a box around just for those times I need labels. Makes it so much easier. And, they don't peel off inside the printer!

Downloaded the software and plugged in the addresses and printed them out! All I have to do now is sign the cards and stamp them! Mom's hoping for an I Pad for Christmas so maybe Avery can help! I use them for mailing labels, but lately have also discovered how much fun it is to go into the Avery Design & Print Online tool and make my own return address labels. I used one of my own photos, shrunk it down and inserted it to the left of my return address. The online template makes this quick and easy! I have had no trouble with the printing of these labels and they peel off easily while leaving the remaining labels intact for future use. This is a great product - thanks Avery!

It has saved me a bunch of time and cramping hands from writing the info like I used to do. I have also used the labels in many other different ways around my house. I have used them to label plastic storage containers with its contents, boxes with its contents, on canning jars, etc.... This is a very good size of label for a myriad of uses.

These were just the right size, easy peel, and the ink jet printer was able to do a really professional job on these. I used the Avery Wizard for the first time, and was so excited with the way my envelopes looked, I did the address list for my son and his wife and printed labels for them. When I do a mailing such as this, I save the few on the bottom and use them to label other things such as plastic containers with food to freeze. Would you believe these few leftover labels keep your freezer organized as well? Love them and the ease for a novice to use.

Using the labels on 24" x 36" maps makes comments and instructions easier to read compared to my handwritting. Then scan the map, then print and it comes out looking more professional.

Not only are they great for address lables, but I label my file folders, small craft bins and have even used them on some other projects. They still well, but come off the sheet easily and the print quality on the paper is great.

The way they peel and have the tab the exposes the edges makes it much easier than other similar products I have used in the past. The downloadable software is great. I use the labels with Filemaker Pro which has the template built in.

I also use them for Girl Scout projects...great for swaps and other projects. I also sometimes have a problem with alignment (perhaps, I am trying to put too much stuff on my labels). I use the labels to print phonics rules for my students. I print the rules with an example of how the rule is used such as '"When two vowels are together the first one says its name." tea says E, aim says A, pie says Iê Then I can make a whole sheet of labels and affix them to student study sheets as the students progress. Avery labels save me time and help me and other staff members be organized in the classroom.

Upon learning how to add a picture to the label and placing them on envelopes, our mail person was amazed! Every time she sees the label she makes a nice comment (it's a picture of my wife and I taken several years ago. To my knowledge, we have never used any other label and we will NOT use another label. I make a template of student names at the beginning of the year and use it daily to place on student work. Since I teach small children that sometimes do not have the best handwriting this eliminates the time taken for me to write their name legible on projects as well as gives them a model to copy from for practice. I can use the labels to make a practice sheet for them to copy their handwriting with also and better utilize the labels I have prepared.

They print half way down the label, after numerous attempts at realigning. Tried calling for help and they have limited business hours. VERY disappointed.

I went to them one day and asked if I could make the labels for them. I bought the 8160 Avery Easy Peel Label and proceeded to make a file using a database. They are so hooked. This has been going on for 5 years now. They give me their list, I type them out, print the labels and they in turn use them on their Xmas cards. They are in 7th Heaven. They tell me that they are extremely easy to apply to their cards, nice and white and removing them with the easy peel makes it so easy. I also make return address labels for them. These save me the hours it would take to hand address envelopes. It's so easy to utilize the spreadsheet address list and have it print to fit the labels. It is so slick! The labels peel off easily so I can get into an efficient rhythm when applying them to the envelopes. I've used cheaper brands or generics and Avery is superior.

I print out different mailing labels for any occasion using their designs. I make my own greeting cards so I use the mailing labels to send out cards.

Also use these for labels on files, folders, separator pages, etc. I even used these to label shelves and plastic containers where we store our office supplies. They come off the page easily, and seem to always stick.

Many times I print out address labels to relatives and friends before going on vacation so I can just stick them on a post card or envelope and don't have to carry my address book.

I deal with bulk store catalogs and flyers left out for customers to take and these labels are a great way to remind people when they take a catalog/flyer home where they got it from and how to contact us (whether by phone, email or stopping back in).

The templates through MS Office Word make them a breeze to use. These are the perfect size for 99 percent of the mailings that I do and I couldn't be happier with them.

Now, my teen is in high school, I'm a PTSO mom, and students need everything. Found these labels so quick to make up and easy to use, bought a box for the school! Even taught some students how to download the templates so they can make labels for themselves.

I especially like being able to enter just a few names/addresses on partially used sheets. My only complaint is that sometimes roles separate address lines onto one line. I've learned to overcome this, but one has to be careful.

It seems we find a new use for them every week-from address labels to notebook tags, from sheet music labels, to preschool name tags, from ingredient labels to craft labels, from key tag labels to nursery cup labels, and I could go on. They are everywhere in this church and used for so many things. Not too big and not to small. Every time I order office supplies they are on the list. Seems like I am always saying, " I know...we can create something with address labels that you can use for that." Love 8160's.

I use them to add comments to other mailings, add fun and enjoyment to my mailings depending on the season. I use them to add "details" etc. to other materials. I just have found many many uses for your address labels in addition to addressing. Thanks for the easy to use templates and software. I'd be lost with out them. oldbuck

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great multi-purpose labels! I bought these labels to use as "return address" labels. However, I've since learned you can use them for a few other things too. Anyway, they ran through my printer with no problem. I like that the edges are rounded, and the Easy-Peel feature is a major bonus! I now have quite professional looking labels to use for my outgoing mail, and at a fraction of the cost it would have been to have them professionally made. Paired with the Avery software/templates, you cannot go wrong with these labels!

After trying your template, the template is not the same even though your label container says ‘8160’ . How much more time should I waste trying to make your ‘over confident’ template?

Sad to see such horrible reviews maybe they've worked out the bugs but I was able to print out labels for my business and personal using the templates on here. I loved that I could add an image and some of the preloaded ones were great! Awesome product I picked up at my base exchange and they came out great on my first try! I'm never writing out a label again!
