Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work for extending displays on Macbook I bought this little adapter to extend my display to two external Dell monitors. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it does not function in that capacity. It will only mirror the displays between the two externals, because the Macbook cannot detect them as separate outputs. Major fail on the testing for this device, Belkin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only MIRRORS display for Macs with 10.10 Don't bother with this device if you have a Mac. Bought one, tested on multiple Macs with OS 10.10. At "best" I got a mirrored display. Which is pretty much useless unless you want to project (but if that's the case, a lot of the modern Macbooks have 2 thunderbolt/displayport outputs so this would only be useful if you needed a mirrored display for some sort of projection.) All of the listings (on various sites) never come out and say whether or not this provides 2 displays. It doesn't.Sporadically it would display static on one of the two displays in the various testing configurations.Belkin support is terrible. Support Chat told me I had to call 1-800 since they couldn't answer about it, 1-800 said it was a "business class device" and I'd have to wait 24-72 hours for a call back. Call back said that they had no info (aside from the standard BASIC 101 use the System Pref for Monitors to look for configuring... which doesn't show anything for this device). They said could have tech call back in YET another 24-48 hours. When pressed on whether it had been tested on Mac with 10.10, wouldn't come out and say Yes or No (gave very evasive vague answer... if we shipped it, engineering would have had to test it, right?... to which I replied "can you tell me DID they test it?"... no answer to that...)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing compatablity info This device will not run a SurfacePro3 (either the tablet itself or to the docking station) with more than 1 monitor. Even though this device's whole purpose is to give 2 monitor connections. I couldn't find anything about this, except another site listed this as not compatible with the SurfacePro3 or it's dock. If this info had been listed I wouldn't have purchased several for our business.
