Do not buy this
This daisy wheel does not type print fonts but type italic fonts. It was made in West Germany, probably more than 31 years ago.

sx4000 back in business
Great deal , a broughman 10 would have been more favorable than script print wheel. Still all in all, if you have an sx4000 like I do and just want to keep on typing, you get the kit to keep your typewriter going for a long time. Brother I think offers best deal for daisywheel starter kit.

Daisy Wheel is not lining up... types in gibberish
Daisy wheel is different in a minor way. The old one has a metal pin and the one I got has a plastic nub. I swap the old wheel and the new wheel over and over then ran the demo. Old wheel types normally (except for the broken 'n' character and the new one is consistently not lining up.
Trying to leave an email for help and seems to be a rat's maze trying to make that happen.
I would change my review if I could get some sort of help and allow me to drop a message while they are closed.

The print was italic and there was no way to know when I ordered it so I was disappointed.

Brother great support for its once-high tech!!
Amazed that Brother still supports consumables on their excellent, though ancient, word processors and related printers. I love mine, and glad to have these unused items!!
