Rated 5 out of 5 by from This does not print even close to 4500 pages I have ordered 3 of these high yield print cartridges and none of them have been even CLOSE to the advertised number of pages (and I only purchase genuine brother toner. The printer starts giving you a message about being "low" on toner far before it is. You can cancel this but after a few times it locks you out and you CANNOT USE THE DEVICE until you replace the toner, even if the print quality is perfect and there is plenty of toner left. False advertising for sure. The smart chip counts pages and does not actually assess how much ink is used. So if you print 4000 blank pages you will throw out an essentially full toner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TN 760 and TN 770 are not interchangeable Very disappointed to learn that TN770 is not interchangeable in all machines that take TN760. As someone who uses these in an office with multiple printers, it's an inconvenience and ends up costing more money. If one machine can take TN 760 OR TN 770, the other machine should be able to take TN 770 as well, but no, now it will only work in a few machines. I have requested our IT not install anymore Brother printers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as advertised These cartridges do not yield the advertised number of pages. I will never buy another brother printer again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TN 770 doesn't work in MFC-L2750DW After years of good results with Brother printers, I now have a problem with the MFC-L2750DW. For some reason, it will no longer work with the TN-770. I don't know if it is due to a software update or a change with the cartridge. Either way Brother support says the printer needs servicing. The printer works fine with the old TN-770 cartridge and new TN-730 cartridges. A 2nd MFC-L2750DW in our office now has the same problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Next Printer will NOT be a Brother! Totally agree with previous bad review! Our previous Brother printer locked up, even after we put in a brand new BROTHER toner. We could not get it to work. No help from Brother, so a perfectly good printer with a perfectly new toner - USELESS. Decided to buy a new printer with iPrint feature, and saw toners were less costly - so why not. Well, live and learn, the printer as previous review states counts pages and locks up before the toner is empty...we were getting perfectly good prints which show plenty of toner still, but Brother forces you to buy a new one and replace. So next time, we buy another brand. Enough is enough. For the price of these toners, we can afford another brand and move on from this scam to spend more money with Brother. AND THIS IS WHY PEOPLE BUY NON BROTHER TONERS. BECAUSE IF IT RUINS THE MACHINE, AT LEAST YOU HAVE SAVED SOME MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. SORRY BROTHER BUT THE CONSUMER SHOULD DECIDE WHEN THE TONER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, NOT YOUR "TESTED" NONSENSE EXCUSE RESPONSE TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEW. As stated, my other Brother and a BRAND NEW BROTHER toner cartridge and WOULD NOT UNLOCK and NO HELP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great experience! I don't understand the negative reviews. I print thousands of pages and have gone through many Tn-770 toner cartridges and have had great success with all of them. I anything they may have exceeded the number of copies claimed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not print 4,500 copies or even close! I barely started using a brand-new MFC-L2750DW around 11/01/22 & the cartridge that came with it was used up in less than 10 working days. I then installed a TN-770 but it is also dead. The total count reads 4543, Fax is 2003 & Copy is 471. We are a low volume small office & don't have heavy usage of fax & copies.
