Rated 5 out of 5 by from best little color printer!I've had this little printer for nine months. Took it to Mexico for 3 months last winter, which is the reason I bought it, to keep track of my graphs while day trading. It is not only perfect for on the road, but I have ended up using it at home instead of my more expensive Canon MG7120, which is also an excellent colour printer. The iP110 makes surprisingly good colour photo prints, but the reason I use it full time is because it is so frugal in its ink consumption, and ink is the most expensive part of owning a color printer. Buy it. It's worth the extra you'll pay for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PrinterI have this printer upstairs at my home as a second printer to the one downstairs in my office. I have every computer and tablet linked to it and it works flawlessly. Is fast and efficient and very quiet. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Portable PrinterPros:I bought this IP110 for use primarily with a volunteer organization which places medical, climbing and communication personnel high on a popular hiking mountain during the Summer weekends, to help those who inevitably find them selves in trouble. I use it primarily in the spring and some in the summer months for printing ID badges and other documents on site.It is great for this purpose, as I can take it to our annual mountain training and medical training meetings to have onsite printing capability. I generally have electricity for these events, using a small generator at the mountain training. However, I also purchased a battery for it, for the eventually, that I may not have electricity available. The battery is simple to install.Being able to use it with not only with my small tablet/laptop, but with other portable devices is handy. The printing quality is excellent. Before this, I used an IP90 printer for the same purpose. I had purchased a Blue Tooth adapter for it, but found it was faster to use a cable. With the IP110's WiFi connectivity, I can connect to it either by WiFi from portable devices, or by cable as I wish. If I need Wifi in the mountains, I can set up a WiFi network, using my iPhone as a hotspot. This seems to work well.Cons:The IP110, as its predecessor, the IP100, is slightly thicker than my older IP90.I would have given it 5 stars except for the potential issue with the print head as explained below. The speed of the IP110 is not up there with the desktop printers, but I suppose one should not expect it to compete on the same level as its larger cousins. It does well what I need it to do.Since my IP90 did not get used on a regular basis throughout the fall and winter months, the print head tended to get plugged up, such that the automatic head cleaning was not effective and just wasted precious ink. I tried various ways to clean the head manually, with marginal success. I ended up purchasing a new head to replace the old one. This worked fine for a while. Since parts for the IP90 are no longer available, I was forced to purchase this IP110, which also has more features than the older IP90.Since the print head on the IP110 is very similar to the head for the IP90, I suspect it will have the same problem with extended inactivity. While I recommend this as a great printer for portable use, I would suggest that users of this printer, be sure to use it occasionally through out the whole year to prevent the head from getting clogged with drying ink. Having learned this lesson on the IP90, I will certainly be careful to use this one more frequently throughout the whole year.I only wish Canon would provide an effective method for manually cleaning these heads, for the eventuality when they may become more heavily clogged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless??This is a great small printer in terms of print quality. The so called wireless aspect can drive you batty. I took this on a working vacation and after 3 frustrating hours ordered a USB cable overnight. And I thought it was only me!By the way the Epson WF100 has a self contained wifi hub. Works like a charm.
