The printer displays instructions on installing on the printer screen which was great. I was very impressed when I printed my first color picture. It was clear and looked great and it was printed on regular copy paper. Very impressed!!

I had used a different brand for years offering similar features but it was very finicky and you never knew if it was going to work or not. This Cannon has been totally reliable. So convenient to install and I love the app I use from my phone to print A grade quality photos. Installing ink has been simple to do and over all I love this printer. It is used daily in our busy household. My only minor complaint would be the back loading photo paper feeder is a little flimsy and can fall down easily. It could be sturdier. Otherwise very happy with this printer!

There was a little confusion on how the front tray clicks into the front of the printer, and after initially trying to snap it back into the position it was in prior to pulling it from the printer, I decided that it must be how it was assembled. Other than that, I had little to no difficulty setting up this wonderful multi-function printer. However, I admit that being a computer technician makes the process quite easy for myself. The average end user might have some initial difficulties if instructions are not followed properly. So far, though, the printer does what a printer is supposed to do, print pages very well, and prints beautiful pictures on any glossy photo paper. There are just too many features to discuss in this short review, but mainly my favorite feature is how I can have it connect to my android smartphone through an app, and it will print ANY of my images that I have saved on the phone itself. Honestly, I’ve been using many different printers since I first began using computer systems, and I’ve seen what my friends use as well. If I had to recommend a quality printer, I would recommend this printer for the money paid. It sets up nicely next to my laptop in my living room where I do most of my work including school work. When I need to print up an assignment, I know I can count on this printer to deliver well done printed pages that will give my instructors pause. Because of the initial confusing nature of the front paper tray, I had to take off one star off the rating, but otherwise, it's a reasonable product at a competitive price.

I do not like that when turn off the printer, its front cover does not fold back in its initial position. It has to be push back manually.

The setup was quick and easy. The pictures and documents I printed were excellent quality. I am very happy with this printer and how great it worked.

The printer is a nice cool printer with the many all-in-one wireless features that I always look for when getting one (printing, copying, and scanning). Although I am not an expert in setting up technology devices, I was very comfortable in setting up the printer by myself for the wireless connection and the instructions were well explained. When using the printing was quite smooth, not too noisy, and the printing speed was speedy. Copy and scanning documents on the printer was also with good results with higher resolutions. The black and white printing looks excellent which I use most frequently for text and other document printing for my home office needs. The color printing was also excellent. Most in all, I like the printer as it is excellent for its size, speed, and quality. Since this printer uses inkjet, my concerns are the cost of ink replacements which is always the most expensive part for this type of printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMeneray from Smooth and quietThis ink is smooth and vibrant. I enjoyed how it is easy to install prints without skipping or blotting. This ink is large but will last awhile. I should mention I was sent a free sample to review and think they are more than generous to offer such a quality product for free even a review. I would definitely purchase this printer ink cartridge.
