Installation for XenApp/XenDesktop includes:
• Verify system prerequisites
• Retrieval and installation of Citrix licensing
• For XenApp (Windows Server 2008 R2/ 2012 R2) Installations:
- Create a new single server site or add a server to an existing site
- Install VDA on application server and publish up to 3 apps
- Create a Machine Catalog
- Create a Delivery Group reflective of Machine Catalog
• For XenDesktop 7.x Installations:
- Verify configuration of master image and VDA
- Create and deploy a single site using Machine Creation Services (MCS) up to 2 catalogs
- Install VDA on Golden Image/Desktop OS
- Create a Machine Catalog
- Create a Delivery Group reflective of Machine Catalog
• Create Citrix Web Sites – utilizing Web Interface or Citrix StoreFront
• Test and verify configuration – services and functionality
• Knowledge transfer to customer, overview of all work performed and follow-up
Installation for NetScaler includes:
• Verify system prerequisites
• Retrieval and installation of Citrix licensing
• For Netscaler Appliance or VPX installations
- Initial import of (1) VPX appliance
- Initial networking configuration
- Installation of SSL certificate
- Configuration of AGEE ICA Proxy
- Create LDAP policy for access gateway authentication
- Configuration of SSL VPN (optional)
- EPA scans (optional)
- Load balancing of Storefront servers (optional)
- Configure policy for Group extraction (optional)
- Configure High Availability (optional)
• Setup up policy for iOS and/or Android devices with Citrix Receiver.
• Test and verify configuration – services and functionality
