The Ciena 5170 Service Aggregation Switch addresses the increasing need for high-bandwidth services at the edge of the network. It is purpose-built to provide seamless MEF-compliant L2 and L3 services over a carrier-class, connection-oriented infrastructure. This switch operates using 4 x 100G QSFP28 ports, 40 x 10/1G SFP+ ports and 2 x slots AC or DC PSU.
