Engineered to be compatible with your Apple system, Crucial Memory for Mac takes the guesswork out of a memory upgrade. Since Apple systems often have very specific memory requirements, including particular component densities, speeds, and SPD programming specifications, it's important to buy your memory from people who know Apple computers inside and out. With over a decade of experience manufacturing and developing memory for Apple systems, Crucial makes it easy to find memory that's been designed specifically for your system.

If you're an Apple computer user, you probably expect intuitive, reliable performance from your system. Crucial thinks memory should work the same way, too. For each module it manufactures, Crucial sends it through a rigorous testing process to ensure that you're getting a reliable, high-performance memory solution. Every module that leaves the doors has been extensively tested at the component level for voltage and temperature resistances, signal integrity, and software compatibility. Even better, Crucial modules are lead and halogen-free (DDR3 modules only). The result? Reliable memory that meets or exceeds Apple's own memory requirements.

Unsure how to install memory or have an important question about your Apple system? Let the team of experts help! With a tech-savvy team that's well-versed in Apple systems, Crucial will provide the technical support you need - no matter how old your Mac computer gets. From phone support, videos, FAQ articles, and do-it-yourself guides, Crucial has got the resources you need to keep your system up to speed.

Crucial is a trusted name when it comes to DRAM, and that's no coincidence. As a brand of Micron, one of the largest manufacturers of DRAM in the world, Crucial works with its engineers to design, refine, test, manufacture, and support an extensive line of memory modules. With a product portfolio that includes more than 250,000 different DRAM upgrades for more than 50,000 systems, Crucial has got one specifically designed for your Mac system. For more than a decade Crucial has kept Mac computer owners happy with high-performance memory and outstanding customer service. No matter what type of Mac system you have, Crucial has got a compatible solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not very happy with my purchaseSeveral dozen attempts, procedures and well over on hour with Tech Support could not get all 4 of the memory sticks to operate in conjunction. Was left with only the ability to use 2 of the memory sticks which were barely able to improve performance beyond the memory chips that cam with my unit. Switching slots and various combinations only resulted in the ability to use just two of the addition memory regardless of the position of the slots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, and works right.Works perfectly, much cheaper than memory directly from Apple. Just got it, so I can't speak for durability, but past purchases from Crucial are still running just fine, three and five years after I installed them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fully Compatible with 27" 2013 iMacThis memory was fully compatible with my 27" 2013 iMac!!! Works great!! After researching this memory, it showed to be fast, as fast as any other memory or faster. Did a mem check on the iMac and it showed to be fully functional. I bought 2 8gb sticks because apple said they should be in pairs of 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First set bad, but promptly replaced with quality chipsBought two of these 8GB chip upgrades for my iMac couple of years ago and they were perfect. Bought two more and although the computer recognized the increase in memory to 32GB no program would run. Everything "beach balled". Immediately contacted Crucial and they provided a return and a replacement. Replacement is perfect.
