It was RAM. You plug it in and it works. It's hard to review RAM unless you're a serious benchmark geek. If it fits in the slot and is recognized by the OS, you're done.

Really improved speed in my old HP desktop. Which I especially needed for video editing. It wasn't a day to night difference in speed but defiantly noticeable. When compared to buying a new computer its a win.

The memory works fine, however the fact is I had to buy it because Dell didn't return a the memory upgrade that was in the computer when I sent it in for repair. If you upgrade memory in your computer, take it out before you send it to Dell for repair.
