The charger doesn't fit in my laptop, and so it's useless. Lots of money down the drain. I really wish the information given on the website and on the box was correct.

I love how it still uses the cable between the wall and the brick like the design the E series (flat with blue plug ring power adapters have and not the design I hate where the charger is plugged directly into the wall like they did with the Dell 3-Prong AC Adapter - 65 Watt, Dell part #332-1831. I really hope that in future renditions they'll stick with this tried and true "in-line" design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible The device was not compatible with my computer. However you were able to plug it in and it *seems* like it works. It isn't until you try charging and get some error messages from your computer that you realize it doesn't work. I need to return it.

It fits easily in small interior pocket in my laptop bag, works well with my laptop, and has an LED light to show power is coming through. Wish it didn't require the brick part but it's still far smaller than the standard adapter I keep plugged in at home.

Compatibility chart says "yes, compatible" It is not and cannot get a chat person or telephone rep to help with locating the correct adapter. Frustrating..and I waited two extra weeks for the wrong product to be shipped. Beware of the Compatibility Charts !

The compatible list on Dell"s order site lists both the M4600 and M6500 as compatible. The new, slim adapter will not power either note. and is 1/2 oz. lighter that a PA10. I must admit I do like the way the cord wraps around the adapter.

The connection into my computer is quite loose also. For the price, I thought it would be just like my last one, but this is what the product specialist recommended on the phone when I needed help finding which one to buy to fit my laptop.

My computer crashes constantly, runs slowly, etc. when using this adapter. It's fine with my original adapter or when on battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice new design on Dell AC Adapters The price is a little higher than the generic chargers out there, but the sleek design makes it well worth it. The light at the PC end is perfect and the size weight is very acceptable. This 90 Watt adapter works with all of the Latitudes in my care. I think I miss the rubber band that held the cords together on the old chargers better, but I like the rounded edges on the new design. The clip on the PC side cord isn't strong enough to hold the cord on the AC side when you wrap everything up. I really like the right angle approach on the cord on the PC side. Dell used to have a similar right angle adapter on the AC side. Seems like I'm trading one broken strain relief and the PC side for a broken strain relief on the AC side. For some reason, users won't unplug the 3 hole plug from the AC adapter so it ends up stuffed in a case and it gets broken. Right Angle strain relief on both end is the key.

THE LIGHTED BARREL PLUG IS HANDY, EASY TO FIND. IT CAME WITH THE WALL PLUG , EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT SPECIFIED IN THE DESCRIPTON. THE ORIGINAL POWER ADAPTER WAS 65W , BUT THEY WERE OUT OF THOSE. THE ORIGINAL PLUG LASTED 10 YEARS BEFORE THE WIRE FRAYED AT THE BARREL PLUG.
