Great little laptop short on memory and storage space
Nice little laptop, but I should have upgraded to 8G of memory and larger hard drive option. Limited storage prevents windows upgrades and slows performance. The screen is not nearly as clear as my previous acer. Great price, but should have spent a little more for upgrades. Okay if you upgrade.

Memory makes all teh difference
Bought a basic laptop and was quite frustrated with its performance. Added the 4 Gig of ram and it is a screamer.

Better performance improvement than expected
The memory upgrade greatly improved the laptop performance. Installing was more involved than expected.

Not compatible with my laptop
When I ordered a memory upgrade, I expected it to come installed. I was surprised when it was shipped separately. But, I figured it wouldn't be a big deal to install it. However, I discovered that the laptop does not have an additional memory slot. The memory slot it does have already has a 4GB memory in it. By the time I was able to talk to Dell about this, they said it was too late to return it. I thought I was ordering a laptop with 8GB of ram. The customer service person I spoke with was difficult to understand and did not try to help me. I like my laptop, but I am disappointed that I spent money on extra memory that I can't use, and now I can't get my money back, either..

MEMORY UPGRADE
MEMORY UTILIZATION REMAINS THE SAME. DON'T KNOW WHAT'S CHEWING IT UP.SOMETHING MUST BE RUNNING IN THEBACKGROUND, IMO? WILL FOLLOW UP WITH TECH SUPPORT SHORTLY. ALSO, YOUR CHIP READS 2666MHZ BUT THE BIOS AND DOCUMENTATION READ 2400MHZ.
