Dell EMC VNX Control Station - control processor

The Control Station is a 1 U self-contained server, and is used in unified and file configurations. The Control Station provides administrative access to the X-Blades; it also monitors the X-Blades and facilitates failover in the event of an X-Blade runtime issue.

It also provides network communication to the storage processor; it uses ARP to enable communication over the Control Station management Ethernet port to the storage processor's own IP address.
