Rated 5 out of 5 by from High tech mouse! This mouse is extremely easy to use - it's exactly how it's described plug and play. I have been a Dell consumer for quite some time and knew this product would not be disappoint and I was correct. The design of the mouse is different than other mice that I have seen and it makes it very comfortable in your hand. I'm loving the fingerprint technology for ease of use and security. I can lock my kids out of the computer as it only accepts my fingerprint! As far as the way the mouse works - it's comparable to all others - it glides easily where I maneuver it and I haven't had any problems with ease of use.

Thr fingerprint reader is very sensitive and functions well. The length of the cord is appropriate. Overall, I do love this product and will continue to use it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs to be more user friendly When I received my wired mouse with fingerprint reader I was really excited. The issue I have with it is that when I first tried to set it up it wouldn't recognize the fingerprint and I had a bit of a hard time setting it up. Maybe it was user error, not sure. I prefer a mouse without this extra. Others in the house complain that they can't use the computer!! I think it would be best used for a system that is used only by one person and you need the added security.

I stumbled upon this mouse by accident, but I am so glad I did. I can log into my computer from the rest of my finger. I really hope they make a wireless version for my laptop! Very easy to install, pretty much plug and play. The arch is a little weird to get used to, but you do. Thanks for a great product!

However it works great and I have used both the wired and wireless version of the new design. However I love the wired design as the easy login with the the touch of the fingerprint sensor is nice. I am using the wired version at home and at work as I love it so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and Security I love the shape of this mouse. It is arched to fit very comfortably in your hand and makes navigating a breeze. It doesn't lag or drag and is very smooth. The fingerprint encryption is such a great feature and is FIDO compliant which basically means your identity, data and device are safe and secure. It moves effortlessly on my mouse pad and the wire is the perfect length. It is also very quick and easy to set up which is definitley a plus.

This Dell mouse is extremely comfortable to use because of the Arc shape. It offers a nonslip grip on the bottom of the mouse and also on the wheel that you use to navigate on a page. Set up was easy and quick. My absolute favorite besides the comfort is the fingerprint reader. I get tired of always having to remember passwords so this is a great secure feature. The little quick start up guide will help to quickly set your mouse up so you will be ready in no time at all to use it. I highly recommend this mouse to those who spend alot of time on their computers. It really does make things easier and more comfortable

I then read through the simple directions, which showed me easily how to set up the fingerprint recognition through Windows Hello Setup. It's very sleek, easy to use and comfortable to hold. I'm so happy I got this mouse, I finally found a simple way to secure my computer. I would defiantly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to navigate I really like the feeling of this mouse. It doesn't lag when trying to navigate on websites and click on links. I really like how arched it is in my palm- it's a feature of a mouse you won't know your missing until you use one. I like the fingerprint technology - I feel safer signing in to pay my bills. This is FIDO compliant. Really easy on set up. The instructions are really easy- it's about 6 small steps. Dell products are awesome!

I took it out of its packaging, plugged it into my laptop and that was it. My mouse was ready for use. It works really great to. I used the arm of the couch as my mouse pad and had no issues. The instructions for using the fingerprinter reader were very easy to follow. They made it very simple and easy to set it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ergonomics You can have the best computer in the world but without a good mouse (keyboard and monitor, you’ll grow to hate it. After a long search, I’ve finally found the perfect mouse. It has a very high profile making it ultra-comfortable to use for long computer sessions. It has had a lot of the bulk removed too so it’s not overly heavy or clunky. Unlike wireless mice, this one doesn’t have to be recharged or have batteries replaced and it’s very responsive. The subtle addition of fingerprint reader is what really sold me on this model. It’s out of the way when you don’t need it but a simple touch unlocks my Windows 10 computer. Brilliant!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Idea! So once I got this mouse in the mail I installed it on my computer at work. The insulation was very easy, pretty much just plug and go. Setting up the fingerprint reader was easy as well. It’s a nice way to feel secure while using stuff at work I wouldn’t want other people to have access to. It also makes logging in and getting into specific websites a breeze!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why doesn't this have a left-side button (for "Back" actions)?? This device is missing a left-side ("Back" button; the mouse isn't so useful without that. Could be OK for basic PC use, or if you really don't like side-buttons. Otherwise, maybe look for a dedicated USB fingerprint reader instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fingerprint Sensor for Windows This is a convenient and reasonable way to get a fingerprint sensor on a Windows computer. But: 1. the mouse is missing Forward/Back buttons (a large omission, and 2. the fingerprint sensor periodically stops working after a Windows update, requiring the device driver to be manually deleted and re-installed to get it working again The sensor is fast and super reliable, compared to more-modern sensors built into the front of phones, and can work not only for Windows Login, but for other authentication, such as 1Password.

If you lift the mouse for a slit second while moving it around, the pointer would freeze for 15 to 20 seconds. This was very annoying. The finger print reader would only work to log into the administrator user. I did all of the drivers update to the computer and to the mouse without any results. Maybe I just happen to get a bad unit.
