Unfortunately when I received the computer case it did not fit my laptop. So I'm unable to use the product. But as far as quality, the bag is great. It's made of very sturdy material, it has many useful pockets and a very comfortable shoulder handle. I'd definitely buy another if it fit my laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not For G7 15 This item was shown as compatible for a new G7 15" but it does not fit! The computer will slide snuggly into the sleeve, but will NOT zip closed. Having said that, the sleeve is made well and it has a nice liner. My average rating is for making this item available as a suitable sleeve (via dropdown for a computer it won't actually accomodate. It would be a great sleeve for a smaller unit. Now for the good part, Dell refunded me for the purchase price, insisted I do not have to return the unit and provided a part number of a sleeve they insist WILL fit....at a lower price! So even though the seeve is not compatible, Dell has demonstrated to me their committment to customer satisfaction.

The bag itself seems durable, if not a little slim, it was obviously made for thin and light laptops or notebooks. If you are looking at this bag for your own laptop, consider the size of the laptop, and how much you want to carry with it, as it doesn't give you much room for say a power adapter or much wlse.

I guess the G7 is thicker than most laptops, so the case does not close over it and it feels like a tight squeeze as it is... Just wanted to add this review to prevent others from being mislead in the same way. The construction of the bag seems nice enough though.

Even though the sleeve says it fits up to 15.6", it does not fit 15.6" x .98". Also the laptop is a tad deeper than the bag, so even if I managed to get it in, some of it would have been sticking out, and finally the thickness would have rendered the outside pockets unusable. The sleeve is otherwise nice, but will not work for this laptop. Do NOT trust it because it's suggested as an add-on to purchase.

The bag is certainly slim; with a laptop and power cord/adapter in the pocket, you will be hard-pressed to fit anything else in here (a few pens and a cell phone, that's about it).

When I tried it out, after putting my mouse in the bag and power cord, it was very tight and bulky. So I tried the 15.6" sleeve with mouse and cord and it's much better to carry around at the airport and in public. It's not too tight and is very thin to carry. Love it.

There are far too few few pockets for things like the power charger, wireless mouse, a few discs, and the usual range of whatnots. While I wasn't looking for an attache case, I didn't expect a sandwich bag, either. Only hope it is as good at protecting the computer as it is in excluding stuff you usually need.

It is lightweight but I still feel it adds protection to my laptop. I like the shoulder strap better than the two handles for carrying the bag. My only issue is that if you like to use a mouse instead of the pad there is not much storage room to carry the mouse. If you are fine with the track pad then you will not have this issue.

There does seem to be a lot of padding and good support though, so as long as you’re looking to have it in a nice place and you don’t intend on moving it around a lot you should be fine.

Logic would dictate that it should fit in a 16" bag, right? Nope. Why? Because at 0.98" this bag is not high enough. The G15 is is 1.06" high making it impossible to close the bag's zipper even with the storage pockets empty. Dell's website is misleading and the company is splitting hairs by putting this info in the fine print. It's bad customer service and annoying. This was just a waste of my time and money.

Mcafee causes problems to software installations and slow down the system. The g15 series has many selections and it is very easy to be confused in order to pick the right one.

While I know the more you add the more bulky it becomes, my point is to just say that this is really good for just taking the laptop with you and relying on the battery itself and nothing else. It is nice and sleek for sure, just don't add a lot of other things and you will be good.
