Very Nice Monitors
Monitors arrived in timely manner in good condition. They set up pretty easily and look fantastic! Used for CAD and other office programs. HDMI and DP inputs, no DVI or VGA inputs.

Great monitor, bad driver/software support
The monitor itself is great. Unfortunately the driver support is very outdated at this time. The monitor has trouble coming back from sleep (not hibernation) after a period of time. I also have them daisy chained and sometimes when it comes back from sleep the daisy chained monitor has to be turned on/off. On top of this, the Dell monitor software that comes optional to configure the monitor settings causes system crashing and instability - had to uninstall it. This monitor seemed very rushed to market.

Ok monitor—Awful sales support
It is a nice monitor but does not match the optiplex computer I bought, which was my primary request. Different size, different shade of silver. They should have just said there was not one that matched to purchase for my second monitor. Customer service is all apparently in Asia now. I miss talking to people in America.

Poor Panel Quality
Unfortunately there is a lack of 16:10 monitors in the marketplace and while I'm glad Dell still offers this ratio, this particular monitor, from a visual quality level, fails terribly.
I've had multiple Dell Ultrasharps in the U24 series and have always been pleased with them, they had good colors and detail and I still use them. My main monitor is a Dell UP3017. So I do know what Dell is capable of building and how they should look.
What I believe happened with the U2421E is that Dell switched suppliers of the panel to a cheaper one and this was a big mistake.
The new panel has poor colors and visual artifacts such as fine lines showing up in certain colors (think interlacing artifacts). It basically looks like a cheap laptop screen.
I went through the process of exchanging the monitor for another one and it still had the same issues. I finally returned the monitor for a refund. Luckily this process was pretty straightforward with Dell.
I do hope that Dell looks into this and decides to again make these monitors up to the quality standards they should be. Even if they had to charge a little more money.

Good monitor, but it could be better
Good monitor with 16x10 aspect ratio that is comfortable for work. Unfortunately Dell is not making high resolution monitors with this aspect ratio. Would be nice to have 22" or 24" or 27" monitors with 2560x1600 resolution.
On the downside of this monitor, I have to say that the bezels are bigger than a 4 yrs old monitor I bought from Dell, which is very disappointing, especially because I use several displays side by side, and small lateral bezels are very important for me. Also, the build quality is not as good as it was in comparison with previous generations (U2414, U2415, etc.)

Likes & dislikes with Dell monitor.
Beautiful screen. Fast response. Works with M1 MacBook Air. Some problems with waking up after I put computer on screenshot, or to sleep. Monitor does not come back on. Have to unplug and replug. Otherwise quite satisfied with it

I would not buy this model again.
Grainy text, uncrisp images, blurriness on video playback. Verified monitor settings, correct driver, and that monitor is not defective with Dell Technical Support. Used with USB-C cable on 2017 MacBook Pro.

Excellent Monitor
Excellent Monitor, Color, Pixel depth, forget 1900x1080, not really good for working with large spreadsheets, and multiple documents on same screen. This monitor and its predecessors have been the best since introduced. Now lighter. Have two used to provide large work area using separate apps on each screen or have multiple spreadsheets or multiple documents open to support analysis of data or comparison of documents. Recommended

I am addicted to 16:10 screens!!!
This is my fifth Dell 24" 16:10 screen. My first one was purchased maybe 10 years ago and my parents have that one for daily use. They are in their upper 80's and read daily digital news papers every day with it. I have two monitors side by side at work that are used 6 days a week. They have some years on them but I love them compared to the 16:9 screens that my employer supplies my fellow workers. I bought my own monitors just for my satisfaction after using 16:9 screens. I upload images to online internet listings and do a lot of Excel spreadsheets. I just purchased a U2421E for home to finally set up a side by side for personal use. I have been looking at the 30" Dell 16:10 screens for several years as I wanted something bigger so I could have a spread sheet on one side and my online bank screen on the other side. Able to do this with my one 24" screen in Windows 10 but it was awkward and small. With the prices of the larger Dell 16:10 so high even with sales, I went with a second monitor. The color is very good and I do have a color calibrator at home as I do tweak photos for 16 X 20 prints. Lots of ports but I also have plenty of ports on my old Dell 8920 XPS desktop that still works great after 5 years. It cost manufacturers more to use 16:10 screens than 16:9 screens but I hope Dell keeps this model going for years. Very few 16:10 offerings.

Sharp Images But Flaky Connection
Images are sharp as promised but the screen occasionally goes dark like it’s rebooting. The connections are as tight as I can possibly insert them and I can’t find any new drivers that will fix that.

If you need 1920x1200 resolution, this is the monitor.
This monitor is definitely worth the money. I did plug and play, even though the included literature stated that it may need driver updates, and it worked perfectly. Beautiful, sharp display!

Missing items/poor customer service response
I received this monitor several weeks ago but have not been able to test it because of a missing power cord. I have reached out the customer service and they have been extremely slow to respond. Very disappointed to that I am missing items and with customer service- beware that support is extremely slow to respond and take action!

Versatile Monitor
Moving from a notebook computer, the UltraSharp Dell monitor is nice. It has lots of real estate to have multiple windows open so I can read from one document and type it onto another. The HUB is working great. I have a little speaker plugged in that daisy chains to ear buds and a mic. I also have a camera plug into the Hub in case I have to do one of those Zoom calls. My only wish is that I would have ordered the monitor that swivels horizontally.

Hard to find 16:10 Aspect Ratio
This monitor replaced a P2419H and while they are both IPS panels the U2421E has noticeably better color reproduction and deeper blacks.
Having the equivalent of a built-in dock is nice as long as your machine can work with 90W of power output. My Dell laptop really needs 130W to work properly so it downclocks a bit unless I also connect the charger.
I really wish Dell would make a version of this that could output the 130+ watts some of their higher end laptops need.
