This unit is so tough you can hang on it!
If you want an indestructible mount, this is it! If you can secure it properly to the wall it will work like a champ. It works for sitting, for standing and for just getting the monitor out of your way when you want to use the desk for something not requiring a monitor. I would recommend this unit for any size monitor from five pounds to a giant Apple all-in-one unit.

Much better than the competition
I have 3 of these in service now for 18 months, I was quite shocked at the high level of quality in them, especially after having used competitors solutions. These handle the weight easily, are easy to reposition, and are extremely sturdy (no vibration from speakers, desk translates into the display. The only reason easy of use is a 4 instead of a 5 is installation takes power tools & some familiarity with construction (most engineers can handle this fine as long as they realize these need to be planted into a stud).

Ergotron arm
The arm was much heavier-duty than I expected. We like it alot. It was much more difficult to install into the wall than anticipated, but everything else was a cinch.

Easy to put together, hard to figure out the right height
Fairly easy to install (in terms of actually putting everything together), but it required quite a bit of thinking and guesswork to make sure I was mounting it at the correct height, etc. It would have been helpful to have a clearer guide on the correct height to install for a sit-stand desk setup.

Works great for flexible Positioning
The LX Sit-Stand Wall Arm worked out well for my application. It is extremely flexible for positioning for working at my desk or for watching TV on my 27-inch computer monitor.

saved my built in desk
I love working on stand up desk but I have a built in desk and did not want to add another desk in the small home office room. Although expensive this works fantastic allowing work from sitting or standing Gambled on it and was not totally sure that it would work, but it exceeded my expectations. Very solid and quality product. Highly recommended
