Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buy this monitor I bought this monitor as a 2nd monitor for my office as I brought the one I was originally using at my office home earlier in the year when I was strictly working from home. Now that I am back in the office 1 or 2 days a week, I needed a 2nd monitor. I have the exact same setup as I did before, using a docking station for my surface. I never had problems with my last monitor but this one keeps going black on me. Trying to do zoom meetings is getting nearly impossible. It will indicate that there is no input when clearly there is. I would recommend you not buy this monitor. I should have taken it back to staples when I first bought it but I probably have little recourse now. I'll just eat it and buy another non HP monitor

Love the crisp picture. I also have bought two for my oldest daughter and one for my youngest daughter. We all love the fact that the picture is clear and the easy set up and hook up.

I have purchased around 110 of these and so far only one has had an issue right out of the box and one has a line down the screen which happened outside of the 1 year warranty. I like that it comes with an HDMI cable. I also love that it is Vesa mount compatible since so many monitors aren't now days which makes no sense at all. We mount probably 95% of our monitors.

When I turned the brightness down, the high pitched noise began. It was really loud from brightness level 30-85...only quiet at 0 & 100%. Probably sending these back.

I have had to incur additional expense of hiring an IT person and purchase additional cable. I provided both model and serial number to the sales person who promised the item ordered would be compatible. Because the monitor is not working on my end, I cannot provide input as to performance and features.

I thought it was going to be smaller but I love it and I'm glad I got that size. It is perfect for the work I am doing. It was easy to hoop-up and had it running in no time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from decent monitor at a decent price This does what I wanted it to do, that is, be a nice-sized screen for my laptop. However, it will not stand up completely straight. It tilts back at an adjustable angle but that angle will not hit 90° to the desk.

I have only a couple of quibbles: 1) apparently there is no actual manual available, even though it said on the quick start instructions that one could be obtained through the HP web site. A rather annoying customer service agent questioned why I would need this, which begs the question of why you would tell me there is one where there isn't. Just like to understand all the finer points of the features. 2) The controls are on the back, reached by putting your fingers under the front panel; hard to use and not particularly intuitive, in fact really retro IMO. Four stars for the quality of the view and value.

In my 25 plus years of IT career life, I have deployed thousands of them ,and I cannot remember the last time I was disappointed by them. That's the main reason I was the driving force behind the idea of using them in my career company. I would always recommend them to any other IT department that's looking for reliability. I encourage HP to keep up the great work of providing awesome products to the IT world which can reduce headache for us IT technicians.

Only issue was after Win 10 configured, my interaction with online training required a CTRL-F2, which brought up a monitor feature that I could not get around. I had to use the CTRL-F2 and CTRL-F1 often. After some rapid closing, I lost the monitor altogether. Display settings was not offering a solution. I shut down, disconnected the monitor, booted, connected and got them back up, but now my 22" and 24" are considered the same size in Display settings. Its a minor inconvenience, but I'd like to have them both work as before. Otherwise, I like both my HP monitors.

I opted for twin HP 24yh 23.8 displays to go along with my workbook on a docking station. WOW! The difference is amazing! I can now close my workbook and use the twin displays to see spreadsheets side by side or craft an email while pulling numbers from a spreadsheet. And the ease on my eyes is noticeable after even the first day. Should have done this long ago. Thanks HP for making this a bundle, and helping my office be more productive.

While the display quality has been as expected, it is the display base that has been an issue. If kept on a flat surface, it seems to lean forward. I have had to squeeze in paper under the front of the base to get the screen to be vertical. While I understand the display does not come with any adjustability, I am a little disappointed that the angle at which this is fixed is a bad angle to begin with. In addition to that, the connection between the display and the base has a lot of play in it. If I thump by hand on the table, the screen wobbles. I can even push the screen up and down at the corners without any effort. This could have been a more stable and an ergonomically better monitor at the same price point.

It works well with a simple lightning to hdmi adapter with my 2010 MacBook Pro. It’s light and does not waste any space with the bezel tucked on the bottom and nearly edge to edge display. Only improvement would be to add another one!

I had originally bought a diffent brand monitor had it for one day worked great and the second day it worked for maybe an hour then went black then white and flickering with a white screen. I tried everything to including new wires and nothing helped. I returned it and ordered the HP which actually was cheaper than the first. So far I have had the monitor for almost three weeks now and I couldn't be happier with it. It is wonderful thing to be able to look at my screen and be able to get my work done with no stress oh my screen flashing. HP is the best!!

I was looking forward to a new display for improved color, quality, energy efficiency, etc. I found all those things and more in the new display. Monitor has shipped but the computer is still being assembled...was kinda hoping for a quicker ship date on the lap top.....I can't help but wonder if I should have gone to a local store and purchased everything at one time.

SHE WENT ON LINE AND SPOKE TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP AND DID WHAT THEY TOLD HER TO AND STILL NOT WORKING. NOW THEY SENT HER A LONG LIST OF THINGS TO TRY AGAIN AND SHE NEEDS A CASE NUMBER. WHY DID THEY NOT SET ONE UP SHE FIRST CONTACTED THEM. SHE IS VERY FRUSTRATED

No where in your description of this product did you indicate Server. The 2 TB HD had the C partition set to 2 GB while the D partition used the remaining disk space. So when loading Apps you must place them on the D drive.

She’s doing college remotely because of the pandemic and she wanted a second monitor to make doing her homework easier. She hooks it up to her laptop and uses both at her desk, it’s the perfect size and is big enough so it’s easier on the eyes but not too big that it gets in her way. It was delivered exactly on time and in perfect condition right as her classes began!

Please try to incorporate them, simple and if you add a few dollars people will pay for the convenience, especially now when so many working from home. I cannot wait to see how it comes out, thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Monitor didn't work. I bought this monitor and a desktop PC and didn't have a good experience The monitor didn't work. It was "ON" because the blue light was ON, but there was no image, just a black screen. I have to returned it to a Walmart store and wait for the refund. The PC came with a broken keyboard and looks like one of the 4MB memory is damaged. I replaced both, because I didn't want to returned the PC as I needed it. I am a fan of the HP items but it looks like it was a 3rd party issues.

There is power running to the device but it will not come on. I am very disappointed as I need to use this instead of looking at my MacBook Air small screen.
