I bought this in my first year of college and all I have to say is I'm utterly disappointed with this laptop. From the inside out this model is crap. Everyone i know who has the PC of the same make experienced hinge problems in less than six months after purchase. I would not recommended this device to anyone, it's a waste of money!

Horrible!
This was a college gift from a relative and let me just say: I HATE this laptop.
Here I am, 2-3 years down the line having the WORST experience I’ve ever had with technology EVER. This piece of garbage updates EVERY THREE BUSINESS SECONDS and for what?!?! To function slightly worse than it did before???
As I type this, I’ve been waiting for my laptop to reboot itself for about 30 minutes now. As if the seven hours it took to update last night wasn’t enough for it to work out it’s kinks, none of my applications open.
The time it takes for me to log into the computer is enough time to watch the first season of robot chicken. I’ve replaced the battery on this thing and it still does not function properly. I’ve had it. This cheap piece of garbage is not worth your money. Save your time and energy (AND MONEY!) for a much better piece of equipment that’ll last.
I’ve now scrapped this piece of junk metal and am awaiting my MacBook to come in. DO NOT BUY!

I bought this laptop because the picture and the specs. stated it had a dvd driver. It does not. That is what I needed.

Admittedly I’ve had this laptop for about 2-3 years now, but I’ve probably put another $200 into repairing it throughout using it. I’ve had to replace the fan and the battery twice, switched out the keyboard because keys stopped working, and the left hinge completely snapped to the point where I can’t do anything to fix it. Even after I fixed the fan it would constantly fall out of place and make a horrible sound whenever I turned the computer on, and it’s so fragile that even putting it down can cause some of the plastic case to chip or snap off completely. Sure it’s not a horrible computer, but it’s so flimsy and breakable that it’s not worth it to spend all the money just to put so much more into fixing what breaks over and over again.
