I think it lasted me 1-2 months or probably 100 pages. I ended up buying a replacement black ink cartridge with a higher capacity cartridge, so I wouldn’t have to replace it as often.

I was really dreading a trip to Walmart because of all the Coronado requirements to enter the store. Then I realized I could get the ink directly from hp. I looked up the website, found my required size of ink cartridge and placed the order. The price was equivalent with buying it at a store. The ink arrived in three days and hp provided a mailing envelope to return the expired cartridge. Couldn't be a better way to acquire new ink cartridges.

Tried to get assistance no help since over the weekend. Finally ordered new cartridge even InstantInk said there was plenty of ink. Took over a week to get the new cartridge. Solved all issues after a total of 2 weeks. Not good since InstantInk we suppose Make it smooth sailing.

Normal use only about 40-50 sheets before saying low ink and ink started messing up on paper. only black ink used with words (newsletter). This ink cartridge say up to 200 sheets. Not true! Thought maybe it was the cartridge but before this one I purchased one from Best buy and same thing did get about 80 sheets which is far from the 200 sheets it says. So two cartridges used and still not 200 sheets used. You really don’t know if the cartridges are really full or not. Both cartridges were hp brand not refurbished.

When we purchased our new HP PRINTER, we were offered a special package having to do with automatic refills being sent to our home for $4.99 a month. We did join the club, and were told that when the ink started getting low in our printer, it would automatically be mailed to us. I even signed into my account to check on when it was to be mailed, because our printer was warning us that the ink was getting very low. IT RAN OUT COMPLETELY! I had to sign into HP, and actually order the ink, and had to wait a week for it to be delivered. Very unhappy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An ongoing issue with a great product I bought this ink cartridge directly from HP after having to return the exact same HP 64 cartridge to Best Buy because my HP Envoy printer rejected it (with the dreaded improper cartridge loading message - which in my experience indicates the Printer has decided that the cartridge is unauthorized by HP). In my view HP is so obsessed with detecting counterfeit Ink cartridges that their printers sometimes reject their own genuine product. This can be a real inconvenience to those of us who do not buy off-brand cartridges yet still get penalized.

Lets build a cheap printer that is going to fail before the trial cartages run out of ink and if by some miracle it does last 3 months let make about 30 different types of cartages and to only make things that much better lets price the ink 10 times more than the printer cost. However, I have three charges on my credit card from HP and the only thing I purchased was this ink. Trying to get through to someone is almost impossible

However when I reset my ink cartride and filled more paper I kept getting a pop up interring with other webpictures. I had to clear decline over and over. I finally figured how to fix this in seetings, but it was hard to find this info and navigate...and with covid unable to get with a real person to help me. over all I like this printer and its features.

I know the Virus is always the excuse. Also, the ink didn't appear in my mail box the next day, but several days later. I know the Christmas rush was their excuse.

I don't print stuff every day and I have found that the ink fades or the cartridge dries out and when I print a test page the ink is streaky and fading. I have to clean the cartridge to get it back to normal but it does the same thing again after a couple days. Would love to talk to an actual person about this! I should add that the color ink is fine, it's just the black that is the problem.

Cartridges don't seem to last very long in terms of copies. Having not printed a lot of copies, the cartridge runs out after only fewer than 50 copies. I wish cartridges would last longer. Went back to online and finally was able to order my ink. Which I must buy because if I don't buy HP ink my printer won't work. I thought when I purchased the printer I owned it, however, it won't work unless I purchase HP ink. I will never buy another HP product.

I did the cleaning bit again to no avail, then tried cleaning with a damp q-tip as some website instructed, but each successive test result was worse than the previous one.

I then installed 64 XL for both B&W and Color. But now after less than 10 pages, it is not printing again. If the ink dried out, why it printed a few pages, I don't understand. I use another HP printer that works much better than this one and even the regular ink lasts much longer than this one. I am so disappointed

I finally bought a direct hook up line and now I can print stuff after I re_ boot the printer every time. I'm no geniouse, but this printer has been a headache from the start!!!!

I constantly have to clean the cartridge then it will be fine for a short time then go back to fading again. This has happened with the 3 cartridges I have bought so far. Not at all happy with it.

Help was on the way as soon as I selected the cartridges I wanted! Paid by credit card, EASY!! My copies look good now & hubby is glad his cougar picture is clear & bright!

I constantly have to clean the cartridge then it will be fine for a short time then go back to fading again. This has happened with the 3 cartridges I have bought so far. Not at all happy with it.

When I opened it, the inside foil package was cut open and the ink cartridge was clearly used with the protective tape half pulled off and black ink smeared all over it. I went through all the troubleshooting on the HP mobile app and the cartridge was still a dud. I even installed the old cartridge to make sure that was the issue and the printer accepted it with no issue. I would like a new cartridge or my money back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed It didn’t print; at first I assumed I must have mistakenly put the old cartridge back in the printer, but in thinking about it, I don’t believe that’s what happened, since I reconstructed the process exactly. In any case I have to buy another cartridge. I called HP to discuss the experience and customer service was not helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Prints about 50 pages This cartridge is sold as being able to print 200 pages and it's not accurate. This cartridge's life expectancy has to be the worst I have ever seen and it runs out of ink at all the wrong times. The print quality is very nice. I am looking needing to buy a new black ink cartridge monthly as a result because who knows when the ink will run out. The printer and HP notes cartridges aren't reliable to report current ink volumes so it's always a guessing game. HP hasn't had the higher volume cartridges available since late 2021. I guess they're forcing everyone to do this monthly subscription or always run out of ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP 64 black ink cartridge I noticed I was getting low on my black toner and ordered on the HP site. It arrived promptly and working perfectly. I don't print many things or I would subscribe to the timed delivery service. Ordering too far in advance can backfire as there is a shelf life to these things.

Cost more then our printer but we always go through HP because all inks are expensive. Wish there was more life to the cartridges as they seem to run low easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a rip-off My HP Envy 7155 printer gave an error message that the cartridge was not communicating with the printer. After doing everything the FAQ said (e.g., rebooting, cleaning the contacts, etc.), the printer said to buy new cartridges. I bought a couple of new HP-brand cartridges and still have the exact same problem. HP gave absolutely zero customer support. It was all a total waste of money, so I'll just buy another brand of printer.

It's getting too expensive ordering inks from HP or buying them from Stapels. What could be the matter??

Return was easy but I had no way to print the return label they emailed me. Catch 22. BYW, Fedex offices don’t print in Hilton Head…had to go to the library.

I guess I don’t use the printer often enough. This is so disappointing, as it’s now my third set of cartridges, and perhaps a few dozen pages or photos printed.

I will cancel payment on my credit card. I've sent hp emails and have had no replies. I wasn't given a tracking number. On scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst, I give you a 10.
