Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the bargain brands by far! I've tried so-called "bargain" brand toners, but they are inconsistent in quality of printing and don't last as long as the HP toner. I buy the 2-pack to save a little on the price per cartridge. I miss having the return mailing instructions for recycling the used cartridges. I guess I need to go to the HP site to find out how to recycle the empty cartridges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far the Cartridge is printing perfectly I used to get my laser ink cartridges from another company and had nothing but problems with them. i was always caling them to send me new cartridges. Witht the purchase directly through HP so far I have had no issues. No black streaks or blobs on my print copies and also no strange sound coming from my printer, I was never sure if it was my printer or the cartridge... I will purchase from HP again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cost less than a single butttttt We use about 4 78A's per month and about 4 cases of paper per month give or take a case. I am not sure if it is just a bum batch but the last 4 single toners have out lasted the last 2 double packs twice in a row. So my question that I cannot seem to get answered is do you get less tonner in a double pack?? It does cost less but it seems that you get what you pay for. We still love the product except for the toner price but will run more test and report back.

For the price I think they should last longer. We have to replace cartridges every two to three months in each printer (we have two) and that is only 1500 to 2000 pages per cartridge.

I'm thinking about switching printers becauce of it. This toner is not cheap and when you have to keep replacing it gets expensive. Please consider. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extend life of toner Buyers should be able to extend the life of their toner cartridges by clicking on the Lighter/ Darker button, then moving the black rectangle from the middle to the far left. Then clock "OK." This reduces the amount of toner put on the page, thereby extending the life of the cartridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spoof Sales of HP Ink? I recently ordered 4 78A cartridges for my HP LaserJet P1606dn. It is a superior printer and the large 78A cartridges are exellent. The PROBLEM I have with HP and their so-called sales is that the company website that is supposed to sell products frequently does NOT allow them to be selected for purchase. This has frequently happened when I have received email about sales or coupons for discount on HP ink. Most recently I received one of these TODAY! If you take the trouble to offer discounts, or even advertise new products PLEASE make sure that they can be purchased! For the record I have purchased six laptops from HP directly in the past 8 years and am using one right now.

I even tried the comparable toner a second time thinking that maybe I just got a "bad one". Sadly the second one worked like the first, badly. I will only buy HP toner from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelient cartridge I teach youth at our church and print a lot of things. I have a HP LaserJet 1606 and a HP Office Jet Pro 8600. By using the laserjet for reguler dociments and the ink jet for any that needs scains or has photos or the like I have an all around print shop. The ink is always a big issue with me since I pay for it myself. But with the HP printers it seems I get more copys per dollar than I did with other brand printers. I never tryed the off brand inks in my HP printers but did when I had other printers. Really messed up my printers.
