It's nice that the cost of printers have come way down but the cost of ink jet is exorbitant and within 3-4 months if you print color often you have paid twice what the printer cost just for ink.

After retiring, my printing volume is far less. I continue to use HP printers, but instant ink is not as worthwhile. I would certainly recommend HP printers and ink for both business and personal use. My only "complaint" is ... I purchased a new printer which was defective. It was replaced without a problem. Since the ink cartridges were practically new, I kept them to put in the replacement printer. As you know, cartridges that have been partially used are not accepted in the HP printer. I felt it was unfair that I must purchase new cartridges through no fault of my own.

Now I am going to have to purchase another printer as you cant get the replacement cartridges unless you want to pay over 150 and higher for the color ones. I wont be purchasing HP printers anymore. It was rather slow to arrive, and then the cyan cartridge was defective--the printer rejected it as "incompatible." There's not an obvious was to request an immediate replacement, so now I'm going through a rather onerous and slow return process. Might need to just go buy a new printer.

After speaking to your customer service representative and being advised that I would have to return the entire bundle and would have to continuously check your website to reorder the ink is unacceptable. I have never had any prior issues with any of my HP products but this situation has me irritated!!

On the HP automatic refill program I received substitute cartridges that do not even fit my printer. In the last three weeks I have purchased four sets of HP cartridges and still do not have a working set.

I know HP has had a recall on color cartridges but there is nothing on the website to alert customers or to allay any anxiety when one does receive flawed color cartridges. When I did alert them of the flawed package, HP did respond quickly but I still would appreciate something on their website to make people aware of their unfortunate situation as it relates to the color cartridges. Perhaps HP should seek out an American company to produce the cartridges.

I was also very happy with the swift delivery of the product. I was not happy however when I found the cyan cartridge was defective and would not work. And I was really disappointed with the fact that I could not reach anyone in the company (on phone and text) to get a replacement. I have since junked my printer and I'm looking to replace it with anything other than an HP. This will be very hard since this is the only brand printer (or computer) I have ever had. You have lost a very loyal customer with your very poor customer service.

Here is the error message I am receiving: "One or more og the cartridges is not intended for this printer" However, all other cartridges received in this same order worked (Black, Magenta and Yellow Jaune) - Not either of the 2 Cyan cartridegs though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cyan not working, but got great support from HP Cyan was not available in XL, so I bought this multi-pack on the HP site. Like many of the 1-star reviews, I replaced a depleted Cyan cartridge but the printer said it was not compatible. I immediately called support, got someone on the phone pretty quickly and they diagnosed the Cyan problem as an issue they were trying to fix and are overnighting me a new one. Great resolution considering the situation. They also mentioned that Yellow may not work...unfortunately, I just replaced Yellow with an XL and have no desire to take it out and waste a ton of ink just to see if Yellow in the multipack works. So now, I get to wait until I need to replace Yellow to see if it works. I am already not thrilled with the printer (since it wastes so much ink whenever the printer gets ready to print)...to add this on top, just further reduces the likelihood of me buying another HP. If they really wanted me to be more satisfied, ideally they could have tracked who they mailed ink to and sent me cartridges proactively. or in this case, could have just sent me a Yellow cartridge with the Cyan. Oh well, sounds like I may be in a bind in a few months when I need to replace the Yellow. Ink is not cheap, so I am playing this one by ear on my next steps.

I went online, followed the advice to go through a bunch of “turn off, unplug, remove, wait 15 minutes, etc.” for an hour. It cannot print because it doesn’t recognize one color. So no, no more hp for me,

I had to buy a second set to get the correct set, essentially costing me 2 times the normally high cost of the cartridges. HP printers use too many different types of cartridges and they cost almost 1/2 the price of the printer.

I suppose it's a type of art as I've come up with some pretty cool stuff. One of the main things I've been into lately is using filters to make my modern photographs look "old timey". I have been pretty successful in doing this to the point where people have wanted copies of some of the photos I've done. That's where the HP 910 Black Ink Cartridges come in. The richness this ink adds to the blacks and grays in my photo prints has been incredible. The finished printed product looks like it does on my computer screen! Another feature I've noticed is that this ink has really lasted a long time. I've been printing off these pictures for just about everyone I know and I'm still working on the same cartridge. Buy some. You won't be disappointed.

The colors are bright and bold. The ink is easy to install and there is never a mess. The ink always seem s to last much longer than you think when the low ink indicator is activated. I recommend HP ink to all my friends and family. Its worth the price for the quality of the print it provides

The last inkjet I had was a different brand and constantly ran out of ink and printed streaky. Since I started using my HP Inkjet with HP Printer Ink I'm so happy! The pages print so clearly, full of vibrant color and no streaks! I also notice they don't smudge like my others used to. That was so frustrating. This ink was very simple to setup in the printer, I was printng within 5 minutes. I do a lot of printing for school, crafting and just everyday stuff. I love the way my pages come out now!

I was in the middle of a big presentation so I ordered these 910 cartridges for overnight delivery. They showed up super quickly the next day. My presentation is crisp and clean and sharp. My graphs are colorful and vivid. The HP genuine ink didn't break the bank and I really think the xxl that I bought will last a long time! I will use that to print most things and then save the color for when I really need it on important documents and proposals. Overall, this is a win. I'm really happy with my purchase and the performance of this ink.

I have not printed more than 100 pages and the color prints did not print correctly. There were streaks of miscolored printing and a push to purchase a ink package so soon. The printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8020. I can say the ink was received timely.

I love the 4 pack, because I only need to replace the empty one and not the whole thing because one color ran out. It is much less wasteful. They are easy to get to, just lift the main door of the device and it moves into tje center position to make getting to tje cartridges easy. Clip one out and clip the next one to not place, and tour done. So easy! No mess. The color is vibrant and dried fast leaving a streak free print. I recommend these to everyone.

I feel this is a hostage situation. Use their program and "pay" per their count of the sheets of paper or we will close down the ink and you cannot print. I am actively looking for a way to purchase ink for the lowest cost and will be actively looking to avoid the HP scheme.

My usual source was also out (Staples) the driver came here only to say the ink is on back order. The order from HP was a HUGE Mistake. When I opened the package and inserted the black cartridge, the bow tie symbol came up -my printer displayed the message this is depleted or not compatible. A waste of time and money.

It prints great, colors are beautiful, but trying to use advanced settings, change sizes, change types of paper, all of those are ridiculous. I would never buy another HP printer. This printer i got is terrible, paper jamming too many times and pulling in 2-3 sheets of paper at a time when printing. I have tried 5 different brands of copy paper and same results. When my ink runs out I will probably start looking at printers made by another company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 out of 4 On receipt of the product, I put all 4 cartridges in the printer but 2 of the cartridges (cyan and yellow) were rejected by the printer as being either damaged or defective so I sent them back to HP at the return address on the package they came in with a note explaining the reason why I was sending these 2 cartridges back. I paid $4.50 postage and as of this date (weeks later) I have yet to receive even an acknowledgment from HP. All I’m seeking is replacement cartridges that are not damaged or defective and are accepted by my HP printer. Next time I’ll purchase my cartridges from a retail store as the essence of wisdom is not being the same darn fool twice as I only got 2 out of 4 good cartridges but paid for 4 plus $Ed4.50 in return postage.

I find the pushiness of the printer to eat only HP ink a little annoying but NOTHING compared to how annoying internet connectivity was with the previous printer brand I had.

This printer and ink catridges were the worst investment I’ve ever bought because not only the printer break down, you can replace the printerhead manually, and ink is only good for 15 pages max. If you already bought the printer that uses this ink, my condolences.

Didn't print quite right the first time so ran again. Now magenta and cyan are reading low. Great junk cartridges HP <--- that's sarcasm if you missed it.

The ink can spill out onto your copier and yourself, they don't last as long as the real thing, and they are not of the same quality! I will only use the "real thing."

The black cartridge seems to have plenty of ink left in it. Whenever I try to order from HP the four pack is always Out Of Stock. I am disappointed as I won't buy them separately and pay a higher price for each. HP needs to get the four pack back into stock and I will purchase them at that time.

Lesson learned, don't buy Hp products. Definitely don't buy unless ready to install. Terrible customer service when you call as well. Time to look for a new printer that isn't HP.

Each time I have tried to link my printer with your server it tells me that it is not able to connect. Something is wrong with the process and no one seems to want to fix it as it is now three months since my first reporting of this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zero stars if I could I bought this trying to solve a printer head issue on a brand new printer, that I've all but printed three black ink only pages. Color ink wouldn't print. Machine kept telling me ink was low. I had the cartridges that came with the machine so I ordered new cartridges thinking my printer issues would be resolved. Installed these new cartridges and machine continued to print with faint ink and stripes of missing ink. Put machine through printhead cleaning a few times. By only doing this, machine notifies me that I am now low on color ink!! I have never been able to print a page with color in it. In addition, the black ink prints faded with sections missing. HP also terrorizes cuatomers having their machines send out threatening messages saying that counterfeit or refilled cartridges are detected. This was not the case for me, so it's very insulting to get these messages. Can a car company dictate to us what kind of oil or gas we can use? It's the same premise. They try to intimidate us into buying their useless cartridges. I hate this printer and will never buy HP again.

I had to get these online because HP had a recall, and was soldout at bricks and mortar. Maybe this cartridge should have been recalled. I've got 3 more colors to try. Limping through with my old one unit HP gets it figured out.
