Constently getting error messages when I try to print. I will buy a Canon printer that is much easier to connect to with my Lenovo PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Morass I have been prevented from using the hp 3755 printer at all, because my iPad will not recognize the existence of the printer even although both wifi and Bluetooth are enabled and functioning. I have contacted hp service online but gotten no answer. I have telephoned the 1-888 number several times, during business hours, and each time I hear the hp recording but when the call is transferred I am cut off. Always. I intended to try to print and complete certain forms to send to government offices including but not only the American irs where I am required I believe to complete the paper form, but I am prevented from doing so because the printer with wifi is not functioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hp 3755 Scanner funtion inoperable The scanning function on the printer stopped feeding the paper through about a month after I started using it. If I assisted it by pushing the paper through with my hands, only then would it go through. It didn't scan accurately even then.

But to my dismay the Desk Jet 3755 printer wireless feature could not be activated despite help from a "certified hp technician" who was hard to understand and seemed more bent on selling a network firewall system I decided not to buy than on solving the setup problem. Apparently, because the wireless feature couldn't be activated, the instant ink sign up couldn't be completed. Very discouraging after wasting 3 hours last Saturday morning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works better with Windows than the MAC I use this with both the MAC and PC. It works much better with the PC. However, the scan feature was really difficult to figure out and with the MAC I had to download an entire app to scan, while with the PC I did not. I'm not real crazy about the way it scans by pulling a page through the top slot in the front, it is usually crooked. Once I got it working it works quite well and I like the small size for home printing. Switching back and forth between the MAC and PC can be confusing though.

The first time we tried to print a few pages it printed sooo slow I was ready to box it up and return it. I contacted support via chat and my tech was able to resolve that problem and it printed like a dream (and fast!). Word of advice, before jumping to conclusions contact HP they are wonderful in helping with any problems you may have!

It takes 5 minutes to print out one side of paper and then I physically have to reinsert the paper to get 2 sided printing.This printer should not be listed under that category. On top of that when printing it skips pages in my documents. When I printed from my parents printer it prints the whole thing. . If you're in college this is not the printer for you! Will be returning to get a better model.

I got the turquoise one and the size Is perfect since I don’t have a lot of space but to scan is a nightmare since you have to use an app and like I mentioned before the connection is bad it would give you a lot of stress . I had printers before and I never had a connection problem . The copy Part is works great I don’t have a problem with that and when it get a good connection with your phone It works fine too. Personally the wireless part is a hastle for me . I have to restart The machine so many times lately .

I like the idea of being able to share the printer with my friends by providing the printer's email address and also being able to ONLY authorize my friends or family individually. The only downsize is the fact that the mobile app AiO doesn't work with facebook, tried different ways but still doesn't connect with it so you can't print pictures from your Facebook account unless you save the pictures in your computer or camera roll first. HP needs to fix this issue.

Previous printer model gave way to making another/this selection. if you are seeking a lite duty, small foot print capable machine this is the one. wish more printers came in white or color accents. thus far very happy with HP brand printers highly recommend!

It prints fine when on normal print, but is extremely slow when set to best quality print. Also, while I know this isn’t a flatbed, I haven’t had much luck getting a clear scan through the feeder. I’m hoping this is just user error and I will get better. All-in-all this printer is fine for my needs.

Lack of flatbed for scanning is a minus but can be overcome by taking a picture and printing directly from that. Printing speed is OK. Color is slow but most printers suffer from that. Had outstanding tech support in setting it up.

I love the size, the color and the price. Although I have not yet used the features of copy and scan, I am already happy with the printing. I am still figuring out how to use wireless connection between my Chromebox and the printer. Let me know if you know how.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't compare with my old HP4440 Could not tell from picture that the lid doesn't open for scanning; must feed a paper through an opening in the front, which often results in a crooked copy and doesn't allow for scanning photos or smaller items. It's also VERY slow to print after a print command. Can't copy a page from a book! Very disappointing printer for me. Will upgrade to an office printer with better features when there's a sale. I loved my old HP 4440 printer though so I'll buy from HP again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arrived Broken I was so excited to buy this printer based on past reviews and to use the instant ink feature. To my disappointment the printer arrived broken. When I plugged it in and started to do set up it kept flashing E 3 which means paper jam. Having just taken it out of the box there was no reason for there to be a paper jam. I spent a few hours doing all of the trouble shooting tips on the HP website and with the HP tech without remedy. He decided it was a hardware malfunction. HP is replacing my $70 brand new printer (which is way more than I ever paid for any other printer and they all worked but had expensive ink) with a refurbished printer. I still don't understand why I am receiving a refurbished printer when the one I bought had a warranty, was shipped directly from HP, and had been in my possession less than a month and was still unused. I hope the instant ink subscription is worth all of this hassle.

The print quality has been very good quality for everyday jobs. There is a very convenient ink reorder program. Also, I have moderate computer skills and found set up to be intuative. However, the directions for set up are quite limited so if you are very uncomfortable with your knowledge of using computer and printer, you may find set up and use confusing at first. For example, I intuitively realized how to use the copy and scan feature on the printer. However, there were not specific instructions on how to do it. That could be itritating for first time users.

It was easy to set up & I've been retire for many years. What I'm saying is that I can do this anyone set it up. I can print from my own network or using the bluetooth from my cell phone. It's not real speedy, but as I mentioned, I'm retired. However...silly me thought all printers provided a boarder-less option. Not so. I purchased this little gem to replace my way too big color printer. I specifically wanted 4" x 6" prints. I tried every setting option that I could with no luck. I finally called HP eprint support and found out it will not print 4'x'6' full page without boarders. I'm very disappointed, but it's my own fault for not asking that specific question when I made my purchase. So I will continue to use it for other sizes, but I when I buy a photo frame that calls for a 4" x 6" photo I will have to have it printed elsewhere. Bummer

Had some trouble connecting wirelessly but got it going. The ink is reasonably priced. Makes for a great school printer or basic needs printer.

I am a college student and need to print many things off and I have had this printer about six months now and only have successfully been able to print stuff off maybe a few times. I have done everything I could think of and have even contacted HP support and still nothing works.

Finally had to call HP Tech to find out that you can not set up the printer on a 5G network. We were able to switch back to the 5G network once the printer was set-up. Several hours of my time that I will never get back for something that should have been a plug and play device! Otherwise it's a great little printer I bought for traveling. Also the price of the printer dropped in half just days after I made my purchase.

I love the instant ink program so I made sure to get a printer that can use it. I love this printer specifically because it’s compact and also a very pretty aqua color that matches a lot of the other crafting supplies I own. It works just as intended and only took 30 seconds to set up the printer as well as set it up for instant ink (as it came with the cartridges) I do not own any photo paper as of yet so I cannot attest to its photo printing quality but it works perfectly for me.

The problem seems to be in the connection to the computer - computer can not find printer. I have tried everything, and I have connected different printers. So - this is not the first time. I tried to call or send an email to Support - no one answers any of the many number listed - and you have to have an account to send an email to support. So - being me - I did send an email to the CEO - he was kind enough to read it and reply, telling me that someone would get in touch with me. The next day someone did call from HP Support - the phone dropped the call before I could answer it - but I do have the voicemail. I tried to call that same number back and have not been able to get anyone to talk to. I was hoping they would call again, but so far nothing. I now have been sitting here with this useless printer for about four weeks - I guess I will trash it or give it away and eat the price of it. I am really disappointed, since I also have an HP Computer that I bought last year. I guess maybe the virus has something to do with the Support, but if you have a brand new item, there should be at least a different number that someone would pick up and help you out.

The printer does pull more than one paper at times but it hasn't caused a jam. Cardstock prints easily. I gave it a 4 because it's not a super fast printer and occasionally I have to reprint because what I printed smeared.

It was extremely helpful to have physical copies of lecture slides, homework,etc. It was also very useful for scanning documents for work (which also shifted online). The instructions were minimal and lacked important details. I had to Google HP for more detailed instructions for setup, scanning and printing. I would recommend that HP improve the setup instructions for this printer.

It's also nice looking and fairly easy to use. The only challenge I've had is consistently getting the wifi to connect and to get it to scan. The startup process was not intuitive with many iconed buttons, but once it gets going, quite pleasing. I would recommend!

I live in New York City therefore space is very limited and this product comes in handy. The pop of sea green was the number one reason that caught my eye. I have on at least 2 occasions (I lost count) had to pay customer service to re install only to have it not work within 24 hours. My previous HP printer was great. I had it for several years before needing to replace it. I regret buying this and will likely not buy another HP printer based on this experience with both customer service and the printer. Just awful

I yell at this printer so much my neighbors probably think im in an abusive relationship.. Which I am, with my printer. It will never just turn on and print, i have to powere cycle a couple times for it to work. It likes to error out then right away, then start printing again from the begining on its own, wasting all my paper and the very expensive ink (I m guessing this is a money ploy for their ink delivery service.) I have printer photopaper from my last (good) printer. and this printed lines that didnt even adhear to the paper ( even though it says it prints photos, which is the reason i opted for this one) as we speak my paper will not print and after 30 mins of dealing with it again, I have decided I will throw it in the trash.

I purchased this printer to replace a much larger wireless printer and was specifically looking for something that had up-to-date features in a smaller size. This one checked all the boxes and had a lot of good reviews, so I went with it and I’m glad I did. it was super simple to set up, no problems at all and I really like that I can use an app on my phone to print from anywhere. Even better is that it looks good … It has a low profile and doesn’t take up much space. Very happy with it and the price is great for all it does.

I need something that works from just being plugged into the wall outlet. The old HP all n one I once gave me the option of printing with or without internet. I have internet l, but don't care to go thru any website. When I can't use a new product, I usually give it away. This time I thought to toss it in file 13. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s ok Generally functional however printing a multi page document takes extremely long 5pages will print in 8min (i timed it) and the hpink program is supposed to send ink when the printer is running low however I have not received ink and my printer said it’s out of ink... thank goodness I had a replacement cartridge that I ordered along with the printer. Overall it’s functional, and pretty... but not the best for quick printing jobs

It has very good printing qualities for it size, it takes a bit of time though which is okay since it's small, but overall it has fine qualities. It also has just 1 wire in order to use so I don't need so much space for wires either.Would recommend to people who do not have much space in their house and does not want many wires hanging around.

(She no longer is in town). Also, when this was purchased on line, I did not realize it came with ink and the sales person asked me if I wanted ink and I said yes, only to find out it was not needed. I am sure this would be great for someone who has more knowledge than I, however, for me, it is money down the drain. I need a very simplified printer. I do not understand your instructions.

I chose this printer for its size and features in order to take it on trips so I wouldn't have to trudge to the hotel lobby in order to utilize their printer. So far it works ok at home but I couldn't get it to work with just the USB cable. I had to do wireless and it's now ok. I just hope I don't have to go through the whole wireless thing each time I am in a new location. However, I'm optimistic.

I'm gonna save some poor soul out there a headache and an ulcer (i.e. I had some tech issues that HP didn't help with and I figured it out so I'm here to help ya) For slow (like slothy slow) printing/guzzling of ink: 1 - go into the printer settings (click the window button on your computer, move up to settings, click devices, then printers & scanners, then click the HP printer, then click manage, then go to printing preferences and change your paper type to plain paper. For whatever reason, this printer defaults to a higher quality of print, which then guzzles the ink. Therefore, we just took care of TWO issues other owners have had. You're welcome - did that better than HP Customer Service (*boom*) Preface: When printing a document, mine would always cut off the bottom margin of the page, and it hit my OCD nerve so I was ready to jank that bish up and throw it out. Luckily I just drank more coffee and played around with settings. 2- When you go to print, change your paper settings to A4. Not sure why that worked, but it did. Suddenly my margins DO exist! Hopefully this helped. As far as print quality, it is pretty decent, the colors are vibrant and crisp. I will probably end up taking this one into my classroom to use because it is super lightweight and seems pretty portable. I am thinking about upgrading to a larger printer with a better scanning function though (maybe an envy?), I haven't figured out how to make the scanning on this one work better than my previous epson. (I would still be using the epson full time if they offered an instant ink program, I think I do prefer the epson but as a teacher, I desperately need the ink supply...) This gets three stars because Cons 1- a pain to figure out why things are happening that should not be happening right out of the box (margins, that ridiculous printer page default that takes forever) 2- scanning function is awful (shrinks it down...but why, though?) 3- Customer support...geesh. 4- It only holds like 10 pages in the feed. So few pages. 5- Doesn't always push the page all the way out and starts printing on the previous page AND the new page (The heck is that all about? Caused me to waste paper and ink!) Pros 1 - light weight and portable 2 - print quality is actually pretty decent and crisp 3- Once you change the settings outlined above, print time is pretty decent 4 - Instant ink! 5- My setup was very easy, I was printing off it within 10 minutes of pulling it out of the box 6 - the app! I can print from my phone and laptop in different rooms 7 - it's not as loud as my epson

Software is so "friendly" that it finds a network, and routes your print jobs to it, and you cannot find the print job anywhere. Or it just sits there showing itself to be on, but no reaction to the print job you have just sent to it eleven times from 2 feet away over a direct wire connection. A nightmare of a product, a shameful, annoying disaster of a purchase. I hate this printer and/or its software. You will too. Unlike HP I will guarantee it. There is no troubleshooting worth anything and no help available in any form. I pity the purchaser of this product, and deeply regret having bought it.

I had to ask our technology guy how to set it up and he kept it for a week as well as my laptop until he could figure it out. In the end we found the directions don’t help set up the printer, but it is good quality now that it works.

I came back two hours later and it would not print. It won’t print via wireless or cord (my own because it doesn’t come with one). I tried printing straight from the app. Still nothing. I have had the printer less than 24 hours and I have already contacted HP for a full refund. They can have it! This was the best, smoothest , most reliable printer I'd ever had until it suddenly after about 6 months turned into the worst printer I've ever had! I got it at Walmart. the only thing that works to get it to print anymore, seriously, not joking is to body slam it on the desk! Starting off there is NO HP support for this printer no instructions come with it and the ones online are line pictures that are indecipherable. It has a ink subscription program that I COULDN'T SIGN UP FOR and security features in the app that I couldn't use! It kept saying I had entered the wrong password, WHEN I HADN'T ERGISTERED ONE YET. I followed the "instructions" on the printout a dozen times and couldn't do any of these things. It wouldn't work on USB but thankfully did work on wireless just fine, FOR WHILE. All I used it for was printing ebay labels and that lasted about 6 months and then every time I went to printd something I had to mess with it for a half hour. I uninstalled the wireless part and went wired with it and it worked ONE TIME FOR A COUPLE LABELS, but next time, it doesn't work again. now it won't work because of something else. now it is ALWAYS something and it never prints when I send a file to print. NOT ONLY THAT but It comes with NO instructions, there are none at HP. I'VE NEVER FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE SCANNER OR EVEN WHERE TO PUT THE EFFING PAPER INI TO SCAN BECAUSE ALL THERE IS ANYWHERE for instructions for this is TINY line drawings of the printer that don't show what is the front or back. so I tried both front and back and Nada, nothing, zilch. Honestly I don't think this is even a scanner, I think it is an ripoff scam through and through. all my other HP printers in the past, all the basic $30 models', lasted for three years and then quit working all together. That's even true for the USED One I got from my brother that he'd all ready had for a few years. It was the best one. But This thing didn't last a year.

I did all the things in the "help" on the HP Smart app. I googled for answers. Still, have been unable to get it back online. I can't use the printer now. I don't have any available USB ports on my laptop to hard wire it. I feel like I wasted my money on this printer.

I have printed on the reverse side of paper and the manual operation for this technique is cumbersome. I have not, as yet, had the opportunity to scan - but the directions seem to indicate only a one-page option. The copy portion and printing function each produce a satisfactory work product. The difficulty I am experiencing is having HP register the product since there is a typo in my email address at the time of purchase and I am surprised that HP has been able to contact me so that I may share my thoughts.

However, that app is not Microsoft Edge compatible. After trying for hours, I somehow got it to install. I was very close to returning the product. The scanning function can't grab the document very well causing a lot of black space been captured. Then you have to waste time to crop out the black areas.

It says that I have printing in que when I have not sent anything to print and when I do I have to turn the printer off and then on and still won't print for hours. I should have stuck with canon.

Swapped out our router and could NOT get the printer reset to default...gave up after 4) tickets and a wasted afternoon... still it’s a very reliable unit and instant ink is worth the price and convenience. Recommended if you want the basics.

If you’re just wanting to print on regular paper, this printer is perfect! I was hoping to print many of my things on card stock but it gets caught in the paper feeder and messes up the image you’re printing. Maybe there is a card stock setting that I haven’t figured out yet but I don’t think there is.

They are very hard to get high so extraordinarily popular. When I got the new one I had problems setting it up even though it’s a 1 to 3 set up. I had to call HP support and they were amazing it took a while but we figured out that since I had registered the first one it wouldn’t except the second one because of different serial numbers and ink numbers. Once we straighten that out it was a simple set up works beautifully The colors are amazing

It's a nice, compact size so it's easy to find room for it and it's affordable. After the initial setup (I did have a little trouble connecting it to wifi at first but after a little troubleshooting) all of the features are easy to use, especially when using the HP Smart app. I especially like that I can scan multiple pages (although sometimes it can be slightly difficult to scan the pages in straight because it's a hand feed scanner) I can very easily create a single document from the scans. I'm definitely happy with my purchase.

Since my print needs are more reduced, I thought this smaller unit should fit the bill. Trying to set it up the first time it printed instructions every time I touched a button. Having handicap, it is next to impossible to hand feed paper into little dinky slot, hold the paper up and then push the scan button on the computer. Waste of my disability money. Very very disappointed.

Very very slow and you cannot lift a cover to take a picture from a book, etc You have to slip the page you want a copy of into a slot, that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Will be sending this one back and getting another one.

Also, you have to manually load for double sided. In addition, this printer will not hook up through WiFi. I have to have a cord between printer and laptop.

So unreliable...absolute piece of junk. It's a hit or miss as to whether it will print a page. Although I'm following the correct steps, I never know if it will print a full page , a partial or nothing at all.It's not for lack of ink, either. After less than one year of very limited use, it has gone haywire. Now I am finding that the only way I can shut this horrible machine off ....is to unplug it. I tried to find a the. number for HP support...forget it! It's going to the recycle bin.

No changes to the settings, ink cartridges, or our computers, it just quit. It had always been slow, and had connectivity issues - but not it just throws an "in use" error message, and we can no longer print.

This printer has been inconsistent and nearly every time I print I get an error message. I have to reload paper, turn off and back on, and then perhaps a day later, my project is randomly printing. I would have returned this product, but I waited beyond the 30 day window, so now I am stuck with it. Spend a little more money and get a decent printer.

However, it will hook up with my ipad but that's it. I miss the days where there was an actual disk with the printer and could install it that way. That ALWAYS worked. Printing is rather slow but I don't do that much printing but when I DO, I want to use with my computer. I have had this problem a lot with HP printers and I have had at least 3 of them...time for a new brand I think

The only negative for me is not having the flatbed scanner which I knew going in. Does scan great but like scanning anything other than paper (cards, etc) could be an issue. It works well enough that we bought another one for home (a second advantage is using the same print cartridges in both environments). The only drawback is that the scan function is not a flat bed format - that would have occupied a larger footprint, but the feed-through scanner works well for single sheets.

I have done EVERYTHING I can think of to reinstall the printer and it won't work. It says it's missing the driver, then it can't find the printer and then the spinning wheel of death. It shouldn't be this hard to use a product. I've tried installing the self-help tool...nothing.

However, I did not realize the limitations without a flatbed scanner. Will be returning it because I bought a 2742e model with a flatbed scanner...it works great also.

I had to print a couple of test pages. Quality was good. Would recommend HP puts 2 black ink cartridges and a color in their next design

Size is just right to fit in my area. A bit slower than I'm used to, but acceptable to get all the other features. I wanted the same brand as my laptop and didn't have any problems connecting to it.

I am more than pleased with not only the printer but the substantial cost savings benefit with the Instant Ink plan, which is so convenient with the automatic delivery and empty cartridge recycling feature with the supplied postage paid envelope, which saves me a trip to the recycling depot. The "no hassle" flexible monthly charge based on usage makes sense because everybody has different printing needs. I have already recommended the plan to three of my business associates and my daughter who will be seriously looking into it

Not only does it print, it also scans though I don't use it much. I live in a small apartment and don't have much space and this printer fits into small spaces.

It is small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of space, and is light so you don't hurt yourself carrying it. The colour is beautiful on paper once its printed. I love the scan function to and it all works so easy with the HP smart app. The only thing I'm not fond of is that when you print something in colour it is pretty slow, but other than that is a great little machine for your printing needs!

Really like the printer - it has a bluetooth feature, great design, but it would be cheaper to purchase a new one rather than buy ink cartridges so I worry about landfill issues.

I tried to make the best of it; however, because of personal circumstances it turned out to be more difficult to get it working than I had the patience for. I'd missed the return policy requirements; so, I've packed it away for someone who may have need of a mini-printer. Thanks just the same. (I purchased a Canon printer and like it a lot.)

Shortly after I bought it I needed to print a larger amount of paper (thank goodness for instant ink!!). Only downsides so far: 1) it is incredibly slow; it took 4.5 hours to print off ~250 pages. 2) it doesn’t print double-sided (which may be obvious for printer people but this is my first printer so I didn’t realize how much of a pain it is not having that option). Overall a good printer for the price

Very frustrated it has cost me more than the computer charged me to even buy it just to try and get it installed

It does not work with my 5 G network so I returned. HP tried to be very helpful. It took three days to get it figured. Probably a good choice of printer to use with a 2.5 or smaller WIFi network. Also takes a lot of ink and color cartridge has all three colors in one cartridge so must be replaced when any one color runs out. Doesn’t print many copies in a minute and stand up paper feeder only holds a few sheets. So just be sure you read all the specs and see if this really good looking and light weight printer works for you.

They asked to access my computer and to make a long story short asked for over $400 to correct my problem. I could have purchased 3 new printers for that amount. It doesn't make sense but I love the printer itself just not the stress that has come with it.

Constantly needs driver updates which then immediately delete themselves, never connects to a network properly, constantly needs cleaning. How is it that the printer my parents owned 30 years ago that you could hear running across the street works better than this thing?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT...! Best money I ever spent. It's small but sturdy. Got an amazing amount of ink out of the starter cartridge, too. If you only need black, remove the color cartridge and print away on just black. Do this because occasionally it will print color if you are not vigilant about clicking black only. Very fast, beautiful copies. On the downside, it does not print 2-sided and it makes a bit of noise printing. But I am beyond happy.
