Purchased a replacement ink, used the printer tools to clean printheads and align and even then, not working. I will never purchase another HP product in my life, quality of HP has gone done the drain. Scanner on this printer sucked since day one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scanners beware First, let me say that I have 2 HP all-in-one PCs, monitors, and laptops, I love them and will continue to use them. I dropped my Canon PIXMA printer so I figured why not? I scan and then shred all my documents so I am frustrated that it cannot give a clean scan because there is no guide to keep the doc straight when going through the feeder. The quality is the same as using a camera phone. I could live with having to feed each document from the bottom up but this is unacceptable.

Needed to replace old HP printer that was giving me problems.Had been used for a long time.and gone thru upwards about 20+ reams of paper printing booklets of my wife's writings. Also many reports for the employees credit union I helped run for along time.

His teachers started giving him zeros when he couldn't turn in hard copies of his assignments. He switched with us as soon as he could. Now it's mine. I hate it! It won't stay connected to the WiFi, I can't seem to disconnect it from using WiFi and just use a cable. It was wasted money. Now I'm without a printer at home so I can't pre-print material I will need in my classroom, or just print whatever I want! My husband is working on his Master's and he has to go to his job to print documents!

I have tried to fix it via HP smart, but that doesn't work. So I tried to reach out to customer care, and the virtual agents prevents me from talking to someone by saying I don't have the right product number (although I've tried every single number that shows on my printer). Thanks for the horrible experience and waste of time, HP

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issues with the Inkjet I had to send in for a replacement on day #2 . I could not easily connect it to wifi and needed your call center assistance. After that great assistance (I mean it) it was connected and downloaded a manual for the product as well. Then the next day I tried a scan and I got a black half inch wide line down the page. We tried a copy function and the same line ppeared on a copy. This is resulted in call which resulted with a replacement transaction. I am waiting for the replacement to come next week. This will be two weeks now. It's a good thing I have another printer at home.

All you need is the printer email which it’s gives you as soon as it set up and presto you can send prints from anywhere to your printer. To do this you have to set up an account at hpconnected.com. It’s a great feature.

I especially liked that you can email PDFs to the printer and they’d print. No matter where you are. It came in handy when my grandmother had difficulty printing something. I was able from my home, just email the document to her printer and it printed out for her. I recently bought the same printer for myself.

It's lack of screen makes it nearly impossible to connect to wifi or figure out what the heck is wrong with it. I wish I never wasted by money on this printer. It is junk.

My purpose for buying it was it's small size since I have a very small workspace. I also own an HP Envy and I love it - it just takes up too much space. I wish the HP 3755 had the same quality as the HP Envy, but we'll make it work.

Can only accommodate 10 sheets of paper at a time. I thought I was up-grading - not DOWN-grading. This after speaking to a rep from HP over the phone. He recommended this model.

Now I find out that the scanning drivers never loaded and there is no way to just load the scanning drivers - I have to uninstall and re-install the software. I am waiting to do this since it took me hours to do it before. I had purchase other HP printers in the past and was able to load the software in minutes.

I use it mainly to print items for school and it is slow, expected from such a small printer but it works. Not recommended for large office work. Although I have been loving the instant ink capabilities. I wish that they had more print capabilities more than 300 prints/month for the high priced package. Hp please add more print capabilities if someone can read this review. Otherwise I am happily with my choice!

Overall, I think the DeskJet 3755 is good for someone looking to print, scan, and make copies of simple stuff. The model was very easy to set up; however, I'm having trouble figuring out how to print photos on glossy paper. I've tried changing the printer preferences, but the model just seems to reject the paper I bought. Bear in mind, the paper is HP brand.

Print quality if very good, if a bit slow. Scan is not the best. I am happy with it and hope it lasts me 4 more years like my last printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to call HP to get it to work I bought the printer from HP online two weeks ago. When I connected it to my HP desktop, 'tho it connected to my wireless network, it wouldn't print. I went thru removing it then connecting several times and following the online instructions without success. My call to to HP support, and about 1 hour on the phone, finally got the printer going.The printer device designation: HP93A4C3 HP Deskjet 3700 series had to be changed to HP DJ 3700 series PCL-3. It's disappointing that so much time had to be invested in order to add this printer I have an HP Photosmart C-4500 printer, almost 9 years old which wasn't much more expensive than the 3755 & still works fine but no air print. I chose the 3755 because it can also scan & it's probably one of the smallest out there. But with each new generation materials become flimsier than in the past. Yes, also lighter in weight, but care must be taken to go easy on the paper feeder and receiver to avoid damaging them. Last but not least: it prints on the slow side & is noisy. Noise can be reduced but instructions say print speed will slow down. I use my printers only occasionally so speed isn't an issue for me. Also two-sided printing isn't available and no instructions about which way paper must face to print on the blank side of a printed page (trial & error required: the blank side of the page must be facing up). Like the C4500, to avoid running thru paper, I select page range and enter the page number to print then repeat this after turning to the blank side to print the next page. HP should provide a ream of paper gratis to replace all that is lost during the setup process.

I was looking for an inexpensive "All in One" printer that copies and scans which this does, but only one sheet at a time. Convenient that the ink cartridges come with the printer, but did not last very long.. I ran out of the black ink very quickly. I use in a home office and sorry I went with this printer.. I needed more.

I guess there trying to get rid of them because my printer refuses to connect to my computer wirelessly or with the USB. And I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried everything online, everything they put on the startup print out and beyond that. It will not connect and it will not print if it does connect with the USB; which it only has ONCE. Terrible purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a good choice My partner bought this printer because of the great quantity of features available for such a low price. For that, it is a good deal, though don't expect a full size scanner or good construction at this price point and size. That's where my praise stops. The instant ink feature seems nice... unless something goes wrong. We had been having network issues so the instant ink wasn't updating, so we ran out randomly (which prevented me from printing my resume for a job interview). I went out and bought a new ink cartridge specifically appropriate for my machine. Later, after we got the network reconnected to the printer, I got a message saying that because I was using a cartridge that was not from the Instant Ink service, my printer would stop printing randomly. I thought it meant that I would run out of ink and I would have to wait for my new cartridge. I was okay with that, as I didn't need a resume on the fly anymore. However, not long after, my printer stopped printing. I have a mostly full ink cartridge. I found out that apparently I have to unsubscribe from Instant Ink to use the ink cartridge I bought from the store. My partner is the one who has the account and he was at work. I waited for him to get home to unsubscribe. I have to wait until the subscription ends in 5 days to be able to print again. This is unhelpful. Additionally, instead of displaying information in another way, it prints an instruction sheet. This is far above and beyond the normal printer alignment sheets.

Time and time again we tried to get it to copy the last few sentences on the bottom of the page and it would not copy it. We turned the paper around and it cut off the heading on the paper.

Using HP paper, was kept flat, not wet, not stuck together, paper guide not tight to paper,,,,,,am very frustrated.

Even with the paper tray fully extended to catch the printed pages, it ejects them so forcefully that they end up on the floor if you aren't there to catch them.

I have done nothing but waste countless hours on troubleshooting websites .trying to figure this product out, everything from wrong sizes..constantly needing alignments, ,maintenance, wrong diagnosis printing out, etc. Please if you're going to give this product a shot still buy some advil also..your going to need it!!I would definitely do a lot of research before buying this product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink cartridge was dried out Bought a new HP laptop and got a deal on the printer which to be fair is good deal fro 20 bucks. It was delivered within a week but was busy to try it out right after I got it. Now that I did Pros: - Fast shipping - Really lightweight and small to fit comfortably on a small desk - The scanning software seemed really intuitive and user friendly. Cons - Feels really fragile and made of flimsy material - Used the printer for the first and printed about 15 pages for my son's homework and on the last page it stopped printing anything. Took out the cartridge multiple times and shook it really hard but with no success. Was also unable to print the page with the color ink which came out really pale and the pages had to be thrown out. - It can only scan one single detached page at a time so can't scan a book. - The printer status screen doesn't display much info so it was hard to tell what was wrong with it. - No proper manual included and very hard to set up. We had actually printed a set up page by accident and it gave much clearer instructions on how to set up the printer which still took a good 2 hours in total on two laptops. I feel like I threw away $20. Imagine if I had paid the full cost. Tried getting through to customer service and no answer from the phone, there is no direct email on the page I can send my query to and the only chat line available was unable to help. I'm going to return it and get back my money.

I love that it has an app to check the ink levels and that it alerts you when the paper is out. I also love that you can email something to the printer to be printed. The scanner and copier works well also!

It printed with really good quality and also would scan or copy quickly and efficiently so I did not have to do so at the office. After about two years it has completely stopped printing black ink and support tells me I should just upgrade to a new printer. So disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buy if you use college wifi I literally can't set this printer up or register it with my account because I cannot connect my printer and devices to the same wifi. The printer has to be connected to my school's device wifi and I cannot connect my laptop or phone to the device wifi because the main wifi is meant for that. Because of that, it seems like it's impossible to set up web services and therefore also impossible to set up HP Instant Ink, which is the reason why I bought the printer in the first place. I don't understand why my laptop has to be connected to the same wifi as the printer to use it. Yes, you can connect directly to the printer's wifi network, but you can't use the internet on your device if you do that. It's ridiculous and poorly designed.

I scanned papers to send to another person. Everything works great. It takes up less room, but it does a great or the same as the bigger Hp all in one. Not to mention I like the blue color

A simple little printer that took four hours on a new Surface Studio to install. Glitchy, odd directions, cant find wireless signal, then a call to customer service. It’s 2018. When will HP come up with a machine that installs easily? Not till the end of this century apparently. After is did get working...the on off button. Turning it off means it blinks. It does not turn off. You can’t even turn it off without drama. The turning on is equally bizarre as it takes five minutes to figure where it is in space and then allow you to print. Opening the controls on the computer. Equally time consuming and it gives you a sick feeling in the pit of your gut hoping that it will open to do whatever it is supposed to do. There’s my review.

He was in need of something simple, but advanced enough to do what he was wanting. This little printer is packed with all the features he was looking for (print, scan, copy, WiFi (added bonus), etc... This printer is also a space saver and he even liked the color!! He is very happy with his new printer and it didn't take him long at all to figure out how to use it. It's very user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from scanner leaves streaks in photos Prints well but the scanner is terrible. It leaves vertical streak marks on every single photo I scan and I believe its due to a design flaw. The photos are pulled through vertically by motorized wheels on a bars and I'm 99% sure that causes the steaks. tried to return it to Walmart, they wont take it back. Wasted 1 hour on the phone with Hp only to be told they'd replace it with the same type. Don't waste your money on this hunk of junk if you want to scan good looking photos.

I purchased it because it is lightweight, about 5 pounds, and small in size so it saves you space. It is good for students in dorm rooms or anywhere there is not much space available. I did have problems with the scan feature, because I have Parkinson;s tremors in the hands, so it is difficult for me to feed the paper through the scan slot. A flat bed printer-scanner would have been better for that. If you have steady hands, there would be no problem, I believe. I got it on sale with free shipping for Christmas. A good value!

I'm not a 'network' person so need clear concise instructions if a 'distribution' process is an option. Documentation typical off shore interpretations it appears to me. Do like it for printing drawings from CAD/CAM systems, especially color.

In the first two weeks the printer performed adequately well, although the time it took to print a single page was very slow (as described in the product literature). In the third week problems began to occur. The printer's software constantly had to be rebooted and/or reinstalled. I spent more time trying to fix the machine than I did printing. I finally returned the printer to HP .

Yes, it’s compact, but that’s the only thing it has going for it. It took almost an hour to print a 24 page document, so the ppm estimate on the product description is way off. If you were to put a super slow printer from 20 years ago in a cute little blue and white box, you’d have the HP Deskjet 3755. Don’t waste your money.

It works well with all our devices, is air print enabled, and with HP123 was easy to set up and connect. We don’t print much, so if you have a large family of school children or a business where you need to print a lot, you might want to consider one of the larger models.

It's a good, compact printer, ideal for personal use (small printing jobs). The instructions for installing it were clear, although the only problem I encountered had to do with figuring out how to scan documents to my computer. (I still haven't figured this out). On the whole, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to someone who's looking for a small, compact, very reasonably (inexpensively) price printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Good! Avoid it From the start, this printer would have difficulty communicating with my computer that it was plugged into. Sometimes changing from the cable to wireless would help. Powering down and restart for every print job became the norm; That was the fix. Updated drivers did not help. The printer is slow but I dealt with it. Ink cartridge is extremely small. Wasted so much paper and ink if I did not power down and restart the printer for every print job (2 pages), the printer would often print double or triple the pages I selected to print or print partial pages and eject the paper. I got 21 months of torture out of this printer before it finally started to leave blobs of ink in the lower left corner of every printed page. What a waste!

I read all the reviews about it, and some mentioned it was difficult to set up the wireless printing with it. I am not very tech savvy, but I had no problems at all setting the printer up. It was very easy. I especially recommend viewing some of the online sites that demonstrated setup. Everything on the printer has worked flawlessly and it truly is as advertised, an all-in-one printer that works great. My only "con" to the printer is it prints out pagers slower than I expected.

Then when you try to print anything it pulls multiple pages into it, like 2-5 sometimes not at the same time causing it to print one page on two pieces of paper. And I've tried it with just 2 pieces of paper in the feed tray so it's not that it has been over filled. I've tried with 2, 5, 10, 20 it doesn't matter. Scan quality isn't great either. Only bonus is the size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly difficult setup of OK-to good printer This 3755 replaced a 3755 that had failed. I like the features, price, and size of the printer. However, I had to call HP twice for help in setting up the printer’s wi-fi connection and in transferring my Instant Ink account. This was very frustrating. . It’s very nice that the printer can print diagnostic and help info without a wifi connection. But some of that info was mysterious: the 3755 has no “ePrint button,” so any directions including that are useless. . The “Wireless Quick Start Guide” refers to “the HP printer software,” but does not say what that sw is. I assumed the HP Utility, whose “Add Device,” by the way, did not work for me. Following some instruction, I downloaded HP Start, which did nothing for me at all. . I followed instructions for Wi-Fi Direct, but although my computer saw the ~network and I entered the 12345678 password, my computer never made the connection. . Without ever understanding what caused my problem with wi-fi, I finally succeeded by digging out an old USB cable and connecting directly to my computer. Neither the automated chat, nor my chat connection with a human agent, nor my call to HP Smart had worked. . I followed the instructions to replace my old printer on my Instant Ink account, but until I called HP support nothing worked. I”m sorry that I can’t report exactly the path I tried, which I realize is not very helpful to you.

It kept leaving a black line down the middle of the paper. As we were trying to solve the problem, it mentioned, the roller being dirty, but with this printer, there is no way to get to that to clean it. Ultimately, I boxed it back up and sent it back. Frustrating, and took up my time. Printer had good reviews, so hopefully mine was just a dud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP has fallen very far!!! When I purchased this printer(HP Deskjet 3755) there was nothing that said that you needed internet for this printer. Also I don't like being manipulated into buying Ink! You are not allowed to finish installing the driver unless you sign up for their Ink Program. You cannot talk to a live person. I went though online support, a virtual support page and still could not resolve my problem.

As router network printer, can print from anywhere in house using anything connected. Con - installation instructions are generic, meant for many models. Can't complete step 2 unless you noticed the 1-inch square of packing foam on the head track and removed it. It is not mentioned anywhere. Once you get past that it is relatively easy.

Very easy to setup, small and compact. I ordered direct from the HP Store, arrived when they said it would. Can't say enough good things about it. I also signed up for the HP Instant Ink - what a great idea! Never again be in the middle of printing, run out of ink and then not being able to find it!

I am a teacher and I have two children that would be do remote learning in the house. This little printer has been amazing. Prints super quickly and the printing is nice, even the color. It is nice and compact so it fits on our little desk area we set up for remote learning. I also love that you can sign up, for a small monthly fee, to have ink sent to your house whenever you run out! This is the best thing ever! I highly recommend this printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer, but poor copier The HP DeskJet 3755 works fine as a printer, but not so good at making copies. I must have tried making copies a dozen times, but it always comes out off kilter with black margins. The problem is that there is no no document feed tray, so you must feed the document by hand. Despite my best efforts, I have yet to successfully product a clean copy. This is a design issue, so I'm going to try to craft a feed tray out of a stiff file folder taped onto the printer. Also, it seems this printer can only copy a full sheet, but not other shapes or sizes of documents, like photos, newspaper clippings, ID cards, or checks.

I completed set up and connected my phone, personal laptop, and work laptop in about 15 minutes. It looks nice and is very quiet. I've only printed a few times so far, but everything is great. My apartment has an open floor plan so my desk is in the dining area between the kitchen & living room. I chose the blue & it fits inperfectly. it prints much quieter than my previous printer from another mfg. It is so lightweight and takes up half the room also, so my desk does not look cluttered. Very easy set up. I also like the Instant ink service. No more running to my 24 hr. Walmart late at night when I need to print something out right now! Very happy I chose this.

Ink Cartridges are full because I only printed a total of 8 pages previously. I took out the ink cartridges and put them back in and then it printed fine. The next time I tried to print it was even worse, couldn't read a single thing on the page. I purchased this printer in March and I'm unable to use it. A complete waste of money. Not to mention the waste of paper and ink in the multiple attempts to print a single document.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn’t work After going through the process to get it all set up, which took way to long it printed the alignment page and that was it. It wouldn’t feed the paper through and wouldn’t work. So it got packed up and sent back immediately. Luckily I got my refund quick.

I'm not a heavy printer, so I was surprised when it stopped working not too long after my warranty expired. I've run every diagnostic HP software had to offer and it does not recognize any errors with the ink cartridges or device. Super disappointed.

Love the auto-ink by mail feature, will never run out nor need to order. no complaints, I’ve tested all the features and everything works great. Very compact and cool-looking. Prints decent quality photos. I ordered online and received quick shipment. Pro tip: you don’t need to buy extra ink if you are getting the Instant Ink subscription, which starts at $2.99 with free trial (free ink in the mail!).

However, when I try to print a legal size image, it automatically reduces the image to fit on a letter size paper. I can't find any way to change this. If I wanted to scan the image to my computer to print it, I could have bought any number of other printers.

It took some work to get it working. Loading ink cartridges is not easy. I received a defective black ink cartridge with the printer. Colored ink cartridge worked okay.. Tried getting hold of customer service. Had to go through a work ticket process or something. Tried chat with Rep. No joy. Tried several times to just talk to a person. Finally gave up and just a cartridge fro HP for $16 plus tax.

My Canon printer stopped working and wanted something comparable for the printing I have needed to do for my daughter for homework due to distance learning and the little I use it for work and to scan documents. I love that it is not bulky and that it has everything I need for it. Doesn't even take up much space. When it comes to scanning, you need to make sure the paper you are scanning gets attached to feeder or else it will not scan. You will hear a noise and it will be difficult to pull the paper out. Also, if you have a computer that is on a 5 GHz connection, make sure to manually set up the printer using your router. Or you can change your settings on your computer. I chose the option to manually set up the WiFi connection and everything worked first time around.

The ink streaks on the back of the paper and it's kind of messy. I like the size of it though. All in all, it's just ok.

Not great for more than one page documents as you have to turn the page around yourself. For our minimal need of printing it works, and at high quality, but definitely a test for patience.

It works and the pages look fine, not for color photos. Scanner does only 1 page, unless you sit there and try to feed another page as the first gets pulled in. Do not recommend, go bigger and get more features.

I guess the whole world has a smart phone, so to get this to work, I have to download some app, install on phone and then it may get printer to work? If the app works, which it doesn't and reviews confirm so not my lack of PC knowledge. I will have to contact a computer geek to get this hopefully going...not thrilled!

Setting it up and getting it to print was so easy that I couldn't believe that the bad reviewers and I had the same printer! I rated it 4 and not 5 because I haven't yet tried to scan or copy and don't know how that will go, but as a printer, it's great!

This one is shaping up to be about as bad as the last HP printer which went through expensive ink like crazy. But at least that printed for awhile: This still doesn't print properly despite being brand new because most of the time it doesn't "read" brand new HP cartridges so I'm having to switch them around constantly. The wireless set up stinks, too - wouldn't recognize either of our wifi netwoks & I had to dig up an old USB cable to finally get it work - still only prints black. Took an hour, too, to even get a live phone number to get help with the previous one. Really not looking forward to getting more HP "help" but since this is doing the exact same thing as the last one..

Should be simple with drivers I stalled. It is not. Cannot print documents after multiple downloads, installations, troubleshooting, and updates using 2 Win10 HP laptops. Simply no response from the printer. Have never had problems like this with our HP suite. I do believe that this printer is junk.

It states up to 5ppm for color, but I timed two pages both with minimal color and it took 1:56 seconds. The printer also tells me I have sufficient color in the cartridge but the printed page does not reflect that. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and does what it's supposed to. I bought this a couple of days ago, and although the write up said, there was a software CD, it wasn't included. It still was easy to setup, much to my surprise, because I usually have trouble getting software from the website, I've used it a couple of times and love it. I have to get used to the scanning function because it works differently than my old printer, but I don't scan that much anyway, so it's all good, Glad I got this, I had to wait a couple of months though since they were all sold out both in the stores and on Amazon. Didn't want a used one so glad this was available and I kept checking.

Download this app, go here, do this, do that. I paid $99 for an HP printer three years ago and I didn't even need directions to set it up. This printer also prints link a line printer on greenbar paper from back in the 80's. The only reason that I am keeping it is because it fits on my desk and I don't need speed to print postal labels from USPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hardware OK; Setup ... Not So Much The installation using HP Smart was a disaster. I couldn't connect, based on the instructions given, either wirelessly or via a USB cable. I had to go to Google, find instructions, and then stumbled on pressing the WiFi button - which then spit out instructions. Eventually, after using 40 years of Information Systems experience, I was able to cobble the HP Smart app to recognize the printer and get it working. This was a terrible experience and disappointing.

Printing is slow but that is not a problem as this is used at home on a limited basis-I did not look for fast printing when I purchased. Lack of decent manual Is a negative but we figured things out and the wi-fi connection was smooth. Overall, I am happy with it. For $90 I did not expect a Lexus and it suits my needs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hard for luddites Old printer (C0mpaq) would cost more to fix than 3755 cost new, so I got a 3755. I'm 79 and not handy, so the diagram didn't help much. Couldn't print the instructions so couldn't put the ink in -- the cartridges kept popping out and increasing my frustration level. It was recommended to me by an IT pro so I'll have to see him tomorrow. I ordered the 3755 online and it arrived on Friday - help was not available Sat or Sun so the weekend projects were scrapped. Once I can tru it out I'll get back to you with a review if it's performance.

We have tried to use the printer multiple times since we purchase it and each and every time the paper gets jammed. We try repositioning the printer and again checking paper settings as well as the feed area it keeps getting jammed. Unfortunately, we waited too long to return to the retail store, however, we had hopes it was just user error. We had a couple friends that work in IT departments saying it will cost more to fix than it is worth. Although we didn't spend much on it, I am disappointed to know that it will be going into an electronic waste pile.

We have had this printer for about a week, and have used it for work, school, and personal uses. After a little bit of struggle with getting it set up, this was my first wifi printer and some of the prompts were confusing, it works like a charm! The printing speed is a little slower than I am used to but overall this is a great product, and I would highly recommend it! *Tested out the scanner and it's pretty clear!!! Wasn't expecting it to be that great!

Much cheaper to purchase this model than buying 3 cartridges of color I would not use often enough anyway. I still can't understand how to hook up phone for WiFi direct as my phone is my mobile hotspot as well. Instructions not clear when using alternate modes of hook up. I have cables so I just hardwire to laptop. Light weight, small foot print, scans, supposedly can send item from phone to print, but that will take time I don't currently have. Best of all is the support team of people available to solve any problem I've had. I don't like that I can't copy a page from a book. I don't like that I have to press the on/off button twice to turn it on or off. The bottom tray does not catch the paper at all. Over all, for the price, I would buy it again. I have had very good service from my 2 HP computers and hopefully now from the printer.

The instruction manual is not only worthless, but it's worthless in 4 languages. Printing is not easy to set up on PC. Copying is somewhat intuitive. I've watched two youtube tutorials and I still can't figure out how to scan because i can't find the dialogue boxes & shortcuts that should be included in the device when I set it up.

It took me days to get it online; I kept getting error messages that it was not connected to the internet. When I finally got it to print, it quit in the middle of a page and refused to work again. Finally, I shut everything down and turned the printer off. It seems to be working now. The screen is tiny and very difficult to read. The other thing is that I have not been able to redeem my free ink offer that came with the printer. The computer site did not work, and the phone support kept disconnecting me, so I gave up.

I go to use it again today for the first time in several months and every page I’ve tried to print is blank. Both cartridges are full and the indicators on the printer confirm that. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service, the agent was nice but after trying to troubleshoot he told me that it was the best he could do because I was out of warranty. His only solution was to tell me to buy another one. If you’re on the market for a printer, buy another brand. Don’t waste money like I did.

Now, it cannot print anything of acceptable quality unless it is an original word document or excel sheet. If I print a photo or from a pdf or an existing website, the images and text have a shadow or a slightly off double, making it blurry. There are no support options that have fixed this problem and HP's customer service is atrocious. I have to replace this printer but I will not be buying from this company that makes such low quality products.

I have had this printer for about a year now and it NEVER connects to my computer. The HP app interface is awful and can never pick up the printer. To even be able to print anything I have to reconnect the printer after every page I print out. Invest in a higher quality printer or better yet go with an entirely different bran and save yourself the headache.

The printout quality is terrible and the ink isn't even down to half empty. The HP support options are terrible and not helpful. The only solution is to spend more money on ink. I will be buying a new printer from Epson or Canon instead.

The app will go through periods where it just crashes every time I try to scan, or it will say the printer is online and ready to go but every time I try to print something it won't because the printer is offline. There is no reason that a product this new to me should be broken so frequently that I'm already looking to buy a replacement. I'd recommend spending a little more and getting a different printer if you're looking for a budget option - this printer is inexpensive but not reliable.

Granted, it's a very inexpensive machine, but still, it can't seem to do the simplest things (print and scan, hardwired to a laptop). Every time I try to print from my laptop, the printer will jump into an error state and I will have to spend 30 minutes trying different things to just get it to print 1 black and white sheet of paper. Instead i had some one set up for me and it took 2 phones call before i go it set up. The first time we could not do cuz i didn't have my WI FI passcode so i got it and the person called me back on Mon. 6/21 and it took 2.5 hrs to get it set up. Just hope i don't have as much trouble printing with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP Deskjet 1755 I bought this product a month ago & it worked well - replacing an old HP Photosmart 4180. 2 weeks later got a message that HP had not supported the Deskjet sinc May of 2020. Why was it still being sold. On HP website the 1755 is now listed as out of stock. What a ripoff.

The original (to be copied) feeds thru the printer, versus placing it on top of the glass. The original doesn't always feed through evenly. And if it's less then letter size (8 1/2" x 11"), you have to manually help feed it through. Does not make copies of prints on photo paper, too thick. You get what you pay for. I returned it.

It is very small, takes very little space and has great features. It is not the top of the line printer but it does the job well and is exactly what I need for working at home. Plus, it's super cute and the price is great!

Therefore, I could not download the installation etc. I tried to return it but HP never responded to my email. I only have internet access at work. I am disappointed in the way HP has handled this and I have a brand new printer that I can't use!

Set up was easy if you are text savvy. The one issue I did have was it’s stopped printing and I had problems figuring it out but if you turned off the Wi-Fi and turned it back on at work I don’t know what happened

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won’t print pasted pics in docs I posted a review 5 days ago complaining about the copy capability of the deskjet 3755 but still gave it 3-4 stars because it quietly and quickly printed my tax returns and other simple documents. Now that I have used the printer for several other print jobs I am NOT happy. I tried printing recipes from a recipe app but the photos never showed. I pasted photos into a document created in the Pages app and the page was blank where the photos should have been. I don’t know how to fix the problem. So I took a screenshot of the document to at least get a photo copy to print. And naturally it printed very slowly. I will rate it 1 star because it does print simple documents nicely. If someone can tell me how t fix this problem I will rate it higher.

What a pain… still not recognizing me / connecting to printer. I have deleted app from my phone and now considering returning the whole thing. (Forget reaching Customer Service.) I’d give more stars for printer but cannot. So, 4 for printer… ZERO for hp “not so smart” app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work with legal cardstock I have an HP 3752 that works perfectly. I have many other HP products that work great. The 3755 doesn't work as well. It won't pull legal card stock (65lb) through the machine correctly. It pulls it correctly until it gets to 11 inches, then it pulls sideways and ruins the print. It works great for paper so I will keep it for other uses. Disappointed!

Not to mention it takes like 5 min to print a single page. Horrible printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works good but good luck setting it up I've owned the printer for almost a month now and i read the reviews beforehand and more people than not were having big time issues getting it to connect to the internet. My first attempt to connect it was stymied by the fact that my internet is 5 GHZ and this printer will only run on 2.4 so to rectify that, i ran the printer through my wireless extender and BAM, i was connected. Then came the issue of the printer telling me that a custom password was set for the printer to connect to webservices and i sure as hell didn't setup a password for it so i couldn't access the scan function on it. I searched online for a remedy and saw that there was quite a few people who had the same issue. All the remedies i tried were useless and then i saw one that said to factory reset the printer so i tried that method and BAM. I was back in business and from then on, everything worked smoothly and i have had no problems with the printer since. It's a decent printer and easy to operate but it's almost a pre requisite to have to go through a bunch of crap first in order for it to work normal like it should. I would recommend the printer if people didn't have to go through hoops first cause it does work nicely but the issues have to be addressed before i can recommend this to a friend.

It's small enough to fit on top of my desk and not be in the way. It's really fast too. It makes copies, color and black. Most people do that even know it's a scanner too. This model is WiFi capible and you can set up HP print email to send docs to be? printed remotely.

I have heard nothing back after waiting the 5 business days they say it takes to get permission to send it back. I tried to print a small photo but the colors were completely wrong and it stopped printing before it was done. I tried to print it again and it was worse and printed less.

Wasted ink and paper because it constantly wants to shoot out the same configuration pages asking you to connect a cord that isn’t even provided in the first place. Do not recommend. Hate it. Now the troubleshooter says the printer is turned OFF when I can clearly see the power indicator light, WiFi and wireless are all brightly lighted & ON. No USB included so no other print options without spending more money. Also the feeder roller for the scanner doesn't work without assistance (needs a little shove at start) in order to prevent a big black bar at the top of the scanned image. I expected better for nearly $100. Luckily my old HP with bigger footprint, circa 2017, hasn't gone to goodwill yet so I'll be using it now in order to get printing!

Bought April 20th, called Walmart to returned, I was told HP will call me, but never called; I called HP and I was passed from one department to the other explaining to clueless reps; I called Walmart back; then HP representative sent an email that 30 days of returned was over!

The wireless printing takes forever to connect, and I've finally broken down and just used a cord. The scanning is okay, but it is very difficult to get precise scans on this machine. It does the job for basic black and white printing (color isn't that good) so I'm glad I have it, but I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Printer worked 2-3 x since then, now it demands its low on ink? would call 'Exclusive # given by tech for way straight to assistance but its "Temporally out of order." don't have another hour to wait to wrestle to the digital help service so its switch to another company or call FTC. Just paid 100+$ for brand new printer that requires manual shut down to print due to the fact it says ink cart is too low, but its not and as of now we have only printed 10-20 pages since its arrival. 2015 service was great/products worked with no problem. cant keep it online so i cant expect any ink when needed. Referred product to family member that had great success for 1st year but now struggles with same issue and must invest precious time into "Customer service" in order to get tech help to connect so she can have ink available. Would i refer this product to anyone in good conscience?

I hadn't opened it prior to this because holidays and health issue, so I had placed it under a end table until I had time to set it up. Imagine my surprise when I found a crack in the housing that extended all the way across the back of the printer. I would like to have this printer replaced as I cannot use this one. My question is do I take it to my local Walmart, or should it be returned to u?

The printer does not work with the 5G WiFi. I discontinued the HP Smart cartridge refill system, and because I still have the smart cartridges installed, I can’t print until I order more. I could not re-enroll into the program without the internet connection. I am buying a new printer mainly because in the WiFi problem. Darn!

If you're looking for a printer that doesn't use much space, this is perfect. It isn't as fast as a big printer but gets the job done.

So even though it has a low price, it ends up costing a lot more by having to buy ink so often. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Service When You Have Issue Connecting I want to connect this printer to two cell phones and two laptops (2 people in the household). At this point, after 2 days, 6 hours of trying, we are able to connect to one cell phone and one laptop. On the other two devices, the HP Smart software says cannot find. It asks us to check the WiFi connection. There is no issue with it. If you are seeing my review right now, that means my wifi connection is working, because this is one of the devices I cannot connect to the printer. The direction is truly insufficient. The printer comes with 3 pieces of paper, but all of them focus on getting me to sign up for the ink supply plan. The software has a option to chat, but it's with a virtual agent, i.e. the system pulls out answers from FAQ based on my question. The answers don't even get close to my questions. I am truly contemplating returning the printer and get a different one. I spent a lot of time searching Youtube for demonstrations, but still can't figure out the connection piece. HP sees selling printer as a way to make money on ink cartridges, which I have no problem with. However, if I can't connect the printer, I won't have any use for your ink cartridges. I don't make you taking away the 800 number, but step-by-step instruction is still needed. This is very frustrating, and I think this may be the last HP item I purchase.

I had to download updates twice to get it to work and I am not sure it will work the next time I need to rely on it. Also the black ink ran out quickly. I would not recommend this product to anyone who needs to scan and/or copy on a regular basis.

This printer is much smaller, so I wasn't too sure how I would like it, but this printer works great! It is small enough to give me plenty of space in my home office, and still allows me to print what I need. I recommend this printer, not only for the great price, but also for the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Features I purchased this HP Envy Photo 7155 Printer, and was frankly a little unsure if I made the right printer. When it arrived and I set it up (which was very easy) I loved everything it does! Especially the seperate tray for pho paper. It's so much easier to print photo's without having to remove the letter size and insert the photo paper, then put the letter paper back in. Love this printer. I would recomend this printer to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay printer for the price This printer is inexpensive and it looks and feels incredibly inexpensive. You are absolutely going to get what you pay for with this printer. Loading ink and paper genuinely feels like putting the slightest extra bit of pressure will break every bit of plastic on this. If you just need a printer for a few things per month, I'd say this is a good one for the price. I would not recommend this if you're printing more often than 10 pages per month.

It took a little time to set it up (works with wifi or with USB), but once you do, it works great! You just have to take it easy when you pull out the parts when you print. The scan is very good quality considering you have to feed the pages in one by one. I love it!

It was the worst setup I have ever done in my 75 years on earth!! iT WAS ONE PROBLEM AFTER ANOTHER. Then after 6 hours of agony I could not get connected for the Instant Ink offer which was why I purchased this printer over others. It is noisy, jerky feeding paper, and I haven't figured out how to simply copy! Sometimes the ink prints lighter and then goes back to normal. I have to shop for a better printer.

DO NOT BUY - actually, from my experience with this one, I wouldn't buy another HP printer. If I could give it ZERO stars i would. I thought I had done thorough research on a new printer, I was wrong. This printer worked for about a month. Then it wouldn't connect to web services - understand that it was connected to the network/internet, it would not connect to web services. And apparently, if you are signed up with Intstant Ink (which you get free for the first few months) you are allowing them to hold your printer hostage if you can't stay connected to them. Won't print, won't copy - nothing! And tech supports answer (after a total of 6 hours on the phone) is that it is my internet service providers issue. If I am connected to the network I should be allowed to print, period!

The second time, I did everything exactly the same and it worked. It was a lot of trouble for a printer. In the end, it works well and is a good little printer. It took your technician over an hour to connect my printer to my computer and, I still am not able to connect to wifi. Was a much easier process when a program cd was included with the product. The so called manual that comes with the printer is useless. It took me a while to figure out how to scan an item...still not sure what all can be scanned. Next purchase (printer or computer) will be done locally and not sure if I will stick with HP in the future

Also, I find it easier to make copies or scan from a glass top vs a document feeder. I purchased the HP ENVY 6055e which has a glass top.

Took a long time for me to figure out how to scan a document that was not in a file. It was simple after I figured it out and worked fine. Printer is a little slower than I expected. Had an earlier HP printer that claimed the same speed but was faster than the Deskjet 3755 version. The printer offers a USB version (vs WiFi) but no cable was included. Print quality is good, and printer reacts quickly to print command.

I have ruined 2 important documents using the scanner method cause the document wasn't positioned properly. I like the old printers where you lifted the glass and made your copy. Can;t wait for this to break so I can get a printer using the old copy method. I also had to go to utube to understand how the scanner worked. a NIGHTMARE OF A PRODUCT.

Every time I turn it on, first I have to battle it just to connect to the internet and actually print. Then when it finally connects, the lines are completely messed up and anything I print is unusable for professional work. I want to give HP benefit of the doubt and say I got a bad printer but I mean I paid almost $100 to still go to the library every time I need to print something so….just find something else. This printer ain’t it.

She is continuing her College courses, she & my son live in a smaller apartment. I thought it was the perfect gift for her. She, however, has been trying all day to get this printer to work. It won't set up wireless print. She said the app and software it has her download is NOT COMPATIBLE with the printer anymore & needs to be connected directly to their internet router that is in the living room. This is NOT do-able as she has a small desk work station set up in the bedroom for her school work. Now I feel like the Bad Guy causing her such GRIEF trying to get her birthday gift to work! I AM NOT A HAPPY MOTHER-IN-LAW right now.

Printer software and driver are garbage, wi-fi funtion is non functioning. To top it off I did not realize that it comes with a triple color cartrige. As printers are supposed to get more economical, HP would rather have you through a cartrige out with potentially 90% full of 2 of the 3 colors and 1 empty. Worse purchase for me this decade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and compact Sadly my HP Envy printer died after many years so time for a new one. I went smaller as now retired and basically print recipes and knitting patterns. I enjoy the modern look of this little printer and the small space it requires. It was rather frustrating setting it up. The instructions were great and all went well and easy until I asked it to print It would not even though it was connected and secure with my network and internet. I went through all the robot online instructions and nothing helped. I finally resorted to the chat line and a prolonged wait for an agent. Once I was connected to an agent after over an hour online with him I finally have a printer that works. It was something evidently in the connection between the printer and computer. I let the expert tech take my computer over to figure it out and he was very knowledgeable. I have been using it now for about a week and am really enjoying it. The prints come out looking good and no problems. I do miss the automatic reloading feature when you want to print on both sides of the paper but this is a very basic nice printer. I have used and had excellent luck with HP products, both printers and all in one computers throughout the years.

I still have not had a quality print and the cord in the back of the printer keeps slipping out of the socket. The parts are weak plastic and I now have no option but to return this poor excuse of a printer.

I have tried everything and even had others to check it , but it just doesn't work. It has every thing on it that I need, but nothing works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, Easy To Set Up This all-in-one printer is compact and takes up less room on my desk than I expected. It's easy to set up and comes with easy instructions. Printed pages look great. The only things I don't like about it is that it's noisy and jerky as it prints. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only prints when it wants to Printer pulls 2-3 pages at a time when printing. Also doesn’t like to print emails, only prints partial lines. Sometimes the printing is fine. Other times only pieces of words /sentences are visible.

It never seems to work, and when I try to get help on the HP site, it doesn't recognize the product serial number. I've spent hours today trying to get one document to print and am literally in tears. I've had it for years and its maybe worked correctly 3 times. Seriously, don't waste your money. This product sucks and HP support sucks just as much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would not recommend this printer When ink is low, not empty, has at least 25% left, it stops printing correctly. It will print some lines not all. Its a waste of ink and paper. Ink cartridges aren't cheap, so the printer wasting it when there's no reason to is unacceptable. You have to download an app just to be able to use it which is whatever. When I tell it to print on both sides, it won't. Recently it says theres no paper when there is. If you run out of paper during a print, and then reload it'll start printing the next page but then end with just a bar of black halfway through, again wasting ink. It does not finish the other pages after this. I would rather it just stop and not waste ink or paper and I just print out the pages that didn't print out. I got this because it was a decent size for a college dorm and printing is expensive at my university. But I think it might be more expensive to have this due to the way it wastes ink, paper, and my time.
