Easy to use, gamechanger if you're mobile!
This display has changed how I work from a coffee shop. It fits in my bag and only has one cord to connect from display to laptop.
Looks like it was a new product and took some time to get the drivers uploaded but I had zero issues. Great product!

Great Display! Pricey but great quality
Great product, works seamlessly with my hp probook. Super easy to set up and start using, great display. It allows me to be super flexible with where I work as it is easily set up anywhere. Haven’t used it without my computer being plugged in so I can’t speak to how much it drains the computer battery. Overall super happy with the product, just wish it was a little cheaper.

Not compatible with surface laptop
This monitor is USB C-C type connection and only works if you use hp provided connection cord. This monitor is not compatible with surface laptop. As my lap top doesn't has a USB-C port I cannot use any other adapter or different type of connection to plug this to my laptop. I wasted extra money in buying different cord to plug in but nothing worked. The customer care support is bad. the return process is unnecessarily lengthy and nobody responds properly. I got to chat with one of their representative who said he cannot do anything and I must contact their sales team by calling them at 18008889909 but apparently nobody is available there to answer. I have tried everything and this monitor still does not work. Additionally, you will see many people have had the same issue. HP support is horrible.

Disappointing impossible to return
I've been trying to return this monitor they have made it completely impossible. the lower bottom is to wide and cuts off the screen. Also the usb c does not work with my Samsung Note

Neat and easy, poor resolution for the price
Happy with this monitor. Very easy to use. Slim and very portable. However, the price is high and resolution is low, so relatively poor value. I guess that is in the specs, but I don't really know how to interpret them.

A must for remote work.
This product has exceeded my expectations. Incredibly easy to use and the portability of the monitor is unmatched. If I could change one thing, it would be for it to be wireless, but I understand that’s not what I bought. Definitely a 5 star product!

Travel Monitor
Just the right size with a clear screen and easy to set up and use. Needs a heavier case than what it came with. The screen was damaged in the first month so it seems a bit fragile for continuous travel use. Thank you for honoring the 30 day replacement policy.

Easy to use!
I plugged it into my HP laptop and it began working immediately. I then selected Extend these Displays in the Display settings and now I have two separate screens to work display separate files. It was amazingly easy!

Exceed expectation!
I am very delighted with this feather-weight portable monitor, which connects to my non-HP laptop and no need for any driver software. Now I have two displays side-by-side, and they don't take up too much visual space. Great product - I highly recommend it.

Perfect product and experience
I bought this monitor 2 months ago and I absolutely love it. I have a MacBook and the first time connecting it as a second display was easy. Literally just plug it in and it works perfectly. Screen is crystal clear and zoomed at a good level. It only took 3 days to receive the product too.

Monitor does not work
I have tried everything and this monitor still does not work and is currently a nice paperweight. I recommend not purchasing it. Additionally, you will see many people have had the same issue. Additionally, HP support is horrible.
I have been out of the country for the last few months due to COVId and can’t return it now.
The only good thing about this is the sleeve and the packaging it came it.

A Real Winner Display
The HP E14 G4 Portable Monitor is exactly what I was hoping for - a decent sized monitor that fits on top of my closed Envy laptop. It provides a useful second extended display for my Envy 27 display. The USB-C cable works perfectly with the USB-C connection from my laptop. The Portable Monitor is light in weight and the foldable stand holds the display at a nice angle. I highly recommend this product.

Will Not Connect to an HP Laptop!
I bought this as a xmas gift for my husband as it's needed for work. The monitor never would connect to an HP laptop. I assumed it would since it's the same company. One customer service rep had me connect it to a mac and it worked right away. Sadly not with the needed laptop and HP has been very hard to reach for a return or replacement. Very disappointed.

Good monitor, could be improved upon
Monitor is great, but the USB-C compatibility is not great. Tried to use this monitor with an HP USB-C Universal Dock on an Elitebook 840 G6 but Windows continuously stated that the monitor is not supported. If I direct connected to my Elitebook, it worked fine. Since the 840 G6 only has one USB-C port, my expansion capability is limited due to the limitations on the passthrough USB-C on the monitor. I WOULD recommend this monitor though, just keep in mind port limitations.

Nice addition to the portable "office"!
Quick and simple connection to HP ZBook 15.6in Fury G8 laptop. Plug 'n play.
Great extension of primary desktop with bright, clear output and great resolution. I've used at hotels, conference rooms, and anywhere I need a second monitor for presentations or additional workspace.
Included USB-C 3.2 cable is durable, however at 11.5in is fairly short. You may require something longer for more external positioning options.
Monitor folds nicely and fits in provided sleeve for portability. I carry it everywhere with my laptop.
Great addition, and would purchase again!
