Rare features, but sleep issues
A screen of this size is rare nowadays, and this was the only one I found with USBC, making it invaluable... only problem is when the computer and screen go to sleep the screen never wakes up. The only way I can revive it is to turn it off and back on.

Overall good
I like how easy it is setup to dock in. It's streamlined to have docking and monitor all in one. Shipping was fast and packaging was great. They included plenty of cords to match whatever you are trying to dock. Two concerns however, one is that I had to change my laptop resolution from 4k to match the 1080 for my remote work session to work. That is a compatibility issue with Citrix, but I would have purchased a 4k docking monitor if available. The second concern is that after only two weeks of using the monitor, one of the pixels blew. it's noticeable if there is a bold or dark color displayed in that area.

I’m happy with the monitor but have run into some issues using the docking features through the usb-c cable and it sometimes drops the connection.

Love it.
It’s a little heavy but that’s just the stand so you can rotate it. Love that it telescopes and move up and down.

More proof — if needed — that simple is best
With my husband working from home and having issues switching his work and personal laptops to his single HP 27ea, I surprised him with the E223d. The fact he can dock his work laptop to it with a single USB Type-C has been a godsend since it kept his desk neat and tidy. He's basically a luddite and hates doing cabling so with this solution he's a happy camper...and so am I since I don't have to be his 'IT consultant' quite as much as I used to.
PLUS: Crisp, bright with great color fidelity and the ease of connection that makes living and working with it a simple delight. Oh, and the price is right too.
MINUS: Speakerless (please do smaller monitors with them HP!), for 65 watts the power brick seems big and no Technicolor certification.

Functional and decent display. Works as intended with 2 issues. First, I can't run my 4k monitor daisy chained to this for a true 1 cord experience. If I try it goes to 1920x1080 not 4k. Second, as a dock this monitor could benefit from more ports, usb, display etc.

Minor league printer
This printer is bare bones. Takes very little paper is slow and will not print anything larger than 8X10 pages. I bought it because it was the only all-in-one HP printer able to fax.

Doesn’t Work
I received this monitor from HP to meet my needs of a compatible monitor for college. Opened it up from the box and connected it to my laptop and was receiving no power input or a solid connection to my laptop. Now since I’m passed HP’s return policy of 7 days, I can’t even return this defective monitor. Now it’s just a worthless piece of plastic sitting in a box because it doesn’t work. Very disappointed.

Very sleek monitor
Monitor is very sleek and is a very good monitor to purchase for work purposes. It has all of the functionalities and ports on the back and includes a USB-C cable to boot which is very convenient.
I do have to say that the monitor is small alone and it is very necessary to have a dual monitor setup when using this monitor.
Overall, I would recommend this monitor for businesses. It is very easy to setup as well!
