HP OpenView Storage Data Protector is enterprise data protection that automates routine tasks to maximize the effectiveness of your data protection staff, ensuring recovery from any potential disruption, from Instant Recovery through system or site disaster recovery. It is scalable from a single server to an enterprise; across applications, operating environments, storage, and protection approaches.
The Drive Extension includes the license-to-use (ltu) for one additional used backup drive directly attached to a Windows, NetWare, or Linux (Intel) system. A backup drive can be a tape drive, a logical drive on disk (backup to disk using a file device), or Magneto Optical. The drive can be accessed and managed locally or via the network from a system with any Cell Manager license.
