Decent laptop hampered by an awful screen.
Forced to use this laptop as a business user. It came with HP SureView. The only sure thing is that it is not comfortable for viewing. While the laptop performs well and is well built, the screen causes terrible eye-strain. The vertical viewing angle is far too small even when "SureView" is totally disabled. I have to physically move up and down to see all parts of the screen. It is already causing headaches. It's an ergonomic nightmare. I'd rather have an external film I can remove for more comfortable viewing because privacy isn't needed 100% of the time. Skip this option at all costs.

Solid personal laptop
I have used a company-supplied HP computer for years and liked it so much that when it came time to buy one for myself, I went with a very similar HP model. The price was right during Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It was easy to set up, too. I've not yet had to use the Elite Premium Support number, because I've been able to figure things out (and I'm not very comuter literate).

Today is 9/13/20 I have a two week old elitebook 745 g6 this laptop ran extremely slow i had to update windows i got that done guess what its still extremely slow the only apps i added were google, outlook, and zoom just so you can have an idea of how much space i have left and its still extremely slow (i can literally walk the dog come back and its still loading or time out) the only way it works with speed is by connecting it to ethernet yeah i know whats the point of a laptop if i have to sit around the modem or buy a long cord i dont want anyone having the same problem DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEVICE!!!!! if you have hair you will pull it out
