Poor customer service and unclear product details
I bought the EliteDesk 800 to upgrade our home office PC. Unfortunately, the pre-built version I bought did not come with a built-in WiFi card, and using an Ethernet cable alone was not possible for us. The product description was not clear about the lack of WiFi capability on this computer and I am frankly surprised HP would sell any computer without WiFi capability at all. They do have a reasonable 30 day return policy, but a 5% restocking fee was charged and the customer service lady was unable to provide a waiver of this fee, which seems both exorbitant and unfair given the unclear product description. The computer they sent itself seemed like a quality product, but the reason for the low rating is for the customer service and sales side of things.

Great Computer at nice price
I had a great experience ordering new computers with the HP Sales staff and the computers came faster than stated. I would by directly from HP again the next time I need more computers.

It keeps freezing up
I bought this in December and if I walk away and come back, nothing works. It freezes up and I have to restart. This is just a simple office computer. With very simple programs and files running. I have to shut down and restart constantly. Now my printer isn't picking it up either.

Before I purchased I checked 2 things:
1. it I checked with the agent (Chat online) about the financial options and they told me if I pay with PayPal I could get 12 or 18 months no interests. But after I purchased and paid with PayPal they did not get that deal :( HP told me to contact PayPal and PayPal said they did not have that option so no one took responsibility.
2. Before I purchased it I saw the picture with the connections on it and it had a HDMI connection when I got the computer it came without HDMI. I checked the specs online and it shows it was optional but when I ordered it did not ask me for those options :(

Great fit for a Small Network
I strongly recommend this desktop and especially equipped with the 512 GB SSD. This desktop networked with external backup/storage is a good way for any small organization.

Great Business Computer
I work from home, on a very complicated OS. It involves Ethernet connection with an interactive phone system, with connection to corporate data bases, & the entire corporate customer base. I also am a Songwriter, & use ProTools recording & publication software. The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 rocks. The speed of processing is impressive.
