Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issues Right Out of The Box As soon as I tried to set it up, I noticed the speakers sounded distorted. After contacting tech support, they determined not only was there a problem with the speakers, but that the BIOS is corrupted! DO NOT BUY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hardware but the screen was unusable I will reorder a uhh version at some point but the the display had too much variation to use for graphic work. Felt sturdy and like a great investment if it weren’t for the screen. I returned it of course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Integrated keyboard died in 1st and 2nd laptop. I was really excited when I received this laptop at work. I really wanted to love this laptop. With my 1st laptop the integrated keyboard died within first week. The laptop was 100% not in tablet mode. I tries all of the recommended steps to fix it that HP had on their discussion boards, no luck. We took a NIB laptop and switched hard drives with my current one, magically the keyboard worked just fine. We put the NIB hard drive and put it in that current machine, keyboard still did not work. So obviously it was a hardware issue. Well, 3 weeks later the integrated keyboard in the replacement machine has died as well. No reason from HP why this is happening. Only condescending responses like "are you completely sure you are not on tablet mode?" or "have you tried reinstalling drivers?". They cant break out of their preprogrammed responses and realize its obviously hardware when a hard drive with factory settings still produces a dead keyboard at start up. We couldn't even access BIOS because the keyboard was dead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great but missing the little stuff My computer arrived and the power and performance of the machine is perfect. However there's a lot of little details that are missing. The touchpad for the device came without a cover for the charging port. The device is missing two of the rubber bumpers that go on top of the keyboard section of the device so when it is in tablet mode it doesn't sit on the keys. The power and performance setting although great needed some tuning because I was crashing Autodesk due to the low performance and the fact that the CPU was throttled down to 3 gigahertz. Not big problems but for $2,500 this laptop should have arrived flawless

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique 2 in 1 with Poor Display Upgraded from a Thinkpad Yoga X1. While this is a bit heavier, the Xeon processor, built in Quadro graphics and expandable memory and storage are worth it. Unfortunately my unit was received with a defective screen that is disappointing on a workstation grade product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Learning curve.. HP expert rep helped me to choose this after returning the Omen 17 gaming laptop. When I recieved the laptop I was more than happy with the purchase and the price. I thought the price was out of my budget but I made it work. The learning curve for me is teying to educate myself with what its designed to do, and honestly its a lot. Speed power and just a true form factor from the electronics world that I've been searching for. 4 stars because I would have liked to have the HP 4k screen and VR ready specs. But that is fine. This FHD screen is great and vr is within striking distance.Good job to the designers for this product at HP.
