Perfect and easy
I bought this to go with my new HP laptop. I needed an additional monitor for some of the work I'm doing and after looking at many models I decided to just go with HP. This is a very slim and lightweight monitor yet feel substantial enough to hold up to the travel that I will be doing. I love the magnetic case that sets up into a stand. Connection was easy as was downloading the driver

Light, Portable, and Easy to Wravel with
My wife works from home doing tedious financial data reviews that are on large spreadsheets with contracts also to be considered. She uses two large screens at home to speed the process, but when she travels, she loves to travel, she only has the laptop to work from. She asked me to find her a portable monitor that would enable her to work more effectively when traveling, which turned out to be a fairly difficult task till I went to the HP web sight and found exactly what she wanted and needed in minutes. She loves its lightweight, slim design, and easy setup.

Perfect
I am temporarily working from my dining room table due to the COVID-19 shut downs. I have limited space and purchased this portable monitor so it could be easily put away with my laptop. It is PERFECT. It has clear images, integrates perfectly with my laptop, and exactly meets my need.

Things to Consider
I bought this HP V14 thinking it would be the portable monitor for my HP ProDesk 400 G4.
It seems unable to be the primary display. If I took my computer and one highly portable display, it couldn't be this one. I haven't gotten confirmation on this from tech support.
Not obvious when you buy it, but, you can't (for the same reason) just buy this V14 monitor and a computer....you need to download software onto the computer first. I just want to mention (not complain) about the 60MB download, but I had to go find a DisplayPort adapter and grab a VGA monitor before I could download drivers then see if my monitor was working.
Further, there is no changing the brightness. It's real bright, and sometimes I wish I could save the screen life by turning it down, but, nope. There might be a hack or a backdoor but it's going to take me a while to find it.
So, the appeal for this monitor being "portable" is lost. It is homebound.
At least it doesn't need another power cord. I haven't tried it, but it came with a cable to use a pair of USB2 ports, which is clever. Might be the saving

Finally, a portable monitor that works
This is my 3rd attempt at an inexpensive, quality portable monitor and this one is GREAT. Nice quality case that looks protective and easy plug and play installation. Should have gone with this in the beginning and saved myself weeks of drama.

Awesome additional screen monitor for your laptop. Be careful because once you use it, it's almost impossible to go back to a single screen. Highly recommend this product.
