Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only supports ONE monitor I bought this and just tried it out with my Spectre x360 and my 22er monitors- only to find out that it doesn't support 2 external displays (found in fine print of the instruction manual). I will be returning. But besides that, it really is a great dock. Works well, compact, and aesthetically pleasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm So far it does everything it is supposed to without problem. I just wish I’d read the product documentation a little better. It does not come with a power supply, it does accept the USB-C supply from your laptop. My Envy 560 comes with a barrel supply, so in order to really have just 1 connection to make I need another supply. Other than that. All seems good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a good fit This dock was not a good fit for my 14 inch HP laptop. After contacting HP, they alllowed me to return the unit and suggested another unit. I received the replacement and it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits the Bill I have probably made my purchases backwards. First I purchased a 4K monitor, then I purchased a HP Envy laptop with 4K and couldn't connect it to my monitor. Next I purchased a Targus USB-C docking station that did not work, and returned it. Last I purchased this HP USB-C Mini Dock, which did what it is supposed to do, including 4K, Ethernet, and a few extra USB ports. The only thing I have left to do is find a USB-C charger that will provide power through the Mini Dock to my laptop, so then I will only have one cable going across my desk to my laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Costly, and do not understand why they shipped it I have not yet needed to use this so it gets 2 stars for looking nice on the reserve table. I ordered this with a laptop and had to cancel the order. after doing so within their one hour cancelation rule, they cancelled the laptop but still decided they needed to ship this. Because it plugs into the USB style port on their computer and not on any I have here, it is a very expensive paper weight. Even for what it is, Is very costly. In the future I would not order this from HP, there are other products that do the same thing for a lot less.

Will be purchasing another larger HP docking system for my son. HP has a larger one that did work for my daughter. We purchsed this one for the portability of the unit. Bummer it didn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good computer, but more expensive This computer is working well. it is faster than my old 2 core Asus machine, but not by as much as i expected. A Matlab program on this machine ran in 35 seconds and in 46 on the old 2 core. Good computer, but more expensive than it should be. i expect more for the high price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Dock Great size; Fits in my bag for travel! The dock and USB-C cable have good quality construction. I have found no problems with it yet. One thing to mention. The USB-C port on it is power only, and does not allow data transfer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight I had just purchased a new laptop when I realized I needed a USB dock. I got the HP USB C mini dock and absolutely love it. When I got the dock home I thought the box was empty but no the dock was very lightweight. Which is wonderful for transporting it wherever I need it. Another great feature is the cord has a storage spot on the bottom of the dock. This allows the dock to lay flat on either side. The cable is ver thick, and durable. I even love the blackish white color. With this mini dock I am able to charge while I work. I can expand my workspace by plugging in a drive to the mini dock. Love how it has both the HDMI and VGA port. This mini dock allows me more freedom.

Ethernet especially was a big plus on this hub for me, as well as the ability to charge with type C. Good size and good quality and it feels like it will last a long time. Perfect to throw in my work bag and always have it ready.

It makes it perfect for use with my laptop. When I work form home I hook up my laptop to a 24" monitor and it makes working so much better. Overall a really nice product that I would highly recommend.

This is a perfect option to keep using my perfectly fine laptop with those devices. Works seamlessly.

Maybe it’s because of the vga display that makes it that big, I don’t know. the design of the cord storage is clever, it clips into the back, I thought I would be able to hook it on the something while I travel. The clip on the back is hardy strong enough for that. It looks like a keychain but it’s the size of a tv remote. Works just fine, plugs into my Mac, no setup required.

I use it a lot of times in the business center at hotels I'm staying at to hook up to their monitors so I can use my personal laptop. If I already didn't have a docking station at home this would work as well. Recommended

Wrist strap is useful also to keep tabs on it when I am not using it for my laptop. Really useful product.

I was slightly disappointed a power cord did not come with it, but that was easily remedied. This now lives in my laptop bag. Conveniently sized for on the go, though it would be pretty perfect to save space on my desk all the time.

I was disappointed as when I had one monitor connected to my computer it worked great but once i connected the second one, the other monitor stopped working. I tried both monitors separately and they each worked just fine. I was really looking forward to being able to have the 2 monitors plus my laptop so was disappointed in that. Otherwise it worked good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could be better I use it with my ENVY 15t-ep000 laptop (LT) because of the limited number of ports. It works good, but I would prefer that it had a DVI connector rather than a VGA (or an option on one or the other). I like to minimize the number of disconnects when I go portable. It doesn't have an audio port, so I still have to make that connection directly to the LT along with the power and USB-C to the Mini Dock. It would also be nice if it had more standard USB ports, since I still use them for my old HP printer and HP separate scanner. I merely added a USB port extender to one of the two USB ports. I also miss my old power on/off button on my old A7E34 Docking Station. I didn't have to lift the top to power up with the A7E34. It is small and portable if I want to take it with me, but I rarely do that, so I would prefer it had more of the mentioned capability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice for what it does... This is a nice little dock for what it does, but I misinterpreted the dual monitor ports for dual monitor capability, which it does not have. It's a shame because I have a two monitor setup that I was hoping to use this with. Ok for what it does have, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Buy. This hub is great for use. It is not like a mini sized ones there on market, but is solidly built with braided wire. So this should last for a long time. It also supports fast charging for USB-C, so that is a good use to charge laptop from it or other devices.
