Day one I had every app installed, data moved, Office installed, Outlook configured and my old Windows 7 PC retired. The new HP Z tower with SSD and Windows 10 almost boots instantly! Also connected TV as second monitor via DisplayPort on included AMD Radeon video board

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PC. Bought for Work. I bought this for my Boss. Great machine. I really love HP machines. Setup was a breeze. The boss really likes it. The only thing is I expected different video connections. I had to use some adapters we had laying around to get the monitors to work. That is why I give the features only 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would not even boot up right from the start Right from the start it, this PC only showed strange vertical lines. The most I got is for a message " Protected by HP Sure Start." Then the screen blacked out and it wasn't a monitor issue. This stands in stark contrast to my last HP desktop of similar pedigree. That one has lasted about 10 years and included a 5 year warranty, unlike the current line's 3 year warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great after repair by HP tech This computer is fast and works well for my business applications. Initially, a graphics card was causing issues, but I paid for the onsite service and the HP tech fixed the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value We've purchased eight computers over the last six years for our small business, from Z workstations to mini's. This latest purchase, a Z1, is being used as an mechanical CAD station and is performing well. The one frustration is that it lacks an SD card reader, in spite of the "Internal storage 5-in-1 SD card reader". There is even a small knock-out on the front for the card slot. When it showed up with no card reader and the HP rep indicated that it was an internal connection only, I thought: "No big deal, I'll just order the accessory and install it." In spite of showing specification, HP does NOT have an internal card reader to install for the Z1 computers. After being given conflicting information and incomplete part numbers from a couple of HP reps, I had to give up. So... If you want an internal SD card reader. Good luck with an aftermarket option. Nevertheless, we are please with the performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed I haven't been able to enjoy my product yet. I bought 2 of these with an RX580 video card in each, and both do not have video output. I have to remove the video cards and use the one that is built into the motherboard, and now have to get adapters to be able to use 3 monitors. This was the result after an hour and a half on the phone with HP Support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed Help I had a Customer Service rep help me pick out my PC and (2) monitors. As you can see, I wanted dual monitors. The rep checked on the computer and monitors (2 27" LED) and said that they would work together - no problem. NOPE - the monitors have 1 VGA and 2 HDMI inputs, the computer has 1 HDMI and 2 Display Ports, I get to buy an adapter - that many folks say won't work properly. She also failed to point out that the machine has no wifi / blutooth card - my fault totally, but she might have asked the question --- another expense for the wifi card. It took an abnormally long time to receive the PC, the rep says because FedEx is having trouble in Memphis TN,,, not really my fault. I hope to have the adapter and wifi card delivered and installed before the return option has expired.
