Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Work-from-Home Upgrade! My husband has been in the IT field for coming up on 15 years and myself in blogging and photography for almost four years . A good monitor is worth the price in terms of quality of life at work and productivity to get the job done. The HP Z27N G2 is a welcome addition to our home desk especially while working from home. It’s sitting alongside a (nearly identical) monitor and has effectively doubled the working area. Setup was quick and simple. Just a few minutes out of the box, it was put together (stand is preassembled, just have to click into place) and ready for cabling. The monitor itself has an impressive selection of ports for USB3.0, USB Type C (Video and Data), HDMI, Display Port, DVI and a 3.5MM Audio jack. This allowed us to easily hookup our laptop to both monitors and away it went. In terms of features within the monitor display, I found all of the standard features I’ve come to expect to be there: brightness, contrast, color profiles, power options and more. The image is clear and the display is responsive when working with multimedia files. The only hangup, and it’s quite minor, is that the stand’s height adjustment isn’t as tight as others I’ve used when sliding up and down there’s a bit of play and the monitor will wiggle a bit. Again, it’s very minor, but something to consider if you’ll be constantly moving the height and rotating it up to 90 degrees. Overall, this monitor is a great upgrade and a welcome addition to our daily grind!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great entry level monitor. I purchased this monitor as an external display. This monitor is a great entry level purchase for someone looking to start out. The only draw back is there are no speakers on this monitor, but other than that the monitor is built well. Plenty of ports: thunderbolt (with wattage needed to charge your laptop), usb, usb-c.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall good monitor This monitor has been amazing so far! It comes in a 27” display with perfect pixel density. It’s a 2560 x 1440 resolution that I’m able to see the colors for my photography crystal clear without questioning what colors am I really looking at. They’re super vivid and I’m confident in what I am looking at! Everything has come out amazing after editing with both printing and transferring to usb drive. I love the look and that it’s practically all screen. I would have loved a higher refresh rate and a joystick switch to ease the transition of changing settings. The stand is very sturdy and holds the monitor. It also pairs very well with a monitor arm. I’m very pleased with this monitor and what I have accomplished because of it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Monitor! The Hewlett-Packard HP Z27n G2 27” Monitor is crystal clear for all of my work needs. The interfaces and cords make it extremely easy to connect. It works right out of the box effortlessly, and the screen colors are amazing! It adjusts easily with the included stand, and I was able to hook it up to my computer in less then 10 seconds. I love the HP line because of its versatility at home, and in the workplace. It’s great as a stand alone monitor, or as an addition to existing monitor/ monitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful monitor Works great! It's easy to set up. I use it as a second monitor along with my HP Z27 4K. And it works just as well. Maybe it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as it's 4K counterpart, but, as long as it's in 1080p, it looks just as good.

Also, even after getting the additional required hardware, getting past the "virtual assistant" who wasn't helpful, to an actual human voice was more involved than it should have been

The installation process for this monitor was easy and worked seamlessly for the first time. The large selection of ports allows the user to connect to multiple devices, including tablets and smartphones with the use of USB-C. This monitor delivers clear, crisp and vivid displays with 2560 x 1440 resolution, which are essential for gaming and streaming online movies/television. This monitor is sure to last for a long time through its rigorous testing for quality and longevity. Overall, this is a solid product that I would recommend to others.

The ability to rotate the monitor has come in handy to view long documents. Easy setup with display port to my other monitor. I love the additional USB and USB-C ports on the side. Colors are great with video and games looking awesome. My only gripe is that the resolution is slightly different than the HP Z27 even though they are the same size, so windows across both monitors become slightly distorted. I have this one set for 3620 x 2036 and my old one set to 3840 x 2160. This monitor will not do 3840 x 2160.

I really like that the monitor has anti-glare features especially since my workspace is close to a window and under bright lights. The thin bezel also gives it a sleek look. I'd recommend this monitor!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully designed monitor First off, I love how this monitor looks sitting on my desk. It has a super elegant and sleek profile and looks gorgeous. I also love how much range this has when adjusting the position of the screen. It is really easy to move up, down, left, and right. A lot of my past screens had barely any range of motion, and I have been surprised by how much I like having this. Now to the screen. 27 inches i a perfect size. I personally have two of these monitors side-by-side and love it. The quality is really good as well. I work in we design and so the quality makes a big difference for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Absolutely fantastic monitor, color out of a box is better than a lot of IPS monitor I have had. Another great feature is it can be used horizontally as well as vertical display mode. It also comes up with a selection of connectors that include VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort, and a USB Type C, that helps in providing flexibility to use it with a laptop, desktop or any other compatible devices. The stand gives a lot of flexibility for viewing angles goes up down left right front back. At 27" the screen works great for my designing programs make's my work a lot easier with the color correct view and sharpness, the thin bezel is very nice if I ever decide to add another monitor. Highly recommend this monitor for work or home

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor, but could be a bit brighter This monitor comes very well packed and it's really easy to setup. The included stand easily snaps onto the back and holds the monitor securely and stable, I really like the simplicity and quality of the stand. The picture quality is excellent on this monitor, as I would expect, but I do wish it was a little bit brighter. Now, don't get me wrong, it's plenty bright on its own, but I have a dual monitor setup with an HP Z27 and you can plainly see the difference between the 2 monitors when they are side by side, but it is a different class of monitor. The cable connection options are plentiful but cable management is not that great. The ports point straight down on the back of the monitor, which cases routing of the cables to not be as aesthetically pleasing as it could have been, but it's not bad. My computer does not have the USB-C video output, so I never tried that option but the monitor does support it. I've been using the display port connection method. Another great option this monitor has is picture in picture. It can display 2 different inputs on the monitor at the same time, and it works well. I use it with my personal desktop computer and work-issued laptop at the same time and it's awesome. You just have to remember that each computer has a different mouse/keyboard, LOL. Overall, I recommend this monitor and would definitely buy this again.

I do some creative design work as a part of my job, so color accuracy and resolution quality are paramount. The color accuracy is spot on and the picture is stunning! I have the HP Z27 as well (the 4k version of this, with a few additional bonus features) and this is right on par, quality wise. For a $300-$350 price point, this display can't be beat. It has 1 HDMI 1.4 input, and 1 Displayport 1.2 input. Additionally, there are 3 USB 3.0 ports should you decide to use the upstream USB-C port (which I highly recommend) and you can even daisy-chain monitors via the Displayport in/out ports. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor if you're looking for a color accurate display on a budget!

Performing exactly as expected and comes for good features and ports (including USB-C). I've been using it mainly for working from home but have also watched some streaming videos on it with excellent results - crystal clear picture and refresh rate.

It features an anti-glare panel resolution of 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz and it just has mind boggling crisp and clear imagery. It's super compatible with plenty of ports and very versatile. I'm wholeheartedly delighted!!

First it is very simple to set up. I have a 2 monitor setup currently and it was quick and easy to set up this monitor. I really like how it is so adjustable in all directions. The color calibration on this monitor is perfect. It makes my work easy for choosing colors for designs. No more guess work or having to print to verify colors. The slim end border makes viewing this monitor a joy. No distracting thick frame around your viewing area. This monitor is extremely vivid and sharp. It truly has improved my efficiency and ability to work in front of it for hours on end.

It tilts, swivels, and raises/lowers quite a lot so you can get the perfect ergonomics for your situation. The picture is sharp, the colors are good right out of the box, and it has easily accessible controls for adjusting everything to your liking. This has been perfect for working from home and having a larger screen to work with than my little laptop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear, crisp, great resolution work monitor! This 27inch QHD monitor from HP is an absolute gem for office workers, or the work from home crowd like me! My work involves a lot of spread-sheeting, making power point presentations and typing up analyses. I love the beautifully crisp, high-res QHD monitor with anti-glare coating. Since my work involves a lot of staring at my monitor screen it is absolutely essential for me to have a great monitor. The 27-inch size and compact design means that I can put another 27-inch monitor next to it and use them both to be extra productive! Super easy to set up outside the box. Love that it has USB-C connection since most laptops these days have a USB-C port so I can charge my laptop as well as have it projected on the monitor. The color accuracy is fantastic and the IPS panel ensures that the screen stays visible from all angles. Would highly recommend it to any worker bee whose work involves a ton of coding or working with spreadsheets, docs and presentations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality secondary monitor The new HP Z27n monitor is beautifully designed and works great as a second monitor for my laptop. I'm working from home more these days and the extra screen area is so nice. Although I had a bit of trouble getting it to sync with my macbook pro, I did eventually figure it out and the picture resolution is great. The sleek black design makes the monitor look great and the functionality of the screen swiveling back and forth and up and down, allows me to perfectly position it with ease. I'm pleased with HP's new monitor and would highly recommend it for the majority of needs.

The 27" screen is perfect for my needs, and many times I will work with 2 or even 3 windows open, which makes it for amazing working experience. I don't have to strain my eyes as much as when I had the smaller one. Go better go bigger

It has great 4K display with maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and pictures are sharp from different viewing angles. I like the brightness and using current on 50 but it is super bright. This is super stylish monitor with thing bezel edges which makes it a perfect monitor for office use. Another great feature is it can be used horizontal as well as vertical display mode. It also comes up with wide selection of connectors that include VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort, plus a USB Type C, that help in providing flexibility to use it with either laptop, desktop or any other compatible devices. This Monitor comes up with a strong and sturdy stand which is easy to assemble and fit to monitor. Stand can be rotated or used to adjust the height of monitor which come very handy if you need to adjust the monitor according to your eyesight. Overall quality of product is great, very impressive and coming from a trusted HP brand.

This monitor looks amazing no matter what I am doing. Designing graphics it is always true to the color and everything looks amazing on it. Streaming the graphics on the games have never looked better. Simple and easy to hook up and took just a little tweaking of the settings to where I love having it. I run 2 monitors and this one has became my main monitor. The stand that comes with it is very sturdy and does not move at all when I am typing and doing other things. Its nice and thick so it is made to last. This is a great monitor for anyone that does work on the computer or for gaming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Display This monitor is a total immersive experience. From set up to use, this monitor is very straight forward and simple but yet highly technical. Vivid clear screen that makes you feel apart of the action. Large enough to display a streaming movie or a work on a spreadsheet with no eye strain. At 5ms refresh rate, fast enough to fit in a quick game with no lag. Even better, the monitor not only adjust up and down but it offers a tilt from left to right so you always have the perfect view. Highly recommend this monitor for work or home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Monitor The monitor was easy to put together. I wish that the base was a little bit more stable. It wobbles just a tad bit. Nothing that would make me not want it or to take it back. The directions were very clear and I had it together within just a few minutes. The picture quality was excellent. I was so impressed that I could be cooking in my kitchen and I could be reading a recipe from the monitor in my office in the adjoining room. Sometimes I pull up several frames at the same time and I can see them all very well. It is great for watching movies. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone.

I am a graphic designer and this screen makes doing projects so much easier. I can clearly see every detail of my design work and the large screen size is a plus. The color is on point and what I am mirroring from my laptop look fantastic. What feature I really like about this monitor is how easy it maneuvers. It can be tilted from horizontal to vertical, raise or lower the height and swivel from side to side. What I do wish was included with this monitor are paper instructions. All the instructions are online but I want a physical copy. Putting the monitor onto the stand is very easy to do and the stand is very secure. I like how you can feed the cables through the stand to manage cords easier. The setup is very easy when I was connecting my MacBook Pro to the monitor. The monitor itself has several settings so you can customize the screens appearance. This is a great, high quality monitor. Highly recommend for all designers.

However, the power receptacle is defective. Adjusting the monitor to a lower height interrupts power to the monitor. It required quite a bit of effort to manipulate the power cord plug to a position that facilitated good electrical connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from all the negative reviews are dead wrong i almost didn't buy two of these because there were a couple of reviews that complained about not being able to adjust height and that usb C wasn't functional. These reviewers need to look a little closer. The height and position adjustments are completely comprehensive (up, down, portrait/landscape, tilt, and spin are all there) and hands down the BEST monitor stand I've ever had. There's was a one page paper insert with monitors explaining how to activate the usb c in the menu since its not activated with default settings. Color calibration is consistent, using an x-bright calibration tool. To set brightness to 120 lum required brightness be set at 33 and 34 respectively so there is a ton of brightness overhead if needed . Reflection off surface is very diffuse, almost nonexistent even with bright lights haven't tried in sunlight.

It’s easy to protect the data from prying eyes and easy to see everything I need to see because of the high resolution. It’s easy to assemble and calibrate right out of the box. I have everything I need to work efficiently and effectively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality home office monitors I bought two of these monitors to use for my home office set up. They were easy to use right out of the box. The screens look crystal clear and are very bright. I use them on less than 50% brightness in a well-lit room. I was hoping to use the DisplayPort daisy-chain feature but it turns out Mac OS doesn’t support that functionality. Not the monitor’s fault, I should have done more research. But just be aware in case that functionality is a must for you. Overall very pleased with these monitors.
