The HPE fiber channel switch offers 32GB of embedded performance for use with HPE synergy frames. It features 12 internal ports for servers with up to eight external ports. There are also two uplink external ports. There are 28 total ports on the switch with 20 that are active. The high-speed performance of the SAN switch model is able to handle growing bandwidth and manage the demands of applications such as all-flash storage arrays.
