Rated 5 out of 5 byKing Paul from All the Server We've ever needed and moreThis review is part of an HPE sweepstakes.We have been using HP and Dell Servers for years now and without a doubt the Gen10 DL380 from HP has been the most reliable server I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. For me there is no point in reviewing the technical specifications of a server, as speed and efficiency can come down to what is installed both software and hardware wise as much as your overall network speed and use. A server review should be about 1 thing and that is its reliability. The ProLiant servers we have here (2 380 G8's, 1 380 G9 and 1 380 G10) have never failed us. The G10 is currently being used to host a SQL Server Database AND a MySQL Database. The one is a live database holding all of our customers data and the other an intranet database which holds all of the Live MI that the business uses for its reports. It is imperative to our business that none of these systems are ever off line as it would leave us without our 2 most important data sources and potentially unable to trade. That is how much confidence I have in the ProLiant series of HP Servers and is the reason I would not hesitate to recommend them to any potential customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJeremy R - SPS from HPE has made an already great product even betterI am really impressed by the Gen 10 platform. iLO 5 is an awesome step up from v4 and they have almost fixed all of the complaints that I had with v4. As has been the case for many years now, the servers are well built and designed. Add-ons and upgrades are very easy. Intelligent Provisioning is even better than before.

It's built like a tank and I love how easy it is to expand various components. I have a number of Gen 8 & 9s that are serving me well, and I can tell this Gen 10 will also. I really dig the ILO; relatively easy to set up, with a good set of features.

All very straight forward to setup, no DOA's which is always a bonus.IP system is brilliant, ILO's are quick and simple to setup, store offerings are broad as is the scalability.What more do you want?If you've got the budget, there's nowhere else to look.
