IBM Hardware Management Console

The IBM® 7063-CR1-0000 Management Console lets administrators manage and control IBM Power system resources. Its virtualization management features allow for dynamic resource allocation, the configuration of logical partitions and the use of capacity upgrades on demand. The HMC connects with managed systems via service applications to identify, aggregate and deliver information to IBM for analysis.

With a 6-Core® 2.095 GHz processor, the IBM hardware management console delivers impressive computing power to support demanding tasks. Simultaneous operation of multiple programs is easy with a 32GB DDR4 system memory. The HMC device has four 10 Gb Ethernet™ ports and two USB ™3.0 hub ports on the front and rear side for extensive connectivity with devices.

Store and manage files locally with two 2TB hard disk drives. While SATA yields fast transfer speeds, RAID technology allows for duplication of data onto the second disk for improved read performance. The hardware management device utilizes redundant 1 kW power supplies to ensure operations are running when one supply goes down.
