Gaming Keyboard with Hover Key Design

Kaliber Gaming by IOGEAR is proud to announce the newly designed HVER Aluminum Gaming Keyboard. HVER gets its name from the open frame design with elevated keys that appear to "hover" above the brushed aluminum chassis. Packed with gaming features and good looks, HVER is designed to provide everything gamers need at a price that won't break the bank. HVER's plunger key design provides a solid stroke with that positive feel when engaged- similar to that of a mechanical keyboard. The HVER features premium double injected keycaps for durablility and delivers a lifetime of performance without the key tops ever wearing off. To deliver an exceptional gaming experience, the HVER features 26 anti-ghosting keys, Windows key lockout and a 3-color LED backlighting. HVER comes in two flavors, Imperial White and Black/Gray.

3-Color LED Backlight

The HVER Aluminum Gaming Keyboard adds a bit of flare with functionality through the dedicated lighting button. The LED key lets you set your choice of LED backlight colors Aqua, Green or Blue, or select all three and the backlight will slowly pulse while rotating between them. Multiple dimming levels make it easy to set the proper key illumination when gaming in low light settings.

Plunger Key Design

The HVER features an innovative key structure using low-friction POM plungers that do away with the mushiness, common to membrane designs. The result is a super-smooth, positive keystroke engagement, similar to the feel of a mechanical keyboard.

Double Injected Keycaps

The GKB704L features double injected keycap characters which will last the life of the keyboard, without ever wearing off. The double injection process means that the keycap character material is actually injected into the mold, not printed on the keycap. The key cap color material is then injected around the character to create a keycap that never wears out.

Loaded with Premium Gaming Features

The HVER Gaming Keyboard comes packed with features to take your gaming experience to the next level. HVER features 26 anti-ghosting keys. This means that the keyboard will register all your key presses even when you're mashing multiple keys at the same time, especially in those intense gaming sessions. The GKB704L also has a Windows key lock function that prevents accidentally opening the Windows menu while gaming. The heavy weighted base of the keyboard also increases stability while gaming to prevent sliding.

They are outsourcing the rudest and most inexperienced 3rd world people that do not understand how to make up for shortcomings in broken promises. They transfer you to another line and disconnect on purpose while your waiting. If you order a product and they sold out yours, be prepared to wait upto half a year before they offer something else to you. Your time and patience will not be rewarded with this company

The colors that backlight the keys is great, and the various colors gives you a great choice to choose from to use in different light conditions. The aluminum frame makes it study. I have used other brands of backlighted keyboards and this one is the best one I have purchased.

Overall build quality is good for the price. The 4 star rating is based upon the feel and feedback of the key press, fairly long stroke. Takes a little time to get used to the this feel, especially if you're used to a chicklet style keyboard.

The keyboard has a good feel. The only problem I have with it is that while typing the space bar will cause no space, one space, or two spaces at random when used. After an hour with tech support, they have agreed to replace it. I will update this once the replacement is in.

I was getting tired of all the new wired and wireless keyboards where the keys are getting flatter and starting to lose that tactile feel. I used to love my old IBM keyboard from 20 years ago. Then I ran across this gaming keyboard and it has the same tactile feel of old keyboards but with softer push of the buttons as you type. This keyboard is for my work cubicle so it doesn't have a very professional look to it but it feels great to type on. It has a great hefty solid build to it. It does stand a bit high so its not to ergo friendly. I had to purchase and keyboard wrist rest.
