Unfortunately, like a lot of generics, the charger didn't work. So, I went to the Lenovo website and made sure to purchase the recommended Lenovo charger. It now works great and does everything it needs to do.

I have tried many different chargers that are "compatible" with my Laptop (the Lenovo Ideapad 330S), all of which have failed to actually keep my laptop charged and to work, regardless of if I move around while plugged in. I finally decided to just suck it up and purchase one from the actual Lenovo site while it was on sale and I am glad I did. My laptop stays charged longer and if I move around while plugged up, the cord doesn't fall out or suddenly stop working. Plus, this charger is significantly longer than all of the other ones I tried, making it super convenient if an outlet isn't right next to me. Love this purchase!

The overall purchasing experience would've been better if the customer personnel was a bit more informed about alternatives. I felt she was insistent on me purchasing a more expensive product; it felt a bit like I was being swindled. Since receiving the charger, all's been good. Packaging was also ideal and the manuals that accompanied the charger was great...so many things come with irrelevant QR codes these days.
