However on the second day of using of the machine, it has started making unacceptable level of noise. The screen gets black completely. Took random shutdown. It gets warm so quickly. Not much luck.

My intend is to carry it to travel abroad. This unit has two options for display output. One is a DVI and the other is USB-C. An adapter from USB-C to HDMI 2 is provided. Wireless keyboard and mouse are also included. Therefore it is almost open box and play immediately. I use my tv as my monitor and leave the tiny pc right next to the tv. I can then start using pc remotely. I really enjoy this product.

I have a small computer desk and no space for a big computer (especially since I have a large monitor). Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistently Freeze Up We have purchased 8 of these nano workstations. Several of them have frozen up and become stuck when users try to resume work in the morning. The system just locks up! There is nothing on the displays, and pressing caps/num lock doesn't achieve the on/off lights. It has happened too frequently in the first few days/weeks after deployment. Thereafter, a hard reboot is required. It's happened to workstations only once then they work fine but it has been too frequent/common to ignore. We thought it was due to Windows Updates, but it recently happened to one that wasn't updated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Computer in a Small Body My wife and I decided that we wanted to put a computer on the TV since we enjoy watching all the concerts recently from home that our streaming via facebook and youtube. This saved me from having to use my IPAD or have one my devices streaming to the TV. This PC runs the concerts amazingly and we are able to surf the internet and do anything else on the big screen TV in our living room. This computer also works great for playing movies off our plex server. We have found many ways to use this computer on the TV. The wireless keyboard and mouse is a nice free upgrade compared to the wired keyboard and mice that come with most systems these days under $500. If you are looking for a desktop to do school work that doesn't take up very much space I would recommend this computer.

The first one was missing the wifi and Bluetooth functions. The second crashed and could not be turned back on. I did not try to buy again. I just don't have the time to deal with the hassle of returning.

Windows update and web browsing are all done really fast and same goes to installing programs and copying media to and from its storage especially if your external drive is an SSD as well. Comes with all the latest gen faster USB ports. I got it on sale for less than half the normal price.

I am a University Professor and I wanted something that would run all the technology we are using with Distance (remote) Learning. A lot of my time was being wasted on my other computer, due to how slow it is. With this powerful beast, I am able to run several programs at once. It has saved me time and frustration!

The computer will operating normally, and then all of a sudden the screen will flash and attempt to reload, and then lock up. It is sort of like a blue-screen-of-death situation. This has happened to me several times.

Smaller than a Tiny, bigger than a Stick PC. Full featured. Just add monitor or TV, and off you go. It's not a workstation, but if you need basic computing capability, don't want a big box or a laptop, it might be for you.

Good amount of ports. Uses chipset from a few years ago, but to be expected given the price. Took a while to go thru all the Windows updates. Gets warm, but not overly so when being used. Caught it on sale for $399, tough to beat at this price. Only drawback with size is upgrade options are limited

I went with the most powerful model they make in this size: Limited to 16GB RAM (would have loved to upgrade to 32 or 64 and a 1TB SSD drive (would have loved larger). Given those limitations, it is a powerful machine and easy to set up. Simple and clean. Space-saving small footprint. Absolutely amazing for the size! Add the optional dock and you've got the option for extra storage and peripherals as you could need. I use this for music production. So far, runs DAW and Apps (ProTools, Machine, Komplete, etc.) with no issues or lag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than adequate with a few limitations. I wanted to be able to run dual monitors to work more from home, so my laptop was in need of an update. I thought this “nano” desktop was interesting since it took up hardly any desk space. The original $1249 price is pretty unreasonable, but the sale price of $400 got me to bite. The biggest downside to me, like so many other computer manufacturers these days, is the soldered RAM. It can’t be upgraded if you buy the base model. If you choose to customize it (double the RAM, the price shoots up simply choosing the customize option no longer making it a bargain. Next, all monitors I’ve seen these days have an HDMI input. This doesn’t even have one. However there are plenty of adapters out there to get around this (and it comes with a USB-C to HDMI adapter). So with that and a DisplayPort to HDMI cable, I was in business. The last thing that’s not great is the lack of a SD card reader. A $10 external USB hub/card reader took care of that. Another thing I hadn’t considered was needing an external PC camera. So an extra $50 into this PC, and it does everything I need it to do. A nice thing was the inclusion of a wireless keyboard/mouse combo.

However the big problem I face is many a times it goes to sleep and the only way to wake it up is to unplug and plug it again. That can be atrocious. If there’s a solution to that, it would be worth a star or 2 more.

Performance is good and the compact size and mounting bracket is perfect both on the back of any brand monitor and also attached to the network rack, where we have a few M90n’s functioning in other capacities.

Its light, compact size makes set-up a simple one-hour job. It also simplifies your physical workspace management. And I haven't noticed any performance tradeoffs. The keyboard it comes with is not up to Lenovo's past standard. And it comes with a management app that is very handy. But you cannot control when it runs. You either uninstall it or let the service run continuously. Also, Lenovo customer support, mainly its defective support web site, has declined badly over recent years. Lenovo support is still average, but that's all.

Great performance with the i5 processor, good build quality. Recommended without reservation. Small point of criticism: it had a 512GB SSD, but it showed only 50GB on drive C:. Turned out the partitioning was wrong, the remaining part was unallocated at the end. With Windows this cannot be rectified because the Recovery partition is in the way. Called support, they did not even understand what I was talking about (three different people. Gave up on them (not impressed) and downloaded Partition Magic, which could fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No speaker? I bought this for my wife so that she could work from home. The computer works really well minus a few minor details. It never occurred to me that this PC did not come with an internal speaker of some sort. I understand that it's a small form factor but it should be made clear that it doesn't have one. My wife is not computer literate so i was concerned when she told me that she had to pull the plug to get the computer to shut off. She told me that she held the power button in and nothing happened so she pulled the plug. When I looked at it I found that windows set the power button by default to "sleep mode" instead of power off/on. Just be aware to change this setting out of the box. Other than that it's a nice pc with lots of connections and is pretty fast.

I use for remote into work and this functions great, even with multi monitors. Video drivers are a bit lacking especially considering the lack of a back IO. The unit is very quiet and for light workloads, this is amazing. Friend bought a Mac and paid sooooo much for it. This miniature machine does everything they wanted their Mac for but for a fraction of the cost. Overall, a great purchase and have been very happy.

No immediate plans to upgrade the internal storage from 500GB, but it is a possibility for client computers. Most certainly freed up acres of desk real estate which is great now that I have a 32" curved monitor; the unit sits on the monitor stand, easily accessed. My only complaint is the mouse; it is inconsistent with the quality of the keyboard with sharp edges and poor construction that frequently falls apart when picked up. Connected my old reliable Microsoft mouse using up another USB port for another receiver. Maybe a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard are in the near future.

I also have a small desk and the laptop took up too much space. this device is very compact, and I was able to place it below my monitor and out of the way. It is fast and works great with my large spreadsheets and meeting software without being bogged down. It is a great product and I would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, fast, and a great buy I've had my M90n for about a month now. It's small and fast, and has plenty of ports. My model was 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It's hooked up to a Dell D6000 docking station into which I have two monitors and a wireless keyboard mouse/keyboard combination plugged.It takes up just a tiny bit of my desktop, but keep in mind that while it's small, the cables that come from it will require some desk space as well. Setup was easy and WiFi speed is as good as any other device I have in the house (don't forget to screw on the antenna, it's small and easy to miss. The keyboard and mouse that come with it work fine; the mouse feels cheap but it's surprisingly comfortable to use. Keep in mind the only video ports for M90n are DisplayPort, which is not the standard HDMI port. It does come with a USB-C to HDMI connector to remedy that. If you really need both USB-C ports you can buy HDMI/DisplayPort adapters. I use this computer for personal business (email, browsing, Office365) and also do a lot of Photoshop and Lightroom work. Photoshop is snappy due to the memory and SSD. For the power and specs this machine has, you can't beat the price. I looked high and low and was not able to find another desktop or laptop even close to these specs for the price. Definitely worth every penny and more.

Previous reviews stated that the fan is noisy, but actually it is very quiet. Much quieter than my laptop. I actually dont even hear it. Lots of ports, easy to dock. I chose this SFF instead do f laptop since I'll only be using it at my home of office and can easily dock at both locations. With Eliminating the screen and battery power supply I think I will get a longer useful life than a laptop. Happy w/ my purchase.

Which then means i have to reboot everything i'm working on. It was happening once a week now every other day. And checking the inet you know there's an issue when so many write about it. I tried some of the inet recommendations to no avail. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Support thought this was a sleep/wake issue and replaced the motherboard. Wrong diagnosis. After researching, I stopped using the usb for display and use display port. It work okay. Still if you want to use usb for display, you won't be able to see it after waking up. 2. The in built speaker does not work. It work for few hours after first install then stopped. Again after the motherboard change it worked for few hours and then it stopped working. I have a small bluetooth speaker connected and use it.

I've not had any of the issues coming out of sleep (although I did disable hibernation nor can I hear the fan (it is on the other side of the room from me). All in all I'm totally happy with it, feel it was a great value, and would buy it again.

After the Great Water Spill of 2020, I had to buy a new computer and I wanted another Lenovo mini PC, the same as my last two computers. I'd still be using the previous one if I hadn't been so careless. The M90n is even smaller than my former mini PC, purchased in 2017, which I thought was pretty small. This one has the same specs and is maybe half the size. It's only a little bigger than my cell phone. Pretty amazing. I'm in the new-and-swift period right now, when the hard drive isn't clogged up with nonsense, so I'm really appreciating the speed. Paired with the new monitor I got from Lenovo, it's all great. And the salesperson at Lenovo was wonderful. Many thanks.

This PC will be primarily used for SSH & RDP access to the office and other network management tools. It's replacing a Intel Compute Stick so a significant increase in performance.

And the shading for the different steps showing on/off and hook ups was confusing. I wound up going to the lenovo site for manuals and having the entire manual printed. I also had some problems with ordering as things would not be the same from when I spoke with my sales person and then the order would come through but something we spoke about would have been dropped from the order strangely. I was able to custom build. But the dropping of items happened 2-3 times and the last time resulted in a time delay in setting up as my hdmi adapter cord for the monitor was dropped off the order and I did not catch it. I tried to contact sales as tech could not help and got no response. I ordered the cord and wanted the Lenovo cord instead of a generic brand - so that took almost two weeks as the order went through Hong Kong. Seems Lenovo could have a US shipping site for this. These are mainly ordering/people issues. The size of the ThinkCentre is perfect and now that it is hooked up and working I have not encountered any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bargain, "It's got 7!" A Dream Machine I had to take my new desk top to my local Best Buy to get an adapter for my monitor (it fit inside my small purse. You would not believe the attention I got from all the guys. Best comment, "It's got 7!" It is a dream, not much larger than a smart phone and even though I know very little about computers, the Best Buy guys were REALLY impressed. Note to self: next time: see about software bundles before finishing purchase, didn't realize Microsoft Office wasn't loaded in. Absolutely best thing about this purchase? The Chat rep took a list of what I was looking for, in five minutes found it for under $600, the easiest purchase I've ever made for tech.

It could use a few more USB ports but its tiny size means a compromise had to be made. The desktop is the size of a paperback and nearly noiseless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool gadget I bought this to replace a laptop that I used as a desktop. Small out of the way, unobtrusive with enough ports to handle all my use cases with ease. I use it for Home and Home Office duties such a Outlook email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint accessing the Web. I bought a DP to HDMI cable for my screen and used my existing Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The I7 chip, 16GB memory and 512GB SSD works the same as a large box with a much lower energy consumption. The fan only runs when required and it is a little noisy, but good white noise to shield outside noise. Initially thought to change out for a ThinkStation Tiny when I heard the noise, but got used to it. It was very easy to set up - plug in, power up, access my network, copy files from old machine to new, accessed my leased software such as MS-Office, Onedrive, Norton and installed a few other apps and I was on my way. Not for everyone, but if you want something to just work, this is it. Does not look very impressive and will not wow your friends with flashing lights and a transparent case, but will be out of way so that you can carry on with the job at hand.

This is the exact computer type ie nano I needed to replace my tried and true but under powered 4 year old Kangaroo PC. The Lenovo Nano is a huge jump from the slow Atom based Kangaroo. Having the latest tech is wonderful. Its fast and has plenty of ports. Feels rugged so no worries taking it with you on the road. I waited a year for this unit to go on sale! The three year warranty makes it a no brainier for me. Excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A few WOWs and a few thoughts! My first WOW factor was the size of the base unit. I have an iPhone and the computer does not take much more desktop space than that. My second WOW was the speed of the computer. My previous computer was also an I7 approximately a decade old in vintage, however, this computer seems to ”magically” multiply the same provided internet speed. Truth be told I have likely not let loaded on all the excess weight we gather with computer use and age to slow it down, but I expect this real small computer will carry a lot of weight! Few things, I have encountered. Not unique to Lenovo but why can’t we get better install documentation? I know a picture is said to be worth a 1000 words, but the pictures provided are worth only about 62 words! The install on the computer was relative simple, but in reality that is depended on ”you know who” and that is another windy path that needs to be navigated, that is little more complex when you are changing computers. An ironic problem I have encountered is that when I put the computer to “sleep“ it instantly wakes up and when I put it on “shutdown” it restarts! I checked the power plan and it on ”Lenovo default plan”. Maybe it just has too much WOW power to sleep, but I have not had enough time to sort it out let. On the I/0 front I would still like to have a HDMI port on the unit. This unit has only a DisplayPort meaning a trip to the store in these troubled times or waiting 30 days for an internet order for yet another type of cable.

This mini PC is the future of computing and absolutely blew my mind how such a small PC could provide so many capabilities. Understanding this is a “mini,” PC, I was not expecting a PC that could fit in your pocket to arrive. Absolutely amazed and excited to see what Lenovo comes out with next.

Perfect for a home media center and/or a regular office computer use. It comes with a set of wireless mouse and keyboard. Also includes a USB-C to DP adaptor. other than this one. i also get 4 of the combo (with a 23" monitor for $100 more) One thing I would like it to be improved tho. if the power for the computer can be run off the monitor would be great, instead of connecting two power adaptor. otherwise it is a Great "All-in-One" station.

Once thing to consider is that the optional VESA mounting bracket did not include screws to mount the PC to it. We use it for general information in front of office and can also switch over and use it as a station for online orders when needed.

I came across the new Lenovo and purchased it with the 16gb, 1TB config.. i've been using it for a little over a month and it is performing very well. It generally doesn't lag and moves super fast. If i have 10+ tabs open or am processing a large amount of data in excel - it may not be instantaneous but overall performs incredibly well. The small size of it makes it perfect for a desk without a lot of room and the ports are perfect for my use. Would recommend 100%

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Expectations of M90n...will update w/ new PC Had high expectations of speed and build quality for m90n despite small size and discounted price. Did not get to validate either speed or build quality because the PC stopped booting after initial setup. M90n would not boot past the Lenovo screen and customer/technical support advised sending device in for service or returning it if possible for replacement. I opted for exchange and now waiting for new device to be sent after sending back my broken version. I have had other Lenovo devices and hope this was just bad luck. Will update this review if the replacement comes in and works to meet my high expectations.

I was looking for a simple little Windows machine that would be able to run some basic productivity apps (Quicken in particular) to sit alongside my main Mac system. Most mini-pc systems always seemed to come in some really watered down version (old cpu, little memory, big box, etc). At $399 for a full system (8th gen i5, 8gb ram, 512 SSD, with Windows 10 Pro), thats actually a ridiculously pretty sweet deal for something so small. I really would have liked to have received a restoration USB drive with it. The deal I got came with a keyboard & mouse, neither of which I needed or am using, but I figure it is only a few dollars wasted. Plugged it in, up it came, and a little bit later I was I'd gotten the latest security updates (not many which was nice) and I was zipping along. The only bloatware I could immediately find was Lenovo Vantage software, and that doesn't even auto-launch. The machine was about as close to a pristine Windows setup as I could imagine. Performance wise, it works really pretty well. Everything loads nice and quick, windows are snappy, it feels just nice and quick. Quicken itself works pretty well, although it is bogged down by a lot of old legacy cruft. I'm actually connecting to it via Remote Desktop on my Mac, so I don't even need it located by my machine. it would actually work really nicely as a small home server I suspect. The unit does run a little warm, and an internal fan will switch on occassionally which isn't super loud but is noticeable. I think some additional heat sink fins would have been useful, or maybe make it a little larger to allow for more cooling, but usually its pretty silent. The cool thing is the unit is so small, I could easily see hauling it to a different location, granted that place had a monitor hookup, versus hauling around a laptop. If I had to go back and forth from an office to home, it would make an excellent portable device, given I had monitor / keyboard / mouse in both locations. As as little home office machine, its really serving me quite well, especially for something that could fit in the size of my hand.

It also comes with a set of mouse and keyboard. It works pretty fast so I guess it'll be great for some regular games. I am also happy to see many usb ports so it can be easily connect to multiple usb devices. The only thing that I wish it could have is a keyboard with a touchpad instead of a mouse and a keyboard. I assume many of us would like to use it with an HD TV or projector so it's a little difficult to play with both keyboard and mouse when I sit in my couch..

The M90n contained increased speed in a small form factor. I have mounted it on the back of my monitor completely out of the way. Yes, cable management for the devices attached was a concern but I've got it under control. The M90n is practically un-noticeable but with the various USB 3.0 ports, USB-C to HDMI and headphone / speaker port it has been a great addition.

With the possibe exception of Microsoft Office 365, it was not loaded with undesireable software that I had to remove. Getting started was really easy, but it makes me wonder, and worry, about how much of my information Microsoft keeps on their servers and how secure it is.

The replacement was probably a refurbished unit that was damaged in transit (reused tape on the box and labels). Customer service lost my documents twice.

I needed a new computer and I have been contemplating replacing my laptop with a desktop computer since I usually just connected the laptop to my big screen TV via HDMI and used a wireless keyboard/mouse. The issue I had with getting a tower was the size and portability, well this nano was exactly what I was looking for! The M90n comes with a USB-C to HDMI adapter so I was quickly able to use this on my tv without needing a DP to HDMI cord (which I ordered on amazon for my upstairs tv so I can swap quickly, but that cord took a while to arrive). I absolutely love this device - the SSD makes quick work of booting and loading programs, plenty of storage for me at 512GB with the option to use an external drive through one of the USB 3.1 ports or even the USB-C port. Plenty of Ram, 16GB, which is good since it is NOT upgradeable since it is soldered. Mine has the Intel I7 8th gen processor, so it is pretty efficient. All these are similar specs to my HP Envy Laptop that I have replaced and the Lenovo M90n easily outperforms the HP hands down.

The port selections are adequate (wish there was an HDMI or DVI to handle older displays) but the wireless keyboard and mouse make up for this. Highly recommend this unit - bought one originally for my mom and fell in love w/ it so much that I bought one for me as well.

I'm amazed at how they were able to pack all the power and performance into such a tiny PC and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The SSD is very fast and I tested it out by connecting it to my TV, no issues with 4K resolution, played YouTube at 4K without any stuttering. WiFi speeds were fast, and the wireless mouse and keyboard worked right out of the box. It comes with a display-port to HDMI adaptor, but I just got a straight DisplayPort to hdmi cable. Great little pc!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tiny but powerful PC. This tiny PC it is powerful, at least for all common office task is super fast. Working with Excel, word, internet navigation, all work perfectly. I have been able to play Halo Master Chief collection with no issues. The ports variety is very good, the only port missing is an HDMI output but I got my M90n with a USB-C to HDMI adapter. I am planning on also use it to do some development, and I think it will be good enough for that too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect For a College Setting Ordered this to complement a college student's MacBook for work flows that are easier/make more sense to use windows on and not take up a bunch of space doing so. Perfect amount of power for basic office productivity tasks. Can't comment on more intensive workloads but for things like Excel/PowerPoint this will get the job done. Eventually when college is over it will probably end up being converted to media center usage because of its small footprint and silent operation.

I don't think you can find too many computers on the market this small with an i7, it really does do a capable job with most functions and I've run 4K rendering projects in good time using this computer, my advice is go with 16GB of RAM and you won't regret it.

And the machine is super tiny, a little larger than two decks of cardslaid end to end. But, wow, is this machine noisy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from powerful little machine. feels solid on build! small and powerful machine. would have loved for it to have had a hdmi port. dp and usbc make it difficult to use it immediately. am glad they gave a usbc-hdmi adapter for immediate connection (before i could shop for another dp hdmi cable for the second monitor) - it is a laptop minus screen, minus keyboard, minus trackpad and more importantly, minus microphone (that was expected for the small size!) - so you will need a headset for all your social interactions during the covid stay at home period

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good for home office I got it for my parents as their 10 year old Phenon X3 died after a power outage. This little system is fast and very little. The first time I turned it on I had some troubles waking it up after it went into sleep, but it looks like it's better now. My only complain is that it's easy to run out of USB ports (I used an old external hard drive that used 2 ports for power and external DVD drives often use 2 ports too) and I wish the included keyboard and mouse used bluetooth and didn't occupy a USB for the receiver. I like large SSD, low power and small size. I give 3 start for features as it has no optical disc and simple built in graphics adapter and it's not upgradeable, but CPU and memory are enough for home office and the SSD drive is quite large. I can't comment on reliability yet.

Because essential input (monitor adapter, audio, USB) are positioned on both sides of the device, cables end up taking up more space than any device with rear inputs. Additionally, the USB-C display input is miserable and any movement prompts the display to disconnect because it is fundamentally unstable. Also, the 2nd USB-C port cannot be used to connect a 2nd display; there is a different port for a 2nd monitor but Lenovo offers NO instructions or a means of directing you to the proper adapter. I would return this if I had known of these shortfalls before the 14 day window. Unfortunately I couldn't access the device until 10 days after the purchase date. My worst Lenovo purchase.

It is super fast when I have multiple windows open. I wish I bought a stand when I ordered it because it was getting hot but I put it in sleep mode and it no longer heats up which is great. Love the design, that it is wireless and has a Bluetooth.

Had to call tech support and after a long call which lasted almost one hour, I was advised to get it replaced. Not sure if Lenovo does QC on the machine before shipping to customers but my machine was sure a miss. Not expected from Lenovo. Hopefully the replacement machine works without issues.

Way lighter than a laptop and is like a small USB drive. Extremely powerful with an i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD do you are future proof. The primary audience for this would be offices, home offices, desktop replacement. Does not take space and you no longer need a big tower. Highly recommended with Lenovo quality. A++++ product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performer. Another home run by Lenovo! Great little machine. A previous reviewer commented that the fan was loud when the CPU is under a heavy load. I don't believe that's the case. I put the processor through some heavy work and the fan was fairly quiet. I compare the fan noise to that of a higher end laptop. It's barely noticeable. I don't understand why these and the Lenovo tiny PC's aren't more popular. They work hard and take up far less space than a standard PC. Mount this on the back of a monitor using a VESA mount and you won't even know it's there.

The rear connectors for USB, Ethernet and DisplayPort let the cables hang off the rear and front facing USB ports make it easy to attach temporary devices without having to reach around back to do so. I wish it came with a vesa mount rather than the keyboard and mouse--both of the latter are nice, but I would rather use what I already have (I suspect most people already have a keyboard and mouse they already use and like and get a mount instead. Right now I am mounting it to the back of my ThinkVision monitor with the m90n resting on a 1.5-inch L bracket (which I happened to have lying around) in one of the vesa holes and using velcro to keep the rest of the unit attached to the back of the monitor. Also, do check your settings when you begin using it--I attached a usb hub and it stopped working (my attached mouse dongle and other peripherals stopped working) until I realised that the default setting for the USB port on the m90n is to shut the USB ports down when not actively in use after a period of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PC in a small package Ultra small factor, very easy to setup, glad they provided a USB to HDMI cable for seamless transition from my older system, SSD makes it fast, 8 gb memory is sufficient for running all applications, including office suite, I would have gladly done an upgrade to memory if they had let me to accommodate gaming, although I was able to start a minecraft server on it easily. The included keyboard and mouse are good, with less travel keys, and the wireless mouse does its job well too.

Small enough that it would be easy to pack up and relocate the entire system, given a monitor for this purpose. I also needed a VGA adapter for my monitor.

So when I decided I only needed the CPU for another location, I decided to look with Lenovo 1st. I generally like to compare prices before any purchase, but this unit was part of a GREAT group of items on sale that I could not pass it up. If I could buy this again, I would buy it with the higher end configuration. The fan goes off once in a while, and it is extremely loud. However, it doesn’t seem like it is that hot. Weird. Maybe it is because I’m using a single USB C to connect to both the monitor and use it as power supply.

Originally purchased for work as a video conferencing and training unit. I've since purchased one for home as part of our media center. My only concern at this point is that it seems to run a little hot, but so far so good.

The WiFi module is very good, did not even have to connect it via Ethernet port which I always prefer, and see no connection issues. The keyboard and mouse included are very comfortable to work with too. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Waiting for CD/DVR reader/writer to see how it functions with that. Also ordered an USB extension cable. Wonderful that it is compact and sits on my desk but that’s a long way from my power source. It was a good value at the discounted price. There was another desktop on sale that I would have preferred. The following day the discount was reduced by several hundred dollars. I could have built that model to fit my specific needs for $150 more than I paid for this base model.

Unfortunately I couldn't find something as small as the Q700 with even close features. At time I wish Lenovo will introduce something as beautiful in the future, yet, I had to move forward and the M90n with irresistible online discount by Lenovo appeared like the best option at the time as dimensions are essential factors for me. It seemed powerful tiny machine with fast i5 processor and reasonable RAM size. No regrets there even knowing it will not catch on the Q700 as a Media Center serious small size desktop. I can find for it so many uses. A good item from Lenovo. Keep it up!

I hope it had a HDMI port, but with 2 USB C it can be easily solved with a cheap adapter. Another point is that the memory are soldered and you can not upgrade it. Overall a good buy.

With 8GB of RAM, an SSD, and an i5 processor, this nano desktop will be very suitable for home use as well as light business use. The only con I would state is the Display Port or USB C output as the two choices for video out. I would have preferred an HDMI Port. This is only a very minor inconvenience to me.

It has an SSD drive and a fast Intel processor, with plenty of RAM, to zip through any applications. The M90n is terrific for my needs, as it provides desktop computational power in a very compact and portable unit that I can slip into a sling bag to take on an airplane. I just plug my M90n into screens, printers, cameras, etc. that I maintain in both my residences and can be fully functional for business in a matter of minutes. The number and variety of ports on this little box is pretty impressive, and the unit runs silent. Also, the unit does not get hot.

But when I use it, I can never count on whether it will start up or not. I press the button and nothing happens. I press the button for 10 seconds and then I usually end up unplugging the machine and plugging it back in. When I do get it started, I can never be sure whether it will work in its fast mode or in it's "I think I am tired" mode. I know a tech guy and he helped me with with the updates that needed to be installed, but then the next day, I am having the same problems. So, my choices are to call my tech guy back or to call Lenovo. My tech guy said that I had purchased a good computer that should do all the things my old computer did and just as fast. I am not finding that to be the case. HELP ME!

I have mine hooked to my TV in the living room primarily used for streaming and video playback from my server. Handles 4K with no issue, however the little fan is noticeable at times when it starts to warm up. So far, have not seen temps get over 70-75 C, but haven't pushed it hard with any computational tasks. Would recommend to anyone looking for a discreet machine, for snappy web browsing, video playback/streaming up to 4K, and light to medium productivity.

I've still got my old computer in the same area as this, and I keep looking at it trying to guess if I could fit 40 or 50 of the Lenovo M90n into the suitcase that was my old computer case. This sits on my desk, giving me a great deal more leg room than I had before. And, I won't be occasionally kicking it as I used to do with the old one. I hadn't planned on buying a new computer at this time, but when the old one died, it forced the issue. Considering the sale price, the quality of build, the speed of operation, and small foot print of this machine, I'm glad the old one is going to live on a farm up north.

It only has 1gb of ram so don’t expect to be able to play a game with graphics or use picture/video editors or anything of that nature. Surprised by how quiet it was. Overall it’s a good purchase for simple computer tasks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little PC Bought this for my son for school. Didn’t know what to expect but it turned out great. I mounted it to the Thinkcenter monitor. He has a smaller student desk so saving space was a huge consideration. Very impressed so far. Has lots of ports and came with a wireless mouse and keyboard. The only cons for us is the location of the headphone jack. When you mount it to the monitor you have to reach around to the back of the monitor and through the tunnel just to access it. Also, it doesn’t actually screw into the monitor that was recommended for it. We may have to unmount it when school starts if it becomes a problem. All in all, I’d recommend it and I’ll probably buy another one for my daughter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice overall very neat. much smaller than i expected (its literally as big as an XL phone). taking out one star only because I wish it had at least 1 more usb port and 1 more display port (i know it comes with usb-c to hdmi connector, but connectors add to more bulk in my opinion). oh and it's fast. boots up faster than a phone, click on an app, it opens before your finger leaves the mouse button.

Installation and setup were a breeze, and it has no trouble running Adobe FrameMaker and Acrobat on a daily basis. It's hard to believe that a computer that's smaller than my hand has this much functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional, space saving, terrific value for money I bought the m90 with an i5 chip (8th gen) and 512GB drive. It is really small, but very functional as it has many ports. Setup was quite easy and the HDMI port provides a very clear picture on my 4K monitor. It came with a wireless keyboard and mouse which work off one dongle. I have not yet put it through some heavy Excel sheets, but it has handled my books in Word quite well. Very pleased with the purchase so far.

Awesome performance in a tiny package. We are using out on a warehouse floor to replace normal SFF machines so the space savings is huge. I do wish it had another DP or HDMI port but we are getting by with a little USB-C dock. Overall you can't beat the current deal for what you get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful desktop in a very tiny case I bought this from Lenovo ads, and this is my first time trying a super-tiny desktop, it turns out this M90n surprised me very much, very small but powerful enough for my regular work, have all the features I needed such as Wifi, Bluetooth, regular USB and Type-C ports, etc, and I'm more excited with its graphic card builtin which support super high resolution... and with its nicely designed case, it's like a little toy you want to hold it forever :)

The delivered box was large until I realized it came with a wireless keyboard and mouse. There is also a USB-C to HDMI adapter included. The physical dimension of the PC is slightly smaller than my hand. No expansion options but that's fine for what I am using it. It took total of 10 minutes to open the box, plug in and then boot it up. Another 5 minutes and I have it set up and on the internet. The i5 and 8g memory is more than sufficient for the browsing, downloading use. Response time was fast. The intel graphics is fine. Since you cannot open it and upgrade, you are stuck with the intel graphics. Couple of items I wished this tiny PC has: 1. A DP-DP cable included would be nice. The PC has a DP port. I ended up getting a cable from Amazon. 2. Memory expansion - this PC has 8GB soldered and there is no way to open it up and upgrade. Would be nice if this is possible.

Major Advantages:- - Compact in Size. - Fastest in Performance - Clever in Auto recovery. One Disadvantage:- - I could sees some frequent crash. i.e. due to the latest Windows 10 update. So I stop the windows update. now its look good. This is not with the Lenovo product. but still one drawback I could see here. I will recommend this product for any one looking for a compact and best system.

Started off at my desk for a simple setup and moved to the entertainment center as a Media PC hooked up to the wall mounted TV. next off to the bedroom as Media PC with another wall mounted TV. Finally over the weekend we used it as an outside pool party PC and watched movies projected on the wall and listened to music, all while being powered by a portable power station. I am impressed by the flexibility and speed at which it adapts to any situation we send its way. Very quick to boot and runs without issue.

Actual use compares to my ultra-thin 18 month old 14" Lenovo with i7 processor. It is extremely small and lightweight. It has UHD video output, which is a must for me, as I use all my computers with UHD 55 inch TV. For me, it is much less wear and tear on my body when I am sitting/standing and working on a large TV screen at a distance, as compared glued to a PC monitor.

The small footprint is perfect for a childs desk, and it has the capabilites required for anyone to use the standard school/business use applications. Its snappy, the wireless works great with the external antenna, and the included wireless mouse/keyboard combo are good quality. I couldnt have come across the amazing deal I got on this at a better time due to schools going online during the Pandemic.

We purchased the suggested monitor not realizing the computer actually nestles in the back of the monitor making this the convenience of an all in one without the fear that if the monitor gets damaged the computer is also toast.

This nano is fast and does everything I want it to do. It primary function will be Quick books, and Turbo Tax, for a small business. The M90n, and Windows 10 Pro have been compatible with my HP laser printer, and opticle drive. I am using it with a 27” monitor and video board is giving a great display. My internet speeds are usually 190-200 Gb with WiFi. Thanks for making such a cute-neat product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing power and speed with a tiny footprint I bought this system for my daughter who is in middle school to use for the 2020-2021 school year. The old laptop I had a very slow wifi internet connection and ran very slow overall. While this system is not a laptop, I had an old monitor lying around along with a VGA to HDMI adapter which made connecting the old monitor to this system very easy. The HDMI male from my adapter connects right to the HDMI female on the Lenovo HDMI to USB-C adapter that came with the system, and then you just plug it into the USB-C port on the back of ThinkCentre M90n, and presto, you have yourself a great little system that takes up very little space. The ThinkCentre M90nis super fast. I'm getting wifi connection speeds of 200 to 230mbps where as the old laptop struggled to get 40mbps. I am also amazed that this tiny little computer has a 512GB SSD and an ethernet connection as well. It boots up in a flash. It also has 8gb of RAM which has been plenty of RAM so far for running games and streaming video. It also came with a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. Connection and setup was a breeze. This tiny powerhouse is literally just slightly longer than my cell phone. We could not be happier with this system so far. Well done Lenovo!!

I don't even know before is it also has integrated inner speakers, bluetooth supported already. It also combined with a wireless keyboard + mouse and a USB-C to HDMI adapter in the box which is grate to quick start without buying additional accessories. I'm giving it 4 points of 5 because I think it can be better if it has the HDMI output directly instead of HDMI adapter, plus it will be also great if it has a 3.5mm 1-to-2 adapter (splitter) for the mic/speaker combined interface.

It performed all of my required heavy processing tasks without issue, albeit, at a slower rate as expected from the slower processor. To aide in cooling, I did prop it up so only the lower front edge touched the table and the wires were supported by the power supply. Hence, the loss of one star. A better cooling configuration would be recommended.

I bought this to replace my current studio system as it not only had a higher end processor but also much more RAM. this did not disappoint at all and the small form factor made it just so much easier to work with in my smaller space

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New purchase - so far so good. Ran extremely hot the first day, maybe oils were burning off? Still runs hot, but was told that is normal for small components. We will see how the product runs over time. Windows 10 is very easy to install. Would recommend Lenovo include a DVD reader/burner, USB hub, and stand be listed as accessories at the time of purchase. I don't like guesswork in buying accessories. Will the stand fit? Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far So Good, For the Most Part I like that it's really fast and really small, but I've had a few troubles with auto restarts, etc. that could be settings or maybe something else. I definitely don't love the keyboard and mouse. They are a throw away. You definitely need Bluetooth add on's when possible to save your few slots for other things.

Although we have ample cloud storage, the old-school luddite in me loves having critical files stored locally. This machine gives me everything I need: power, storage, and speed. And it's compact and tough enough for me to transport between offices without concern.

Support sent out a tech but I had already removed it. 2 other machines make a clicking noise while powered on. I’ve read others having the same issues… 2 weeks with a ticket in to support with no response.

The nano form factor is what did it for me as I wanted something small that I could mount to the back of a monitor with the lenovo sandwich kit and tiny pc adapter. performance wise it’s great. I use it as a business only computer to run several mill drills for my gun manufacturing business and I have no complaints.

I can "hear the fan" but, it is not really loud enough to be an issue. Great connectivity options as far as ports in a small footprint. Setup was easy. I do not use it constantly, and I noticed that when it is idle for hours, or after waking from sleep, the internet connection is extremely slow.. to the point of no connection, even though status shows connected ( ethernet used ). A reboot restores fast network response. Not sure if this is hardware or the OS. Overall, very happy with the M90n!

First problem was it goes into sleep and does nothing wake up when mouse or keyboard is moved. Lenovo services It 3 times and it did not help. Now the WiFi keeps loosing connectivity. Total piece of garbage. Not sure if it’s Lenovo or this model. Definitely a mistake and the last one with Lenovo.

The USB 3.1 to HDMI adapter came in handy as I didn't have digital video input to my current monitor. Dual wireless adapter too!

But so far the setup was fairly easy and everything needed to get the PC up and running is included. The one week experience using the M90n was great. System is powerful and smooth. No complains so far.
