Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Gift For A Student (If you have the money) I have been using this computer for about a week and love it. I wanted a sturdy clamshell laptop, this product had the additional benefit of expanding to a bigger screen when I have the room or need for it. Pros: Super Cool Small when in laptop mode Big Screen when fully extended Don't need a laptop bag I just carry it around like a little book. Thinkpad sturdiness-hopefully. Super Cool I won't call them Cons-because I understand where the issues come from, I will just give a slightly more in depth review of individual aspects: Expensive-but you know that Screen switching a little buggy but not significantly so (it could be that when folding the top screen is affected by the magnets of the keyboard and causes the screen to go blank...). Camera-face recognition not working yet. In clamshell mode it is awkwardly positioned (but had to be so) and many programs can't flip the image. It would be nice if there was a (high quality-especially for price paid) camera on the outside to scan documents with/take pictures-but your phone can do that...but that requires more steps...and I guess I can appreciate the design difficulties of figuring out how to stick a camera on the back considering the cover moves back and forth. Keyboard works well. I type a good amount with it and it is fine. I have smaller hands so larger hands may have problems. Some keys are awkward and take getting used to(Especially the ? and ') but they had to compromise to get the size and feel. I am worried about the sturdiness of the keyboard, it was expensive and I hope has some minimal splash protection. It is very cool that it charges while attached. The biggest drawback is that you need to figure out something to do with it when using the computer as a tablet. It does not "clip" on to the back or something, requiring you to find a place to keep it safe while using tablet, making you very self-conscious about using the computer as a tablet because you don't want to lose the keyboard. Mousepad/trackpad is annoying-takes getting used to, nowhere as good as a regular one-irrespective of it's small size, and mine is already showing some dirt/wear/grease which means I hope it won't wear out-which I assume wont happen but will be extremely disappointed if it does. Battery life is fine, I am not a heavy consumer I can plan my day around when I need to charge it-but I really would have liked to have a laptop that I can use a whole day without needing to worry about charging it-especially when this devices greatest attribute is its portability which is destroyed if you have to carry a charger. I had bought a portable usb-c battery pack charger knowing that it didn't have the greatest battery life; however the computers consumption is significantly more that the charge making it too insignificant to bother lugging around the battery pack. The usb-c ports are fine, people complain, but if you know that this is what you are getting yourself into it is totally fine. The laptop pairs very well with bluetooth headphones and if you need you can get a jack. There are only two and one disappears if you prop it up, but still I don't find myself carrying around so much stuff that I want to be plugging in. I never really use the pen so I cannot voice any significant opinion on it, except that it works and is also cool. Screen/Audio quality I didn't really buy this for those aspects, they seem really nice but I am not enough of a audio-visual consumer to be particular. Specs-I am not a heavy user so I have had no problems with my very basic usage. Regarding the folding aspect; like I said I was looking for sturdy clamshell I could carry around and use in all sorts of places, this has the added benefit of becoming a very nice sized screen-which I also use. What I don't really use so much is the half folded/book mode without the keyboard so often (I do sort of use it if I am lying down and trying to look at the screen one-handed where for some reason it is heavy held horizontally and thereby easier in book-mode). Summary: I gave it five stars because it is super cool and happens to be perfect for my specific needs. I love the ability to have a super small sturdy typing surface as well as a large screen tablet running like a regular PC. The quirks are insignificant if someone else is buying it for you-hence the perfect gift. If you are paying for it yourself then you need to evaluate how much the cool factor is worth-you will turn every head-and or if its uber-practicality warrants the price tag. For me the main con was the lower level battery life, there were two smaller cons the lack of something to do with the keyboard when in tablet mode-but I don't know if there is a good solution, and the lack of a camera on the outside-which would also be very difficult to integrate. Generally I am not a detailed reviewer but as there are few reviews floating around, especially from actual paying consumers I felt the situation warranted a more in-depth explanation. I would like to update this review in a couple of months and let people know how it is going then, but I don't know if that option is available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected This device is better than I expected. I wanted something portable small but powerful enough to do the job and so far it has lived up to my expectations. The flexible screen is delicate bit as long as you are careful it doesn't scratch when using the pen. As far as power and battery it easily does the job no issues whatso ever. It's not a gaming laptop but can be used as one for the most part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting edge Being at the bleeding edge does come with some quirks to get used to. To say that this device is beautiful, is a bit of an understatement. A premium product that looks good, but also feels good when holding it in your hands. Lenovo has done a good job in making the folding screen work, via it's dual screen mode (while the new Windows X10 is pending) - all the while working seamlessness with the detachable keyboard and pen. The quirks come with getting used to using the keyboard (fairly small) and a usb c port at the bottom of the screen, although my guess was when planning this they had in mind that you would also purchase the stand. Overall, it's a great product for those looking to be the first set of users and hold something unique in your hands in terms of technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little powerhouse Good design, works well. I wish the keyboard was better the right click is very difficult. I understand the height is a problem, but there should have been some way to add a nub, after all it is a ThinkPad. The screen switching works very well. The screen is amazing. I wish Lenovo offered a case, I had to find something on eBay to protect the unit. There is no face recognition or finger scan, I figure they couldn't fit it into the unit. I wish the second USBC connector wasn't on the bottom when horizontal - it makes it useless. The Tablet X1 also had two connectors, but on the same side which makes more sense. Speed is good, much faster than a typical ATOM or micro computer. I have been using it as a secondary computer and it works really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concept. Having a foldable laptop is aligning with the foldable cell phone concept. The folded size is quite handy but it takes getting used to a dual screen which makes the 13in screen smaller. The keyboard is a great accessory but I would prefer using this in the unfolded screen rather than the folded one which diminishes screen size. Overall, satisfied with the specs and quality feel of the device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nearly ready for prime time. I'm very excited about the Lenovo folding tablet and PC combo. I feel like it's very close to being what it can be, and it has some excellent features. I really like the kickstand that's built in, the little place for the stylus on the side of the keyboard, and the keyboard itself, which works as well as can be expected for such a tiny little thin keyboard. The display is beautiful, probably the nicest display I have, and the size is very convenient. On the other side of the balance sheet, is the operating system and the performance. I'm hoping that Lenovo will be able to spec out the next version of this device somewhat higher in its next iteration. Some of the features are laggy, such as screen rotation, and overall Windows performance. I have a ThinkPad laptop for work, which is excellent. it's a little laggy, but it doesn't need to do all the things that a tablet does. Perhaps next year I will look to repurchase this device, however I'm still not sold on the Windows operating system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but needs improvement X1 Fold is far from perfect. Needs lot of improvement on screen touch, Bluetooth, Tablet mode... Amazing idea but being Gen 1 has lot of issues that are becoming annoying. Sometimes cant even do simple task like working in Microsoft Office. I was so excided to get Fold but using it for two weeks I had to get another laptop just so I can do my job. If I'm paying something as much as X1 Fold I'm expecting it to at least work. I'm hopping issues will be addressed soon. Aside from that Fold is well build and quality is nothing short of ThinkPad brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive but a look into the future The X1 Fold is a beautiful device that is very well made. It definitely has the appearance of a premium product to go along with the premium price. This is a very expensive product but if you have the spare cash to indulge yourself I would recommend the purchase. While the battery life is on the short side and the screen is not really bright enough for outdoor use the rest of the device exceeds expectations. I have a Galaxy Fold 2 and was worried that the fold in this larger screen to be even more visible. It is actually less visible. Lenovo has done a beautiful job of creating a folding screen that hides the crease when it is folded flat. As for performance if your not planning on gaming then the Intel processor is perfectly fine. The combination of folded size and large 13 inch screen unfolded makes it a great travel computer. Once again if you can afford it I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Junk I don’t think I have ever owned a bigger piece of junk as a computer. The computer is incredibly slow, sometimes it takes several seconds to register a tap on the screen. As of lately, the screen has been flickering, and I am getting constant blue screen of death although I have only installed Microsoft office and that’s all I’m using it for. The screen flickering is getting worse, I’ve already wiped the computer and reinstalled windows in that does not change anything with the screen flickering or the blue screen of death which points towards a memory error. This is very disappointing quality and not what I’m used to from Lenovo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Few minor gripes that could be fixed w/ software Opening up the folding screen to Windows Hello and an automatic login is a joy! The screen is bright and very accurate to the touch. The system freezes every now and then, I think this is a system of heavy network load on the SoC. The battery life is better than expected. Sometimes powering on the device from hibernation results in a "critical battery" message even when there is 30% or more charge remaining. Despite the 2-year-old CPU, the light gaming that I do is very smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs improvement Initial setup took over 3 hours as the device shipped with an old version of Windows 10. This caused a delay in my ability to use the device “out of the box”. Also, the device was quite buggy before applying 3 hours worth of updates. I had to install Windows 11 before I could use the IR camera with Windows Hello authentication. All of this could have been corrected by installing an updated image before shipping the device. I understand that this device was probably in box on a warehouse shelf for months, but the consumer experience would have been greatly improved by updating all of the software before the device made it to the consumer [me]. This process is ripe for improvement. I also have more patience for new technology than most and am willing to tolerate bugs while waiting hours for software fixes to download. Where I live has the fastest internet in the country…imagine my experience if I had slower internet. The battery on this device is performing better than I expected. I’ve used it for a couple of hours on and off for the last 3 days without needing to charge it once. However, when I close it and it goes to sleep, the next day I get a “your battery is critically low” message when I unfold it and boot it back up. I think this is a battery firmware issue as the device still has over 30% battery. I can clear the message and continue to work. It should just wake up open opening, but its shutting down while folded because it thinks the battery is critically low. This could be a battery firmware issue or a driver maybe. Either way, I think it can be fixed with a software update. Lastly, upgrading the M.2 SSD seems ridiculously complex. I've watched Lenovo’s own teardown video and don’t think I’ll be attempting it for fear of voiding the warranty. Maybe instead of double-sided tape, magnets could have been used to keep the leather folio in place. There is a removable panel on the backside of the device which inexplicably allows access to a few ribbon cables. I wouldn't consider that “user serviceable”. I understand design and engineering decisions had to be made to produce such a revolutionary device, I just don’t see the point of the removable panel if removing it reveals nothing to access/upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from But the X1 now it’s what you’ve wanted Cool product and they thought ahead for a many of the issues you’ll face. Biggest downfall is only 2 USB-C ports. Takes a minute to get used to but super convenient a lot easier then lugging a bag around. Now fact that the ram is limited makes this more of a giant notebook then a labtop. But when your in a creative space working with others or just brainstorming this is the right product. Allows you to focus on the project and not be distracted by all the stuff your normal computer would have on it. 4 stars because of battery life, cap on ram, and the pen functions take some getting used to

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s nice but It’s nice but the lack of thunderbolt is sorely missing. I’m not sure if the processor supports it but it feels like buying a laptop over $1,000 it should be required to have at least one thunderbolt to connect to a dock and use it. Other than that everything was amazing, the bend was barely noticeable in daily use, windows 10 had some issues here and they’re trying to do the dual screen which the Lenovo was able to fix with bug fixes. The color accuracy and the color of the screen was absolutely astounding probably one of the best laptop screens I’ve ever used in the last 20 years. This device is definitely a content, consuming and creation beast. Sadly, the lack of there being a permanent place for the pen besides, it being inside the keyboard does leave a poor taste in my mouth. I’ve almost broken it a few times taking it out of my book bag because it got caught on something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device with expected limitations Let me say that I love this machine. While it might not be the most powerful horse in the stable it offers me a device that is more than comparable to the Surface Pro that I have (v3). I'm currently using it as a mobile device that allows me to play with things like Adobe InDesign and Captivate on the move, which is basically what I bought it for (along with the cool factor). Here, the sheer ability to hand the device around makes for really cool experiences and, further, the pen-based interface works really well, too. (I wish that I could use it for Blender but, alas, with anything complex the Fold is not powerful enough. So, no surprise there.) The battery power is not quite what I was hoping based upon initial research. It's not a "day computer" but it does serve as a "coffee shop computer". What I mean by that is that I'm totally comfortable using it in low-level meetings where I have to work with Adobe- and MS-level software. With a 2-3 hour meeting the Fold works really well. I'm not sure that I would trust it for more than that. I'm not a fan of the keyboard. It works, of course, and works well. The only problem that I had was that it failed the first time that I tried to use it in a meeting (it ddin't seem to charge from the Fold), and the compact from factor means that you have to learn oodles of key-combinations to get common icons like hyphens, underscores etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving It! Hey, if this is first gen, it basically compares with creating life out of elements in a test tube. Everything about it is designed to touch, feel and use. Sure it's a little buggy, but once you adjust some settings, it runs great and you can certainly get plenty of work done on it. The screen is gorgeous, the keyboard is firm and tactile. Now, I didn't pay full price for this and I wouldn't have, but with the deals Lenovo is offering on this, it is 100% worth every penny. Very, very satisfied.

However, I've encountered a few glitches with opening and closing the device in half with the keyboard in place, when sometimes the mouse pad and touch input would not be calibrated and will click a third of the way down the screen instead. Also I've encountered a screen flickering issue once time, that only resolved after restarting the device. Besides that, it has increased my work flow at my job (hospital rounding)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Junk What an awful machine. It literally worked for less than thirty minutes and never turned back on again. The little power light would blink, the fan would spin for less than one second, then it would just die. It was fully charged. Tech Support was impossible to reach and knew nothing about this computer. Went to their repair shop who also knew nothing about it. Expect no support from anyone for this one-off model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remarkable and Excellent machine I purchased this 2 weeks ago, after a negative experience with a different company. I am very impressed with this laptop. The screen quality is color-true and bright and crisp and magnificent. The crease is truly invisible when open. The mini keyboard and pen assimilate perfectly. I am a working parent, and need to take my computer with me and log onto my work software "on the fly"-I wanted something small and portable. When folded, it is small enough to sit on my lap in the front seat of my car without hitting the steering wheel--as I sit in my car and answer work emails and call patients while my daughter is at Roller Derby or my son is at Debate. (welcome to working parenthood!). I actually find the small keyboard to be the perfect size for comfortable typing-I don't particulary like having to stretch my fingers or do frequent hand movements to type. This keyboard is a good size for comfortable typing for me. It also folds small enough to fit into a medium sized purse or small bag--which I appreciate, so it isn't obvious to an onlooker than I am carrying a laptop with me. BUT when OPEN-the screen is large and wonderful-I use it as a "kitchen TV" while doing dishes. It also functions well as a tablet and I can hold it to read books and make notes on my reader or PDF applications in the evenings. It almost looks like a book when folded-I love that this marvelous piece of technology is quite "incognito" and small when needed to be so, then quite large when unfolded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Day one NIGHTMARE! I received this item after ordering on lenovo's site. Unboxed it and plugged in to charge. Waited a couple of hours for it to fully charge and hit the power button. It booted to lenovo logo then immediately to fan error text on black screen and never booted to windows. Called tech support and was asked to plug in a external keyboard and was able to boot into windows. Unplugged keyboard and rebooted to same problem fan error hit esc for boot without features. This is a touchscreen first device that can't boot because of boot errors. This is the second lenovo product that I own that has this boot issue. I'm returning this and no more lenovo for me. Thinkpads use to be the best computers, now they just are awful. Day one first boot problem garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The next generation of laptop is here The folding screen has worked flawlessly for a month. What a fun laptop / tablet / touch screen / display with built in easel and a pen! The small format is the biggest benefit of this Lenovo. It's the size of a book. The ULTRA thin keyboard is sandwiched between the "fold" and charges wirelessly. Most of my use, the laptop is docked, this is still a very capable laptop. Although my preference is a mouse, the tiny touchpad functioned fine. It's still a Lenovo, with an excellent Vantage program for configuration, super fast SSD, everything you like in a laptop,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool & quirky, I Iove it, but not for everybody... Easily accomplishes a wow factor... The folding screen and the hinge/for factor is an engineering triumph. Those facts drive the four stars, but consider yourself a beta tester for a first gen product. The Intel chip is a bit slow for my taste, it is a bit slow to wake, and sometimes it forgets the status of landscape/portrait, and netbook/keyboard status with some frequency, especially on startup/wakeup. The touch sensitivity is a bit duller than capacitive glass, and requires repeat touches on occasion... It is a bit laggy in switching between portrait and landscape and the different postures.... More annoying is that it has some power drain in the sleep mode... The colors and blacks on the OLED are beautiful as expected, but it is a bit dim and reflective which impacts outdoor and office lighting situations... I have had to resort to hibernating when on battery to avoid returning to a dead compy, which further slows the start up time. You may want to play around with it hands on before a purchase... Having said that, I am a bit of a dork for new use cases, and I enjoy it despite all its quirks. Looking fwd to firmware/software updates and I truly believe that this may be the future of mobile computing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Gen leading edge product with flaws Used X1 Fold as my work system this week. Running Office apps & statistical analysis software - definitely slower than my existing work laptop but not to the point where it's unusable. Really love the portability, expect this to be my primary system on my next business trip. However, keyboard really is dreadful. Too many typos and compromises with special character key locations. Would suggest purchasing another keyboard for real work and relegate Thinkpad kbd for emergency use only. Location of 1 of USBC ports could be better but simple workaround is possible - cardboard box cutout worked for me. Can play some games - but nothing from last 5-10 years. FWIW, Civ5 is playable. Purchased 1TB version during Lenovo's Black Friday sale and thought it was a good deal. If you need to trade-off portability for power, there are other laptop options of similar weight. Definitely a leading edge product with flaws. Waiting for WIN 11 upgrade notification as I hear it improves X1 Fold functionality. Enjoy! Happy X1 Fold owner

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first gen device, some improvements needed Okay, I actually love this thing! I love the idea of having a full PC that folds up and nearly fits in my pocket. The optional keyboard really sweetens the package as well and was really thoughtfully designed to fit into the gap when folded. This thing looks like a project the engineers truly had some fun with, and created something incredibly unique and special. It's built really well and is very thoughtfully designed, plus it's an absolute joy to use! However, being a first generation device, there are some drawbacks and things I really hope to see in a future updated generation: 1: The processor is SLOWWWW. Even on Windows 11 doing light tasks, I find that the CPU is almost always pegged at 100% and responsiveness suffers because of it. I would like to see some updated and higher end processors used in the future, but still balance with battery life. 2: 8gb memory is not enough. This first gen model only has 8gb of memory and there's no option for more. This might be okay for really light users, but will definitely become a limitation in the near future. For power users, this is especially a serious downside. I want to see more memory options available on future generations. 3: Dim and low-resolution screen. First of all, I love the screen! It's an OLED so the colors are beautiful and it's a joy to look at. However, it's very dim and difficult to see in bright lighting. It also could use a slight bump up in resolution especially considering that this is a touch device where you tend to look at it a little closer and notice the pixels occasionally. 4: User serviceable upgrades. Please Lenovo, hear me out on this one. I know it's tough to pull off with a form factor like this, and space is a premium, but I do think you could do this in a next generation. Please add slots for the SSD and the RAM at minimum and make the installed ones removable. You already kind of have a little door on the back hiding behind the kickstand, now make that door a little bigger and put an M.2 slot and SO-DIMM slot right there under it so you can replace/upgrade the SSD and RAM easily. This would let the device be usable for so much longer and allow for flexibility of specs based on usage. Having it behind a door hidden by the kickstand flap would keep the design sleek while also allowing for easy access without ripping apart the whole device and causing damage to the complicated design of the folding components. I wouldn't mind if the device became a little thicker to accomplish this either, or even just make the whole thing slightly larger (14" perhaps?). Finally, I want to re-state that I love this device and the idea behind it! I want to see it improve and get better for future models and generations. You have something special here Lenovo, now own it, improve it, listen to feedback, and keep it going! I can't wait to hopefully see a 2nd gen of the X1 Fold where hopefully some of my points above are addressed :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty solid little computer with some flaws The lenovo x1 fold is a solid computer but there are a few things I want to note for those thinking of buying it. Overall though I think it is a very good buy especially if you're an artist or one who uses a pen a lot with their tablet. The good 1.The screen looks fantastic 2.Good battery life 3.Small form factor 4.Very versatile 5.Windows hello 6.Eventual sim support on future models The "bad" 1.The speakers are not dual on each side, this is somewhat annoying to deal with when the tablet is flipped and audio only comes from one side it makes content less immersive for the audio experience BUT the speakers do sound good it is their placement that is bad 2. The included bluetooth keyboard has been relatively iffy for me when it comes to connecting but it may be different for you. 3. The software integration is nice but could have more options to choose from for making window settings or snapping when used without the keyboard. 4. The power and volume buttons are not super defined so pressing them by feel in the dark is somewhat more difficult than it could be Improvements or wants for future versions or later updates to current 1.I wish there was a virtual keyboard that also had a virtual trackpad on it was well that would be larger and better positioned that the windows integrated touch keyboard. 2.Speakers on either side for more immersive tablet sound

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A home run! I'm very much an early adopter and was willing to forgive quite a bit in a first generation product, but Lenovo have done an amazing job with the X1 Fold. It has replaced a laptop, a 2-in-1 and my e-reader. My only regret would be not opting for a larger SSD, but that's certainly no criticism of Lenovo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this unique device! This is a unique and fantastic device which has no equal in the market today. I bought ThinkPads back in the late 90s, and really liked them for their quality, design and performance. Nothing has changed with the X1 Fold. It is rugged, high performing, and ultraportable. The OLED screen is bright and vivid. The battery life is more than enough for a full day of use, and the built in 5g modem is fantastic. I have demonstrated 500 mbit/second downloads on TMobile. I find I use the device mostly with the bluetooth keyboard, as a small laptop. When I need a bigger screen, I open it up and stand it up on its stand, and can use it like I used my Surface Pro X with a comparably sized screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good hybrid clamshell / full screen experience This is a review after about a month of use. I was somewhat skeptical of the concept, but after reading some reviews decided it was worth trying out, and I've been pleasantly surprised. The clamshell mode has the feel of a nice ultra-compact laptop, which I've actually been missing for some situations, for example trying to work on a flight or in a cramped lab space. The option to open it up to a full screen makes it still usable in situations where there's a stable surface and room to enjoy the larger screen real estate. I love the way the keyboard fits in the clamshell and charges inductively, but some of the key location choices are frustrating. The apostrophe/quotation marks and colon/semicolon are strangely placed, but that's something you can adapt to. What's much harder are the brackets and braces, which are shared with semicolon and apostrophe, respectively, and require using the Fn key. For anyone who might be trying to do even a modest amount of coding, this will be a major inconvenience. The switch between clamshell and unfolded full screen works better than I expected, but still not entirely seamlessly. I've had to reboot at least once to deal with issues with the switching software in windows. Overall, I would still recommend this device, but be sure that you have a good use case for the clamshell mode. If you think you'll only be using this in full screen mode, you're going to end up with something that's only usable on stationary stable surfaces due to the hinged support while dealing constantly with a weird keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Run away!!! Even at 67% off Well, thought the fold would be a great addition to my phone, Samsung Fold 4, but only booted up about half a dozen times and now won't boot at all. Going through the repair process via Lonovo RMA only a month into my purchase. Not a great sign... I would probably advise anyone wondering about this computer to run for the hills. Glad I didn't pay MSRP for this, the minimal interaction I had with it left me wanting a lot more. The i5 in it is very slow, compared to a MS Surface pro, even the pro X which is an ARM processor. Let's hope my situation is different than most, so far the process for repair has been adequate, we will see how long it takes to get it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My own experience with the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 F The physical design of the computer is overall clever & effective. However the kickstand on the back could stand to be longer to be better balanced & better stable. Windows 10 does not work very fast or efficient on it, sad to say. To me, this is a Microsoft deficiency more than the pc itself. Some programs behave as if they are older & not current. Some programs work really quirky like Audible, for example. For as expensive as this pc is, & it is VERY expensive, I was sad not to get EITHER a proper keyboard or a stylus with it. But those are expensive too. The OS has failed to update to Windows 11 at all. It would be nice to see some external compatible storage. I can only hope, not that I can afford to, that succeeding devices will have some better forethought built in. Great idea but needing quite a bit of work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible This is undoubtedly a great concept, but the delivery is miserable. Out of the box, I was able to get the device to boot once. After that, it was one calamity after another. Every shutdown required reinstalling the OS. Updates? Forget it. The system would immediately blue screen and crash. The miniature keyboard failed to orient itself properly when snapped to the bezel. The pen worked properly less than half of the time. As far as the design is concerned, the keyboard is simply too small. Holding down three and four keys is not practical or intuitive. In the clamshell mode, the screen is minuscule. Maybe in a ridiculously tight space this could prove to be useful, but not under any ordinary circumstances. The bulk of this device when folded also diminishes portability. Overall, it’s a neat idea but a terrible deployment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition I definitely wish it had 1 or 2 more usb-c on it. Lots of updates and firmware downloads but after about 2 weeks of working out kinks I love it. I have it sync across my computers and it’s perfect for on the go and not having to deal with Apps that don’t always work that well. Cons- needs more ports, upgradable or higher ram max out. Built in pen holder besides the strap on the keyboard would be a nice touch. Make it in something other then black.

The CPU may be underpowered, but let's face it not everyone is doing video editing for a living. It is powerful enough to handle all of my workflow as an average business user.
