Both had issues with dead pixels, and now the second one is having issues with burn-in on the screen from windows that sit more than a few minutes. To top it off, I've been trying to get another replacement for well over a month. Every time I contact support, I'm told I'll get a call back. Been waiting on that call back for 6 weeks. Do yourself a favour... go with a different brand!

Once transitioning from my workplace to home, I purchased a new 2020 MacBook Air and upgraded my old Samsung monitor to the Lenovo ThinkVision X1 (2nd Gen. This was the best purchase I've made in a while! Not only is the sleek monitor beautifully crafted with a nice 4K screen (sharp font, crisp colors), it has all the ports (HDMI, Thunderbolt 3/USB-C, DP, USB) and an awesome webcam built-in (a must to compliment any Apple or PC computer). If there is one brand you can trust, it is Lenovo. Plus, for $300+ off, this monitor is a must buy for any workspace! You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance for business apps and Autocad. Great display. I wish it had some height control, but I knew it didn't when I bought it so I can't complaint. For the price, it is very responsive and useful for all business applications, plus Autocad (which is saying something because I have noticed that some displays are tempermental with Autocad). Also, and almost as importantly, the hub functionality and performance is really excellent using the Thunderbolt input and plugged it into my X-1 Yoga (2nd Gen). My mouse, microphone, keyboard work flawlessly and the remaining USB-3 plug, which I use for data--different drives--appears to be quite fast. My only gripe (really worth less than a half star so I did not ding the rating) is that the when I used another input (HDMI) to do some work with a different computer, switching back was not easy because the hub was not automatically recognized. This could be a glitch with the computer (which is a relatively late model Lenovo X-1 series) but it was a surprising bug nonetheless. The fix that worked for me was that I unplugged the monitor did a cold reboot three times (the first two didn't work, third was a charm). Anyways, other than that it has worked flawlessly so far (including the built in camera, by the way, which I have used several times--it would be nice if that had a y axis swivel too, incidentally, but again I knew it didn't have that feature when I bought it so I can't complaint). The bottom line is that for the price I paid (which I think was around 100 off the base price) it is an excellent monitor. It also arrived at my door within 72 hours of the time of my order, even though I did not pay for expedited delivery.

The setup was simple and easy. Attach 3 hardware parts and 2 cables and done. Video quality is stunning and quality of VoIP features is unmatched.

However, the mechanical arm that supports the webcam is faulty. I have contacted Lenovo support for over 6 times and still have not got this issue resolved because they told me they were out of stock on this model. Very disappointed.

I have yet to test the color accuracy, but I expect it to be ok-ish as it is not focused on photo editing. Overall highly recommended, especially if you buy it discounted.

I don't know why but the screen feels very different from the others monitors I used to look at. It's mirror-like and I don't feel the existence of pixels. So elegant and light in design. The rising camera is adorable! Heard that it covers less color range compared to ThinkVision p27u, but I think the color range is well enough for me!

I purchased the ThinkVision X1 (2nd Gen) 27" 4K monitor, received the monitor within 3-5 business days, it was delivered to my home in a very well package box and perfectly protected. I was able to get the monitor unwrapped, assemble, powered up and connected in less than 5 minutes. High quality build, very sturdy stand, the motorized function for the built in camera is great and having the lightning cable connect is amazing! Great picture quality and having the ability to run Low Blue light is a great feature. I will definitely be purchasing another X1 4K in the never future and excited to test the daisy chain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Execelent performance and beautiful design! After trying several monitors and returned them, me and my friend both found this monitor is the perfect match for Mac users. We are both designers, and have a appropriate demand of the monitor quality. The monitor has a high resolution screen, with a color a little bit too vibrant but acceptable. The most wonderful thing is it’s matte surface, which is anti-glare. You can adjust the angle of the screen easily, made it easier to find the best view angle. It supports one Thunderbolt 3 (usb typeC), one Display port, one HDMI. It has an alternative usb type C that can power/charge your device. Nice. The monitor is extremely thin, and elegantly designed. The mechinically retrievable camera behind the screen is a charm! Several downside came from my discussion with my friend: the native color standard is not that neutral, and brightness cannot be automatically adjusted. And there is no height adjustment. However, there are workarounda, but I hope Lenovo can improves this in next version. With this price range, you cannot get any other better monitor with this performance. And I do recommend to people who work in art/design industry and have moderate budget. And I hope Lenovo can prompt this monitor better in the market, cuz the good quality and performance deserved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No driver to support the monitor The monitor is amazing. It is very complicated to install as the driver on the Lenovo page is not working. I called multiple times without anyone helping; however, they want me to pay for technical support when I purchased $$$ expensive brand new monitor. The downside of the monitor is not compatible with VESA mounts. Otherwise, it is a great one cable for electricity and one cable to the laptop. It is a clean set up; however, the speakers of the monitor have basic quality.

It's also very nice to have a thunderbolt 3 dock built into the back of it rather than as a seperate box. The two flies in the ointment are that the speakers are terrible. I have tin ears and still think the speakers sound awful. The other is that the camera is a pointed a bit off center. Nothing to agregious, but it does annoy me.

I have some issues with switching between the two, but I’ve gotten used to disconnecting the Thunderbolt cable, which isn’t too bad. I do wish the monitor height was adjustable.
