The quality is good and it comes with a good usb cable, which many other adapters do not. I'm giving it 4 starts for one reason. It doesn't have a second usb output. Being able to use only one charger to charge two of my devices at the same time is a great boon particularly when I'm traveling. I hope Lenovo can add it to the next versions of this adapter.

There are smaller ones out there, but they don’t carry the 65W punch with quick and smart charging like this one. I actually love this charger more than the original that came with the computer-- it's much more compact, the plug prongs snap back into the case when not in use (so it's even smaller and won't damage or scratch anything I pack it with) and the cord is replaceable. Definitely recommend for anyone who travels with their laptop!

Real light and small, foldable prongs, and able to work with whatever length and type of USB C cable in my inventory. (I am actually using it with a lightning 4 cable, but thats another story.

The smart design also includes folding prongs to ensure it will not snag or rip anything while tightly stuffed in a carry-on bag. I highly recommend this charger for anyone planning to take their laptop along for work or vacation.

It's easy to store and for trips since it's not so big and it comes apart from the cable since it's usb-c so separating it is awesome. I can use this for my laptop, Nintendo switch, cellphone, power banks, it's just amazing. The only thing I would worry is when charging, it does heat up. But it's never hot to the touch. Definitely will be buying this again for a back up.

This charger does significantly increase the battery life if you are. But I didn't get it for heavy gaming, just travel and when setting up in different areas. Also, being USB-C, it can quick charge my phone. I am a little careful with that as it is overpowered and can heat up the battery.

The removable cord also allows me to use it as needed in my car. Because the outlet prongs are at the end of the rectangular cube, the weight distribution of the cube sometimes works against the cube remaining tightly connected to the socket, depending on how it's oriented. Overall, a good cord with good recharge wattage.

Bag space is further helped since I can leave my phone's USB-C charger at home since this fast charges my phone. The charger body will get warm if the pc is quite low on battery when plugged in. I do have a couple of Apple 65W USB C power supplies, but they get pretty warm under heavy load. Lenovo has always designed and built great power supplies. (Don't tell apple, I have been known to take old T42 20V Lenovo power supplies and splice magsafe2 cables onto them as replacements when the apple units would fail due to overheating) When I saw these on sale, I ordered a couple hoping they had the same build quality and low temp operation that I have always seen from Lenovo. I was more than pleasantly surprised; the output is stable, and even near peak load they remain near room temp.

It's a lot smaller than the stock charger and frees up space in my work bag. Has a dense and premium weight to it with the classic ThinkPad matte finish. Having a charger with a removable cable is great, it's an easy replacement if the cable wears out. The included cable is solid though, and feels like it'll last for a long time. Was also pleasantly surprised that it has great support for multiple Power Delivery modes and has no problem fast charging all of my devices.

I use the USB-C power supply to keep in my briefcase for my E15 laptop. It works well, charging the laptop as fast as the brick that came with the PC. As it requires her to be out in the community, she's often taking her laptop with her for meetings. While the X1 Carbon is a very light yet powerful machine, it was a shame to watch her fumble with a traditional brick as she packs it into her bag. Replacing her charger with this one has proved perfect! Not only does it work for her laptop, but it can also be used to charge her iPhone and other devices. Normally, she doesn't say anything about tech stuff I buy for her, but she thanked me for this one. I've purchased similar GaN chargers before, but the Lenovo-branded unit is very sturdy and well-made. It's build quality matches the X1 Carbon I bought it for, and I don't have any concerns about my wife tossing it into her bag.

Even if the cord starts to malfunction, either intrinsically or due to its soldering to the contacts(as has appeared to be the issue with the many other laptops I've owned in the past), it should be very inexpensive to replace. The cord, itself, is not 'one' with the adapter, being a USB-C(m) to USB-C(m) connection.

The prongs fold up into the block and the cord detaches from the block, creating a charger that is easy to stow in a laptop case (Many of which are NOT made to easily carry the normal chargers. I'm so grateful to the sales tech who helped me find them. I've been showing them to everyone with a Thinkpad, telling them they should get one.

This is a high power USB-C GaN Power Supply. What does this mean? Gallium Nitride (GaN) is a new type of power supply that increases efficiency and reduces size compared to common “silicone” power supplies of today. It has one USB-C outlet and the USB-C to USB-C cable that is included is extremely rugged and heavy duty. Again, this is a better deal than you’ll find available on Amazon. I, too, thought I didn’t need it, but I’m very happy that I purchased it.

Other than the USB C ports on the Thinkpad itself are real crappy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unusual design but very practical charger I was disappointed when I discovered that Lenovo doesn't stock the 100W charger that came with my Yoga 9i laptop. I mean what's up with that? My sister encouraged me to look at the alternatives and suggested that I try this one. It turns out this is not a bad design for a travel charger. It's a lot smaller than it looks but comes with a nice long cable.

It charges just as fast as the standard full-sized adapter and is more versatile in that you can use other charging cables (iphone) with it. This further reduces the number of items and bulk to your carry-on. I order these whenever I order a laptop.
