When IPS meets 4K, the result is even more amazing. The 27MU88-W's Ultra HD IPS display offers much better color reproduction compared to TN panels, providing incredible viewing angles and great color consistency over the entire screen. With a 4K IPS monitor, gamers can enjoy seamless viewing for an ultimate immersive gaming experience. Furthermore, the 27MU88-W in 3840x2160 Ultra HD resolution provides increased clarity, sharper texture, more details, more "real estate", and smoother images.

The 27MU88-W offers the built-in FreeSync technology. FreeSync technology of AMD eliminates tearing that occurs, in games with the highest visual settings, due to the difference between a graphic card's frame rate and a monitor's refresh rate Therefore, users who use the 27MU88-W adapted to FreeSync technology with the AMD hardware can rest assured that they are enjoying the best experience possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally happy with my purchase.Overnight delivery was quick, monitor was easy to unpack and plug in. Works perfectly with my 5k iMac. I'm using it vertically and horizontally, being able to switch to either easily with included stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We bought these as additional monitors for our imacs.Monitors for our imacs have been difficult because most monitors did not have the quality picture of the imac when placed side by side. This monitor however does not disappoint. Crisp and clear, the antiglare is wonderful and everyone who received one has fallen in love with it. These monitors appear very well made and I have been pleased with the ease of use. I definitely recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for MBP usersThis is one of only a few displays on the market that can provide displayport, USB-3 hub, and charging to the Apple MacBook Pro over a single USB-C cable (included in the box). The display is matte, which to me gives it a bit of a grainy appearance over whatever you're looking at, but overall it's sufficient and a good deal for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor with USB-C supportOver the last 2 years, I've purchased 10+ LG monitors and they have not let me down. This is another example of a great monitor for business use with good color reproduction and a great functional stand. We have purchased LG 4k 27" monitors for several employees and the feedback has been positive. I have a 27" 4k monitor from another brand that strains my eyes when I use it and that is not an issue I've with this LG monitor.USB-C connectivity is a plus for newer gen Macbook Pro users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bang for the buckI am currently using this monitor as the center-piece of my software engineer work station. I use two macbooks with this setup: 1) a 2016 MacBook Pro via a display port to thunderbolt cable and 2) a 2018 MacBook Pro via USB-C. I'm having a great experience using both.In terms of monitor quality, I am noticing some pretty substantial backlight bleed. For my day-to-day development work, it's hardly a big deal. Given the price of this monitor, I can't say I'm really shocked at the amount of backlight bleed.Helpful tip: If you're like me (obsessed with cable management), you may find the included USB-C cable woefully short (1 meter or 3.3 ft, I believe). If you are getting an after market USB-C cable make sure to get one that supports video throughput & charging. This would be a good pick: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=27923DO NOT get the cheapest one you can find on Amazon. Chances are this cable won't transmit your video signal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a replacement for Apple Thunderbolt DisplayCurrently using for day-to-day work with Macbook Pro 2016 connected through USB-C cable.Pros:* Non-glossy (a big plus in office setting, where we can't fully control the positioning of the screen).* Small footprint (previous Apple Thunderbolt display was bulky, and used to get quite warm).* Easy to setup.Cons:* If you enable fast charging of Macbook Pro through the single USB-C port, you lose 'data' (it's not thunderbolt 3 port), so can only be used as charging port.* Single USB-C port makes it unsuitable as a 'dock', I still have to plug-in through dongles ethernet cable (for wired network access), time machine backup disk etc. Also only 2 USB-A ports, I've run out of these already, for connecting USB keyboard and the softphone headset.* Since the panel can swivel to vertical position, aligning its bottom edge parallel to desk is an annoying trial-and-error chore.* Biggest problem is using this 4K display as "most space" scaled display makes the text and widgets too small. Setting to "largest text" makes everything too big. Picking in-between setting makes text fuzzier.Intent was to replace aging and dying Apple Thunderbolt Display with this one, however wish my company could spend double the amount of money to get the LG Ultrafine 5K display (which fixes some of above issues, e.g. multiple USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 3, fast charging with data passthrough, and "most space" with 5K etc.).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happysome minor drawbacks are that the USB port on the monitor appears to be slower than if I connect devices directly to my computer. Also, when connecting a hard drive to the monitor, you cant use the sleep functions because it will disconnect any attached drives without properly ejecting them. All and all as a monitor, great, doubling as a docking station.. good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the most partBought two. One of the monitor's USB C does not work after one week. Sound never worked on that monitor. Seems to have been a dud from the start. However, I love the image, features, etc. I am trying to exchange the broken one, and if that goes through, then I am happy as can be with this monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 4K USB-C monitorGreat monitor! Was a great price for a monitor with 4K and USB-C. Looks great and has the easiest menu navigation I've found. It would be nice if it had 2 USB-C ports rather than one.
