It's one main feature is it has wi-fi capabilities but not all tv are compatible. I have a Samsung UN32J flat screen and it will not recognize this unit as a wi-fi unit.Otherwise, a good player.

Only one problem, I have it connected to an LG 4K UHD TV, and somehow the DVD player randomly comes on by itself, causing the TV to switch inputs. Strange thing is the TV switches to ChromeCast HDMI input not DVD. Didn't have this problem with other DVD player.After Research on the WEB I find this is problem with some WEB capable DVD players. If it weren't for this BUG, Id rate it 5 stars..

The operation is smooth and the internet connection is easy and works great. The wireless interphase works all through the house with all devices on the network. I was looking for a different brand but since I had experience with LG phones I knew this was a great product. So far it is working wonderfully. This product requires an HDMI cord to connect to my TV, but it doesn’t even come with an HDMI cord, so now I need to go buy an extra cord. What kind of product doesn’t even include all components required for use?Maybe I’m misunderstanding something in the user instructions that explains how to connect to my TV, but that’s a stretch because the instructions included in the box are minimal at best.

It only have one HDMI port and for people with experience with technology this device is not with the current times. This is an entry level product for someone without installation experience or a supplier. This product does not have the capability of adding a diversity of channels. The operating system is locked.

Recently I reconnected the player and it is still having the same issues, I was hoping they would have created a fix for this problem. I guess I am the only 1 having this problem.

Or why hasn't LG posted something online or on these reviews to give consumers instructions on how to fix? I've done the software update. YouTube works fine. Please LG, for the love of the 3 LG TV's I have, the washer and dryer, and the Refer - Restore my faith in LG with this DVD player and do a software update to fix it!!!!

The only thing I can think of is that it doesn't have a way to set different ring tones for different contacts in text messaging. That's one feature that I wish it had.

My reason for switching was that I was given an LG 50" Tv set and to keep everything compatible. I bought the same brand too complement the TV set.

The BP350 appeared to be a suitable repalcement from the description on the exterior of the unit packaging. However; upon opening the box Isaw that the BP350 has one HDMI output so I it does not have the capability to pass through the cable signal. This unit will not perform the function I need. I have not used the player as a stand alone unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where’s the MAC?Just bought this today. Pretty slick player except for one thing: no MAC address. Well at least not easily accessible. LG expects you to make your router open to any device (so it can be logged in to your WiFi. Only when it’s logged in can you see the address. Seriously? If you use a MAC filter you’ll have to disable it in order to connect.
