Enjoy advanced Wi-Fi on all your devices with the Linksys MAX-STREAM AC2200 Tri-Band Router (EA8300). Ideal for busy families with multiple connected devices, this router offers ample bandwidth for simultaneous 4K and HD video streaming, next-gen online gaming, and other data-heavy activities. The router's three dedicated bands help minimize lag even when multiple devices are connected.

Traditional routers and range extenders force you to manually connect to either the range extender's or router's network in order to experience the best Wi-Fi signal. But thanks to Seamless Roaming support, the AC2200 router lets your device automatically switch to the strongest signal as you move around your home, with less buffering and fewer dropped calls. Pair the router with a compatible range extender to enjoy a strong, seamless Wi-Fi signal in every room of your house.

Devices such as 4K TVs, HD streaming media players, tablets, and game consoles consume a lot of bandwidth. With MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology, the AC2200 router sends Wi-Fi to multiple devices at the same time and same speed. Your whole family can play online games, stream 4K videos, and browse simultaneously without experiencing lag or buffering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy set up, Not so good Signal Strength Replaced an older (not THAT old) Linksys EA 6900 with hopes of better/faster connections. Unfortunately my old device performs better than the newer MU-MIMO device. It is located in same space as last device, but I can't seem to get the same signal strength/speeds as my old device

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Keeps assigning bad IP addresses Multiple devices on my home network get assigned IP address on a different subnet (my sub net is 192.168.2.x; assigned addresses are 192.168.10.x). those devices then do not have internet connectivity. Rebooting the router fixes it for a short time. The latest firmware upgrade did not fix it. I have version

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lacks features. Dumbed down router. It doesn't even allow you to monitor traffic or create a VPN. What are we paying for anyway? Gimmicks I guess. Overpriced for what you get. I'm very disappointed and sorry I bought this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Solid Router I bought this router to replace an aging Linksys EA6900. We upgraded to a 4K TV and that router was not powerful enough to push all of our devices. I currently have 28 devices connected at any given time, ranging from Notebooks, Phones, Firesticks, Nest, Ring doorbell etc. and there is no problem pushing 4K video to the family room TV. SIgnal goes throughout the whole home without extenders and we large one story.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works great, until it doesn't We've owned this router for a year now. It can go months with few issues. But once it has one, it can be frustrating to figure out what to do. Our first issue was that our PC and Laptop could not both be connected to the router while trying to turn on the same gaming or streaming services, or they'd both lose connection. Eventually we decided to take the PC and connect it directly to the modem, as the issue was never resolved. The next issue is that mobile devices occasionally stop working on the wifi, regardless of which band you're on. All devices are affected together, eliminating the possibility of it being the devices themselves. Sometimes a router restart works, sometimes not. We also have another router plugged into the same modem now, for testing purposes, and when the ac2200 stops updating devices, the other router does not. In fact, it's not needed a restart in months, whereas we've restarted the ac2200 every two weeks at least. What I can say is that the range seems amazing, as it reaches 2 houses down.
