Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Setup|Smooth Integration I bought a laptop recently that has an 802.11AC wireless adapter, and was unable to connect to my in-house WI-FI at all. Had to use my cellular hotspot and data just to setup the laptop because the router I had could not handle the new protocol. The WRT3200ACM router was a breeze to connect, setup, and configure--and I was able to remove my "Extender" as the signal is strong throughout--including external cameras. Fully integrates my older protocol equipment and my new laptop simultaneously, and I can even differential multiple device access levels, bands, and entry. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Term Review at 5 years I got this router roughly 5 years ago and it has been the most wonderful unit that I've ever worked with. I've had devices from D-Link, from Belkin (Linksys' parent company) and others and I've always had issues with some of those companies. I have had very few issues with Linksys products. In fact, I just replaced a WRT160N this week-end that failed after 9 years due to a power spike problem because of a power outage. I couldn't believe that it had been that long since it was installed at my in-laws. I replaced it with a WRT110 that I had in mothballs because of the WRT1900AC. I am looking forward to installing a new Linksys 802.11ax-based router once they bring out the new products to choose from. I'm looking towards getting a router that fully conforms to the Wireless AX spec with the new frequencies that will be used as well as the existing specs. Those that have been complaining about the router and its capabilities and faults may simply not have the needed experience to control and configure this more advanced router and its functions. It is not as capable as some Enterprise router systems I've worked with but it does have similar functions that allow me to restrict activities. Oh, and my children hate the parental controls and remote control access I have too. Oh well...sucks to be them...LOL

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to install, but I was easy to set up at my small business. However it has stopped working after about two years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works okay.., but has a few issues... I've been using this router for about a year. Wireless performance is generally okay, but not as good as I had hoped for. I will be adding at least one wireless access point to get better coverage in my house. The house is about 4500 sq ft, so maybe this is to be expected. My main problem is that there are frequent "hiccups" with the wireless network. What happens is that I will be doing normal low bandwidth internet browsing on say the 5Ghz network, with a strong signal and everything working fine, and all of a sudden the network will freeze up with nothing loading. The radio signal remains strong.., it's just that there is no data throughput. So I usually switch to the 2.4ghz network, and it works fine. Then later, i can switch back to the 5ghz network, I should note that this happens when I am the only one at home using the network - it's not like my kids are streaming movies on the network...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has worked flawlessly for a year now. I have been using this router for about a year now with no problems and much better wireless coverage than my previous router. It just sits there on a high shelf and works for all my 12 wireless devices. I just received a request to upgrade my attached SAMKNOWS ISP monitoring Whitebox router to more accurately monitor the speed of my COX ISP, prompting this review after using it for a year. Yes, I work for the govt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LED Issues Go to the forums and see the issues a lot of us are having.http://community.linksys.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/WRT1900AC-and-WRT1900ACS-front-panel-LED-brightness-adjustment/td-p/1011800/page/11Router works but the activity lights are barely visible now and Linksys refuses to acknowledge a problem. Save your money and frustration and buy something else. I would take a picture of the front of mine but it would seem it was unplugged/off even though it is working.
