Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best wifi adapter by far.with this adapter I am able to reach the entire length of my house, it goes through walls like they are not there.I am able to turn my desktop computer into a wifi connected computer without having to attach a wifi card onto the motherboard.This adapter works excellent with usb 3 connection and connects to 2.4 G and 5 G service with no problems. I finally am able to bring both of my Asus Sabertooth motherboard out of the stone age without doing any kind of hardware change to the motherboards.Thank you Netgear.

One thing I especially like is the fact that you can set parental controls and a time schedule for when you want the internet to turn off.

Setting up the modem, network, and adding all of the devices took less than an hour. Very simple, almost completely automated. The modem works better than the cable company's, faster speeds on both 2.4 and 5.0 bands. Seem to have better range also. I was able to purchase this modem on sale for $129.00 plus tax. will save $156.00 per year renting modem from cable company, already $25.00 ahead.So far great product.

On my wireless devices I get 180 out of 300mbps and upload of 37 out of 30 mbps, I'm sure if I have a wired device, I'll get my 300. Once in a while, it goes down but with an unplug and power up, is fixed. Great for the house usage and great for the money.

I mean it works...yeah but I thought it would be like wow!!! I purchased the more expensive one since my home is about 3,000 sq ft. And I wanted my kids to be able to log on for distance learning while I also work from home due to COVID we were able to. But could have done the same thing with the Xfinity modem you know.

There is also very good coverage anywhere we may be in our house, and a good distance outside around the house, perhaps 100 ft or more, has a strong enough signal to be still effective. It was easy to set up, and is a '˜quiet and faithful' servant in our household.

On the second attempt I finally got a person that solved the problem. The Netgear works flawlessly and has a good signal strength. It was easy to connect the other 'little things' like the thermostats, printer and the like.

The genie app is ok wish it was a little bit more friendly user, took me like 2 days before I can actually sign in and I don't know why and not all the features work for me but I like that I can control and pause the internet usage. Over all the modem is great and would recommend it works great with Comcast.

That frees up the congestion that occurs when many devices are running and streaming; at times the device drops the net, bit wifi is still present! Go figure, but We love it. Will buy another.

Internet comes in from coaxial cable from my internet provider, plugs into the back of my modem. Was easy to set up, I have two hard wired smart TVs, one hard wired Mac, and at any time can have anywhere between 4-8 wireless devices connected all running smoothly at the same time. Handles even more when family comes over, can be anywhere between 4-20 more devices that can jump on to the WiFi. We are mostly streaming movies and TV shows on multiple devices, music streaming, web browsing, etc all at the same time. I live in a two-story home, approx 3,000 sq ft and 2.4G and 5G signal reaches all over the house. Love this modem! Would recommend Netgear routers, mesh or range extenders to give your signal an extra boost as you get further away from the modem.

I bough an extender which worked great, however, it took up an electrical wall socket that in the kitchen. Found I had to remove it too often to use kitchen tools (mixers, toaster, etc). So, I researched and purchased the AC1750, connected it, then immediately found the signal strength was greater than I anticipated. Easy installation too. Thanks Netgear!

I did change the setting from 5 to 2.4, so I was able to get WiFi in the one furthest upstairs bedroom. For some reason it's still difficult to reach this bedroom, but the rest of the house is fine. Service on our IPhones is working properly, which is the reason for the new device.

It has trouble connecting wirelessly to my 2012 Samsung smart tv. May be the the tv. Other than that. I use it for gaming and connect lots of devices to it wireless and wired. I work from home and fill all ethernet ports. The device still puts out good speeds.

When I had to call their technical support team to get help connecting my outdated printer to the new modem I found out how truly awesome they are. I will now use Netgear for all of my computer support needs and their prices are reasonable for that and for their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unreliable, had to get a replacementIn 9 months the router stopped working. This is our 2nd netgear model that has stopped working, a replacement buy for the one before. Wireless networks would intermittently broadcast and be no/slow speeds. Received replacement under warranty for $29 or have to wait 20-28 days for the free shipping method. Not a fan

This unit set up was quick and straightforward. We are now pulling speeds above what we are subscribed at with up to a dozen items connected at once. I wouldn't think twice about buying again.

I can customize parental controls for every device and keep my grandson out of unwanted (in my eyes) internet areas. Its a wonderful router.
