The Core Infrastructure Server Suites (CIS Suites) is the simplest and most cost-effective way to acquire the software for Microsoft's private cloud solutions. The CIS Suites includes Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft System Server 2012. The CIS Suite Datacenter supports an unlimited number of virtualized instances and covers up to two physical processors. This SKU provides an upgrade from the CIS Server Standard Edition which had supported only two virtual instances per license.
