Using Novell Cluster Services, you can combine your network servers into a single, interconnected group, also known as a cluster. This allows you to easily scale up to accommodate expanding storage requirements of your SAN, as well as increase the number of resources (applications, users, etc.) in your cluster. One of the primary benefits of server clustering is that if one of the clustered servers happens to fail, one or more of the other servers in the cluster can automatically and transparently absorb its workload. Your users will have continual, seamless access to their stored data, applications and other storage and network services.
